We stayed in this amazing home for Thanksgiving week. You cannot beat the location or views, and it is walking distance to tons of great coffee shops and restaurants!The home is clean, well equipped, and communication with the owner was great! We thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor seating and especially the fire pit! We ended up hosting Thanksgiving (unplanned) and the table easily sat all 11 of us, with plenty of space to lounge and play games after. A great trip!

Great property, beautiful views!

We absolutely loved our stay. The weather wasn't fantastic, but having this house with the beautiful views and being close to so many restaurants and breweries really made the trip memorable. The listing was accurate, and the communication with the owner was fabulous. Will definitely try to stay again!

Family Fun Time!

Dream House

This was our first Vrbo ever. We stayed for about 5 days. The house was a paradise with a lot of amenities that went above and beyond. Great location too, of course. It felt like a resort just for you and your family. Hope to come back again!

Thanksgiving stay

We had a wonderful stay here over Thanksgiving week. The property was very spacious for my wife and I, along with my three sons and their significant others. The place is in a great location for morning walks and watching the evening sunset from the beach-facing decks. Having a garage was handy for parking and overnight security for my son who brought his surfboards. We would definitely book this property again.

Beautiful Home!

Beautiful home with all the needed amenities and more than enough room for our multigenerational family. Greatly enjoyed time on the patio and around fire pit. We only wished the beach access across the street was for a sandy beach but The Strand was easy to drive to.

Amazing house

Staying in this house was truly a treat. It was better than the pictures. The kitchen table size was perfect for our family gathering and the kitchen was fully stocked. Love that there were little notes left explaining how to use certain things which empowered us to not have to call the owner. Great place! We went to Carlsbad for a sandy beach but that was close by.

Oceanside Beauty

What can I say? This property was a stunner.. absolutely perfect in every way for our family gathering! Spacious and lovely with beautiful views of the ocean from the main floor and the upstairs bedrooms. The shoreline across from the home is comprised of small rocks but there is a sandy beach just a short walk away. We loved gathering around the fire pit. I would love to stay here again!

Not a safe area

There is a train track right behind the property. There was a lot of foot traffic and homelessness. Not an area of California I would want to visit again.

October Vacation

We enjoyed the house and the views. The check in was a bit confusing. I received a six digit code from VRBO and thought it was the code to enter the house. The lock box was a 4 digit code. It took awhile to find the correct code.

CA trip

This was the perfect house for our family’s trip to CA. It is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for the perfect balance of family meals at home, but also taking day trips (very close to the interstate). The area is safe- tons of locals out exercising and surfing. We were able to take daily walks along the path that runs parallel to the beach. We drove a short distance to the pier to enjoy a day at the beach (the beach right by the house is rocky- but beautiful). The host quickly responded to all of our questions. We had two cars that easily fit into the garage. We would highly recommend this rental.

Amazing home-everything you need!

The pictures look pretty great but in person, this home is even better. It truly has everything you need from pots, pans, spices, laundry detergent, to extra toothbrushes and travel size sunblock. The views are amazing, and we spent hours on the patio enjoying the view and ocean breeze in the day and the fire pit in the evening. Our only regret is not booking early enough to have enjoyed more days here. For those booking with kids- the beach in front of the home is not really a beach to swim or play at; it’s too rocky for that but a short walk away is Buckaneer Beach and my toddler enjoyed that beach and loved the walk to and from that beach. Until next time Oceanside!

My favorite childhood memories were summer vacations at the beach. My wife and I purchased the Beach House at the Bridge in South Oceanside to give our children the same happy memories. They would ride their bikes to the Oceanside Harbor beach for the Junior Lifeguards summer program and City of Oceanside surf camp, then practice surfing at our own two surfing beaches just steps from the house.

We look forward to you, our guests making your own memories at the beach in South Oceanside, whether it's early morning beach walks, enjoying the complimentary beach cruisers, body boards, and surf boards, or walking to great local eateries, cafes, tap houses, and vintage shops. Then, enjoying each others' company around the outdoor fire pit at sunset would round out your perfect Oceanside beach vacation at The Bridge.

We want your stay with us to be relaxing, luxurious, reinvigorating, and memorable. We are local and responsive, and are only a text or phone call away.
