Lakefront Cottage on Peaceful Horace Lake

This Charming Lakefront Cottage is a beautifully appointed with 2 bedrooms & 1 private bath. Open concept living room/dining/kitchen space boasts beautiful views of Lake Horace. The master bedroom has a Queen bed with the 2nd bedroom offering a bunkbed with a twin/full/twin trundle bed. There is a lovely bright screened in porch furnished with a seasonal sectional & club chairs for your quiet enjoyment. The outdoor deck located right off the porch has a full gas grill, table & chairs for 6 ppl to enjoy the outside views & activities. A brand-new washer & dryer has been added for your convenience. Down by the lake there is a private dock, swim float with ladder in the water, as well as a fire pit (wood provided to start- 12 logs) complimentary.

A beautiful stone indoor fireplace in the living room will warm you long into the evening, as well as a flat screen TV with cable & free WiFi.

This house will comfortably sleep 6 people.

***This cottage is newly renovated and fully equipped with furnishings and kitchen essentials.

Adorable cottage

Beautifully decorated cottage, comfortable bed, wonderful towels. Lake was warm, clear but tea colored. Dogs loved the walk in to swim, so did I. No phone service for Verizon. Owner very responsive when we had a few issues. It’s a perfect place to stay and relax and swim a lot!,

Fantastic Week!

I’ve rented many lake houses over the years, and while this cottage is a bit on the smaller side, this is one of the best properties I’ve ever stayed at. Great screened porch adds significant livable space as well! The view is awesome, as the lot is a rounded parcel with lake views from all sides. I brought my 21’ boat, which worked perfect with the dock provided. The only downside is that the only public launch on the lake is at Chase Park… it’s $50 to launch, and they close on days during inclement weather. I got stuck having to trailer my boat the morning of checkout, which kind of stinks when checkout is 10 AM, and Chase Park doesn’t open until 9. Great ramp though (it’s shallow… go deep with trailer)! Kristyn the host was very responsive and helpful. I will def stay again!

Complete with all the comforts of home coupled with an amazing view and clean, pristine lake. Family fun for everyone.., highly recommend this place!!!

Simply Amazing!

Where to begin...This property is absolutely stunning. From the location on a point to the perfectly appointed house. Hanging out on the docks, relaxing in the screened in porch, to sitting by the fire pit, all were so comfortable and inviting. The walk-in sandy water entrance, to the super comfy beds. The stay was EVERYTHING we had hoped for. After numerous years of staying at great locations with a sub-par accommodations, this place nailed it! Seems like the place was furnished with all new beds, furniture and kitchen utensils. Except for not having a dishwasher, I cannot recommend any changes! I WILL be renting again next summer!

This property was exactly as listed. The setting was absolutely beautiful and right on the lake. The house had everything needed and was beautifully decorated. The manager provided all the information a family would want. Highly recommended for a wonderful family vacation.

We'll be back!

We had such an amazing week at the Loon Lake Cottage. The screened in porch and deck provide beautiful views of the lake. The dock and floating dock were in excellent shape and provided a lot of fun too. The property does have steps to the right of the dock to wade into the water which is very shallow until you get past the end the dock. The water was surprisingly warm for early July too! The property was clean, inviting, updated, and had all the needed amenities. It definitely felt like home for a week. We'll 100% be back!
