Renovated 1890’s Colonial with updated and fully appointed gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, formal dining room, living room and sitting area, dedicated office space, patio and an enclosed porch. The house is a short distance to the quaint and historical town of Litchfield which has award winning restaurants, shopping and the town’s Green where you can sit, relax and unwind. There are several options for hiking, walking, and cycling, skiing. There are several options to visit nearby wineries, breweries and the Litchfield Distillery. More detailed information on these locations are available when you check in to the house.

Great Location in Litchfield

Lovely home with updated kitchen and baths. Great location close to downtown Litchfield with restaurants and shopping. They did not lie about the beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Totally amazing- spacious updated house, great amenities, excellent location - everything we needed!

House was very clean and had well stocked kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and having three bathrooms was convenient. Easy access and check out. Friendly and responsive owner.

Beautiful home

I stayed at this home for a long weekend. It was just what I needed and beautifully remodeled. It’s in a cute quiet neighborhood and was an easy walk into Litchfield. I would I absolutely stay here again.

For a homecoming to Litchfield after many years absence, we could not have been more pleased with the home, its location and comforts. Preparing breakfasts and a dinner at home were paired with serious over-supervision and raucous laughter. Gathering rooms were plush with separate space for TV, reading and the inevitable Zoom calls. Well appointed bedrooms and spotless bathrooms served us well. Our host was attentive to our clumsy efforts to gain entrance in the dark and checked in the next day to make sure we weren’t sleeping in the car! All around a lovely stay — highly recommend.

Two couples attending a wedding in Lichtfield. Quiet, well located and clean property. Everything was in good working order and the instructions book was clear. The keys/lock process is not intuitive to navigate but clear after reading the instructions. The landlord was responsive.

Very enjoyable stay

The property was very clean and accommodating for our family of four. The three bedrooms and three bathrooms were ideal. Very quiet street with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. A short drive or walk into town. I would definitely recommend it.

Relaxing Independence Day holiday

We enjoyed this peaceful and quiet home in the country. The kitchen is spacious and modern, and was the focus of the house. The bedrooms are roomy and quiet, and the updated showers were great. House is near hiking as well as very close to town. Will return.

Summary

I never received directions on how to check in. I have the VRBO app and I logged in on my computer. I had to call the owner because I never received instructions. I haven't had this problem before with VBRO so I am not sure the breakdown. Other than that it was a great property to stay in.

Great location. Beautifully remodeled house

The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, The location is very convenient to everything in Litchfield. Check in was easy and we walked into a super clean house. The kitchen is well equipped. We found the house very comfortable, including the beds and linens. We will definitely come back.

A Week in the Litchfield Hills

The views of the hills from the front and back of the property are simply beautiful. The home looks to be newly done over. It is charming and comfortble. Great location, it's an easy walk to the village green. Overall it affords a nice relaxing country getaway.
