Blue Duck Manor is a cozy, Veteran owned beach house. The cozy multi unit home is composed of 8 bedrooms and 4 baths and is the perfect for beach getaways, family reunions, class reunions, wedding parties, family vacations, working remotely, business outings, conferences, and much more. This loving and inviting home is located just two blocks from Dewey Beach and one block from the bay. If you are hungry, need a coffee, or just crave an awesome night out on the town, the rental is just blocks away from more than 40 of the most iconic Dewey Beach breakfast nooks, coffee shops, breweries, restaurants, and bars. Blue Duck Manor was definitely updated with love. This newly upgraded home features two well-appointed kitchens and multiple bedrooms and baths. The home includes a flat screen televisions in every room with either cable or Roku capability, high speed internet in each unit, as well as furnishing and design elements that create a welcoming and memorable beach vacation. The home's overall design features two distinct spaces; one-side features 3 bedrooms and 1 bath and the second side boasts 5 bedrooms and 3 baths! The three bedroom side of the home features a full kitchen and large modern bath. The three bedrooms on this side of the house include one bedroom with a king bed, the second bedroom with a full bed, and the third bedroom has two twin beds. When you enter the second side of the home there is a generously proportioned kitchen and living space featuring an oversized flat screen TV complimented by a huge two-floor stone wall, multiple couches all tastefully brought together with the comforts you would want in a family home. The first floor features 1 bedroom with a queen size bed close to a shared bathroom. The second bedroom is outfitted with a king size bed as well as its own inviting bath. The third bedroom on the first floor offers plenty of extra bedding with double bunks (4 singles). The second floor completes the beach experience with one bath and two bedrooms; one bedroom has a king size bed in a unique A-frame design punctuated by the rock wall and the second bedroom has two full size beds. The backyard is a fully fenced in oasis complete with corn hole games, a gas grill, a gas fire pit, and plenty of seating. This area is great for kids, pets, and get togethers. Don't worry about enough parking. The home has enough parking for up to 8 cars. Smaller Unit can host up to 6 people and larger unit 14 for a total of 20 guests. Linens and towels will not be provided.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

This home is a pet friendly rental with a $300 non refundable pet fee per pet. Dogs Only.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $430.00.

This property was great for a girls trip! It felt even bigger than what came across in the photos. Even with a bigger group, we didn’t feel cramped. The location was perfect - walkable to town and the beach.

Amazing Bachelorette Weekend!

Stayed here with a group of 10 to celebrate an upcoming wedding and had the most incredible time. The location is a short walk away from many of the go-to bars/restaurants in Dewey Beach, and a very quick drive from Rehobeth. The house was spacious, modern, and super easy to check in/out. We will definitely stay here again!

The kitchen was perhaps the best supplied of any rental we have had. More than 20 plates each of multiple sizes, cups, glasses and too many mugs to count. A couple of the burners on the stove top were finicky and only half the toaster worked but otherwise the kitchen and supplies were great. Seating was a bit awkward we fit around 13-14 but it was all hightops so difficult for the kids as we did not want them to eat around the coffee table because of the couches and rugs.

The House was great for our large group of friends and kids. Bedrooms were spacious and there were plenty of bathrooms. There is a really cute kids room with bunk beds - although the steps are steep and shallow, so not so great for the real little kids, but otherwise a perfect hangout spot for the older kiddos. The owner uses a cleaning service for the home and they did a really good job. We also took advantage of the linen package which I HIGHLY recommend. In terms of the neighborhood, it is super walkable to nearby coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is also great if you like to go for bike rides, go for a morning walk or want to run off the several Crushes you drank at the Starboard. The beach is maybe a 5 minute walk from the house, so the location is fantastic! The Jolly Trolley pick up is a 7 minute walk from the house which took us to and from Rehoboth Beach. 10/10 would stay here again.

Wonderful Beach Property

Had a fantastic stay. 12 adults total, with plenty of sleeping options. The divided house worked out to give each group their own space. Awesome to be walking distance to downtown Dewey and the bars. Plenty of parking.

Awesome place

We had a large group with a bunch of cars that wanted to relax on the beach during the day and go out to the bars at night and this house was 4 blocks from either one. Beyond the location, we had plenty of beds, space for the cars, and a big backyard to play games, hang out by the fire pit, and grill burgers for Memorial Day. It was a little odd that we had to drive up coastal highway for check-in when it seems like they could have just provided us the door code, but we were driving past the rental office anyway, so it really wasn’t inconvenient. Would DEFINITELY recommend and would stay again!

Rude neighbors but great location

The house itself was really nice and spacious. My family enjoyed their stay but, the neighbors were really unfriendly. We woke up.to find nails in the driveway under our tires and the police pounding on the door due to neighbors calling about the number of cars in OUR driveway. Driveway holds up to 8 cars. We only occupied 6 spaces. Also, someone messed with the main electrical box while we sleeping. The location was great. Central to Dewey and Rehoboth. REALLY NICE JUST AWEFUL NEIGHBORS!!!

Opportunity to do better

The house itself had potential and was in a convenient location, within walking distance to Dewey Beach and local restaurants. However, we encountered several issues during our stay that impacted our experience.Upon arrival, the house was not clean. We found leftover toys from previous guests, Cheerios under the beds, and a noticeable presence of ants and flies throughout the home. The backyard was overgrown and in need of maintenance, which made it less enjoyable to use.Families with young children should be aware that the property is located on a busy intersection with heavy traffic, so extra caution is necessary.We also experienced a serious issue with the hot water system on the smaller side of the house—it broke and began leaking water into the apartment. Fortunately, we caught it in time and were able to shut it off ourselves. Unfortunately, it took 36 hours for someone to come address the problem, which felt like an excessive delay.The electrical setup in the house was confusing, with light switches placed in odd and inconvenient locations, such as behind doors or outside of rooms. Additionally, the linens we rented through the property were mismatched for the bed sizes, which should have been easily avoidable.Overall, while the location was great, the property needs better upkeep and more attentive management to meet expectations.

Great house in great location!

Our group consisted of 3 families, with kids’ ages ranging from 6-12, and we all really enjoyed our stay! Location - Easy walk about two blocks to the beach, easy enough for the littlest one in our group with no problems. The house is right on the corner of the main road, but there’s a crosswalk right in front, which makes it easy. House layout - It’s actually two units with separate entrances. The listing description does a nice job detailing the bedrooms/bathrooms on each side. It was nice with multiple families so that we could split up and not feel like we were on top of each other. The kids loved the room with double bunks, they thought it was so fun! The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, with updated appliances. Cleanliness - The house wasn’t as clean as I would’ve like. We wiped things down ourselves and was surprised that there was still a bit of grime and dirt on surfaces and handles. The floors were VERY dirty, they were swept but clearly not mopped.

Great for family

We had an amazing time. Great location - close to the beach, close to town but not so close that the noise was a problem. Back yard was big, fenced in and had a great beach vibe.
