¡Trae a toda la familia a la playa! ¿Busca una casa grande para reunir a toda la familia? ¿Estás listo para reservar tus vacaciones? Esta antigua casa frente al mar será perfecta para ti en cualquier temporada. Tenga en cuenta que la edad mínima para alquilar esta cabaña es de 38 años. Por favor, póngase en contacto con el propietario si es una familia más joven.

Esta encantadora casa frente al mar ha sido recientemente renovada. Construido en la década de 1930, conserva todo su encanto original, mientras que las actualizaciones modernas lo llevan al siglo XXI. Un nuevo sistema HVAC lo mantendrá fresco en verano y cálido en invierno. La cocina completamente nueva está llena de electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y una nevera para vinos. La cabaña tiene 2 dormitorios y un porche cubierto para dormir con cama queen abajo y 4 dormitorios más grandes arriba. No se proporcionan sábanas, pero se puede recomendar un servicio de sábanas. El baño de la planta baja ha conservado su bañera antigua con patas y ducha, mientras que el baño de la planta superior tiene una nueva ducha. El salón tiene un piano bien mantenido para quienes tocan. Esta casa llena de antigüedades tiene muchos porches cómodos para relajarse y una terraza frente al mar para tomar el sol. El acceso a la playa está en el camino de entrada y sale a la calle, por lo que nadie caminará por la propiedad desde la playa. Tenemos estacionamiento fuera de la calle para 4 autos. Este alquiler es adecuado para familias extensas o familias que viajan juntas. Somos amigables LGBT. Es un alquiler tranquilo NO apto para jóvenes solteros. No alquilamos a estudiantes o recién graduados. No alquilamos a grupos de solteros. Tenemos tolerancia cero para los fiesteros.

My only regret was not inviting more people to enjoy this comfy beach house with us. It’s a great house for a family reunion because it has so many areas where small groups can break away and gather to sit and visit. I spent most of the time on the deck enjoying the ocean view and breeze and sound of the waves. The 10 deck chairs sit up high and are comfy. I loved doing morning coffee on the deck and there are umbrellas for the deck tables so you can enjoy breakfast and lunch in shade. The dune obscures a full view of the beach itself from the main level but you can see the beach and surf from the two oceanfront bedrooms upstairs. And the walk to the beach is short and pleasant under pine trees. The beds were real comfortable and we loved the vintage furniture that reminded us of our grandparents’ beach cottage. The house was clean and the kitchen has all the dishes and tools you need. The air conditioner works like a champ but we hardly needed it with the breeze. Our host, Valerie, was friendly and easy to reach and very helpful. Our dog had a great time too.

Perfect Getaway for Special Family Celebration

We stayed at this beautiful, cozy historical beach house to celebrate my mom’s early 70th birthday, and it was truly the perfect setting. The home is full of character and charm, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and special from the moment we arrived.The sound of the waves, the vintage details, and the peaceful location all added to the experience. We’re so grateful for the chance to celebrate such an important milestone in such a special place.

Lovely beach home. Comfortable and welcoming

This was a short winter break for us. We took our dog. Home right on the water. Large house with interesting nooks and crannies. Easy to be together or to have some quiet time alone. This is a home. Antiques, a piano. But updated and comfortable. Lovely hosts. Very responsive to questions and very patient with a key fiasco we had. We’ll be back for sure.

Charming home!

Charming home right on the water with beautiful views. The location was perfect and we were able to enjoy the beach right from the house. Plenty of room and we would definitely rent again. 😊

Great location

A half way meeting spot for friends weekend with dogs. Great location. Great beach The house furnishings are some what outdated and tired. The floors and surfaces were a bit grimy and dusty . The house rooms were dark . Surfaces were cluttered . Bedding and mattresses were worn. The house needs a deep clean and windows cleaned The hostess was very responsive and was very receptive and accomodating

Historic Cottage with lots of charm

This was a family vacation with three generations celebrating a 70th birthday. As soon as we walked into the cottage, we felt at home. There were plenty of bedrooms(6), porches with pull out couches, and a HUGE deck overlooking the ocean. Kitchen was well stocked with all needed utensils and appliances. The location was outstanding. It was secluded from the crowds, but close enough to walk to everything Dewey Beach has to offer. We will for sure be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay celebrating family!!!

Absolutely perfect

What an amazing beach cottage! So roomy and yet very cosy. We were celebrating my parents’ big birthdays (yay 7-0!) and the whole gang - including the dogs - were welcome and comfortable. We loved looking at all the original photos and playing the piano in the evenings. This place feels like such a wonderful and long standing gathering place for the owners that you feel lucky they are letting you borrow it the moment you walk in the door.

Paradise

The house was very nice - furnishings mostly antiques and beautiful. This little get-away was the most relaxing experience of our lives - and we took our two Corgis. The house is right on the sand - we sat on the deck and stared at the ocean - even slept on the deck and listened to the waves - total relaxation - paradise!

Everyone in our family, including the dog, loves this house.

Charming house with piano in the perfect Dewey beach location. This was our second New Year's weekend stay. It is a perfect for our extended family. (Up on pilings, so not handicapped accessible.)

Sibling get together

The house was clean, comfortable and plenty big enough for our long awaited sibling get together. After renting other houses over the years, I was particularly impressed with how well equipped the kitchen was with everything necessary. With almost all of us over 70 yrs old the house was very manageable and extra sitting rooms to be alone to read quietly. Plus Dewey has plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Also impressed with the immediate response from the homeowner with any questions we had. If you have pets, and you are young or old, this house is a great rental! Highly recommend it!!

Wonderful stay in Dewey!!

Great oceanfront location, big house with plenty of rooms, wonderful back porch with furniture to enjoy the ocean sounds, love all the sun porches. And the owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this house and would definitely stay again!

Perfect for our friend's getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this oceanfront home. The deck was perfect for watching the ocean, with plenty of comfortable seating - and when it rained, the porch was second best. The location is great - besides being so close to the ocean, it's an easy walk to stores and restaurants, including those that are dog friendly. A lovely time had by all!!

Dewey Beach Historic Ocean Front Cottage

Even though Mother Nature wasn’t very nice to us, this cottage provided ample space for me and my family to gather in the large dinning room area for games and dinners. Clean and cozy. The 3 spacious sun room areas allowed for storage, quiet space and ocean front indoor seating for those rainy days. The ocean front deck is big, has great seating, gates to keep the kids or pets secure and 2 deck umbrellas. The 6 bedrooms worked great for us.. 3 twins in one room 2 twins in another, no bunks, the rest where double or queen. The kitchen is small, well equipped, no open concept, but this is an older home with lots of character. Antiques scattered throughout, which I like. The 2 baths are functional.. even though I think claw foot tubs are beautiful, they are hard to get into and out of.. I preferred the outdoor shower (totally enclosed) .. There where some sand toys and a small children’s pool for guest use. We might have used these but the weather didn’t allow. No beach chairs or umbrella, so bring your own. The beach access, is not out front, you have a short walk around the adjacent home. Location.. In Dewey, after coming here for 20 years, I don’t think there is a bad location in Dewey. Everything is walkable. This place, ocean front, how can you beat it, loved it! This is a great cottage! Rent it, you won’t be disappointed.

Location marvelous, house lovely, owner efficient and attentive

This house was perfect for our extended family's "New Year's at the Beach." Only caution would be that there is no entry that doesn't involve quit a few stairs, so not suitable for disabled. We loved the handy kitchen, in-tune piano, nice set-up for gathering around TV for movies, comfortable beds, and above all the location right on the beach. The owner was helpful and attentive to our needs.

Perfect beachfront vacation

My family and I had a perfect trip. The rental process was quick and easy with the great communication from Valerie. The house was perfect. It has plenty of room for family to have dinner together out on the deck overlooking the ocean and then retire to their own separate spaces to read or relax. We rented off-season and for me being able to walk out the door right onto the beach and be the only person swimming in the ocean was a nice luxury. We have already rented for next year.

Nice ocean views!

My family of 3, and our dog, had a very nice time at this quaint ocean front cottage. The home stayed cozy on a cold, winter weekend—and had everything we needed. Beautiful views, easy walk to beach, games, and good WiFi. Owner was easy to work with. Great time away!
