Highlands Gem w/ hot tub, fire pit - walkable to Bardstown Rd
Planning your Kentucky Derby trip? Hitting the Bourbon Trail? Planning some college visits? This gorgeous home will be a great start and end to your day. With three private bedrooms and a basement apartment, there will be plenty of space for your group to spread out. And with wifi extenders on each floor, there will be plenty of connectivity.
The main floor has a fully stocked spacious and beautiful kitchen, dining room with a table that can expand to seat 10-12, formal living room with piano and gas fireplace, and two sunrooms. Hang out in the den where you can play games, watch smart tv/cable tv, or have a drink by the electric fireplace. There's also a great space to set up an extra table for puzzles, cards, or games.
Upstairs you will find three bedrooms and a huge bathroom, along with a dedicated office for those times when you still need to do a little work...or some creative writing.
The basement suite includes a queen bed, sectional sofa that converts to a double bed, smart tv and wii gaming system, full bath, and laundry facilities.
And when you are ready for some fresh air...sit on the porch swing, gather around the fire pit, dine alfresco on the deck, chill in the hammock chairs, enjoy the outdoor smart tv, or relax in the outdoor hot tub. Take a walk up to historic Bardstown Road and watch the city come alive! There you can do a little shopping or enjoy all the amazing restaurants and bars (and then walk back home without worrying about having to drive or park). There are also several parks nearby.
Upon request and for an additional fee, we would be happy to pre-shop and stock your kitchen and provide transportation to/from your events.

This home feels close to everything amazing in Louisville. You can walk to Bellarmine University or drive to the University of Louisville. It is close to three Olmstead Parks, the Zoo, Kentucky Kingdom & Splashin Safari, the Yum! Center, the Kentucky Center for the Arts, the Speed Museum, NuLu, several distilleries and breweries, and the excitement of Churchill Downs. And it is walkable to Bardstown Road with all its amazing restaurants, shops, and bars. Yet your stay will be peaceful, quiet, and relaxing - filled with Southern charm. We love this house, and we know you will too!

The house has so many live/work/play/sleep spaces available. There are two office spaces, one upstairs and quiet and the other in a sun-filled open space where you can work while staying "in the conversation". The kitchen and dining room are centrally located between 4 separate living & play spaces. The basement apartment has a queen bed and a sectional sofa that converts to a double bed, along with lots of space for additional cots or sleeping bags, perfect for a kids' retreat space. Bedrooms are located above and below the living spaces, so it is easy to "get away for a bit".
And the backyard...you just won't want to leave. It has an outdoor grill, outdoor dining, a firepit with beautiful lighting, an outdoor smart tv, hammock chairs, gorgeous landscaping, the koi pond, and a hot tub! We've stocked the sun porch with outdoor-friendly dishes and a refrigerator for easy access to drinks and snacks.
And the backyard...you just won't want to leave. It has an outdoor grill, outdoor dining, a firepit with beautiful lighting, an outdoor smart tv, hammock chairs, gorgeous landscaping, the koi pond, and a hot tub!
