Tequila Sunrise is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath, pet-friendly townhome in the popular gated community of Barrier Dunes. This property is new to the rental program, is in great condition, and accommodates up to 6 guests. It is also an end unit, which makes it feel bigger, brighter, and a little more private. Tequila Sunrise backs up to the State Park and enjoys a view of the bay. Aptly named, if you're an early riser, you can enjoy the beautiful sunrises from the living area, the master suite, and from both of the bayside decks. And at the end of the day, you can take a short walk to the beautiful sandy beach of Cape San Blas and watch a magnificent sunset into the sparkling water of the Gulf of Mexico - this is truly the best of both worlds!

With a new owner and updated decor, the townhome feels new and clean and welcoming. The living area is large and comfortable with a reclining sofa and two reclining chairs, a large flat screen TV, and a wonderful bay window, which offers a cozy little place to read. The living area opens onto a large deck with outdoor seating and a gas grill. Back inside, there is an additional space to relax with a daybed and a trundle, which doubles as sleeping accommodations for two people downstairs. The dining area has a high top table with four bar stools and is located between the living area and the kitchen. The breakfast bar has seating for two more.

The kitchen is well-stocked with most everything you need to stay in and cook. There is a full-sized refrigerator with ice-maker, an electric stove, a microwave, and a dishwasher. There is also a regular style coffee maker, a crock pot, a toaster, a blender, plenty of cookware, bakeware, dishes, and glassware. As a great added benefit, Tequila Sunrise also provides reverse-osmosis filtered water through a separate faucet at the kitchen sink. This system removes impurities to provide improved filtered water for drinking and cooking.

Next to the kitchen is a large pantry/laundry closet with a full size washer and dryer and plenty of shelves and storage. Just off the kitchen is a great little space with a desk for anyone who needs to work or study remotely. There is also a half bathroom on the first floor for everyone's convenience.

Upstairs are the two en-suite bedrooms. The layout is perfect with plenty of privacy. At the top of the stairs, you will find a large and inviting master suite with a king bed, a large flat screen TV, and another desk setup that offers plenty of "peace and quiet" to work while you're here. There is lots of room to unpack and settle in. Additionally, the master bathroom is setup really well with double vanities, a large soaking tub, a separate shower, and a private toilet. This bedroom also has a private balcony that overlooks the bay. This suite offers the perfect place to relax and unwind.

From here, you walk down the hall to the bright and welcoming queen bedroom on the opposite side of the townhome. In this cozy and private space, there is a flat screen TV and a balcony that enjoys the afternoon sun. The en-suite bathroom has a single vanity, a toilet, and a tub/shower combination.

Outside, the townhome provides enough parking for two vehicles. For the beach, we supply 4 beach chairs and a beach cart for your convenience to make it easier to get your gear to and from the beach. There is also an outdoor shower to rinse the sand off of toes and paws when you get back.

Barrier Dunes is a great community for guests of all ages. The streets are safe for walking your dog and for your children or grandchildren to play or ride bikes. There are three beach access points, two community swimming pools, two tennis/pickleball courts, a wonderful playground with new equipment, and several ponds where kids also love to feed the resident turtles.
