Cozy home

Cute little rowhouse in the perfect spot

Linda does a great job of maintaining the house and providing the amenities you need. It's in a great location, near all the favorite commercial spots, but tucked out of the way enough to be quiet. Additionally, I left behind an item and Linda was kind enough to send it to my home right away.

Cute Townhouse

I absolutely loved this rental! Everything was very clean and homey. We stayed here so that we could attend the hot air balloon festival and attend the sight and sound theater. The location was only about 20 minutes away from each and it's in the heart of downtown. Next time, I hope to be able to walk around and see more of the city. Love the ART everywhere. Our family would absolutely stay here again. Just an FYI, the stairs are steep and were a bit of trouble for my MIL who is 76. 2nd floor is queen bed and 3rd floor is the 2 twin beds. Parking is on the street too which tends to be a high traffic area. Don't let this deter you, but wanted to inform.

The place was well located. We had some trouble with on street parking spots. The place was nice but we could not negotiate the steep narrow stairs up to the bedroom especially at night. My husband is in his mid 70's with new knees. We left after 1 night. We sent an email notice reply on one of the messages that was sent to us , we do not know if it was received.

Great Location in Lancaster

My wife and I enoyed our stay in Linda' lovely home located right in the heart of Lancaster PA. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shops and the Central Market. We were fortunate to get street parking right in front of the house each night of our stay. The house was well equipped, very clean and quaint. Steep stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms would be an issue for guests with mobility problems. Linda was a great communicator. Check-in and the extra thoughtful touches, like coffee pods, were much appreciated.

Mulberry Street townhome

We only stayed 2 nights but we loved Linda’s home away from home. She has personal touches throughout the house. For example: Milano cookies and small water bottles on the kitchen counter. A variety of teas, all my favorites. For coffee lovers plenty of Keurig pods. Makeup wash clothes in the upstairs bathroom were a great addition to the fluffy towels. There are lots of pillows on the beds included some with silk pillowcases. The master bedroom has a full-size bed, so if you’re used to queen or king, it’s a bit of an adjustment. One small flaw was street parking which was quite challenging on a holiday weekend. Overall we highly recommend this lovely location.

Enjoyed our stay

Great place to stay for 4 or less people. The home is neat and clean and well supplied. Pay attention to the parking signs concerning street cleaning, they are quick to ticket a vehicle that does not have a PA plate.

What a Gem!

This is the first time we have ever used VRBO, and we were pleasantly surprised. The property was just as listed. The place was absolutely adorable, and the central location of it made it perfect. Dealing with the host was such a breeze, and she was fabulous! We would definitely rent here again!

Beautiful Place

Our rental was very nicely decorated and kept. For being an older home, it has been nicely updated. The communication with the owner was easy, and helpful. The location was also a perfect spot for walking around. Parking was a little difficult at times, and it was very hot on the first floor even with the air conditioning. However, that is not surprising due to it being a window unit only and it was very hot outside. The other floors were very comfortable temperature wise and other wise. Overall, it was a great place and I would recommend it to others.

House & Parking

The picture of the house was nothing like the actual house. The parking was absolutely horrible. It was hard to find a place to park. I am 75, my sister is 80 and my brother is 66. Didn't know we would have to walk a half mile to get to our place every time we left and came back. I think each house should be assigned a parking place. Other than that our vacation was good.

Very clean, great location

Location of property was fantastic; we rarely had to use a car. Communication with the owner was good and everything was spotless. We appreciated the coffee selection and the Milano cookies left for us. :) The only note I would make is that the stairs inside are very steep and narrow, which might be an issue for some older people or others with balance issues. But we had a great time!

And to Think That I Saw it on Mulberry Street

From booking to checkout, this was a great experience. As a former resident of Lancaster, I enjoyed the close proximity of the house to all my favorite downtown locations (including Fulton School, my first teaching job). The house was well-appointed with everything we needed to have a lovely stay (including olive oil that I didn't even realize I needed until I was cooking!) Thanks, Linda, for a lovely stay!

Great location for weekend trip

We needed a place for a quick weekend trip and this was a great find. Lots of thoughtful amenities (coffee, tea, toiletries, etc) and comfortable. Within walking distance to several great shops and restaurants. Only con that should be made clear is the steps to the 2nd and 3rd levels are quite steep. My elderly mother had a difficult time navigating. Overall great stay and the communication with Linda was good.

Enjoyed our stay

We came to stay here to see our daughter graduate from F&M. The house was close to campus and it was a cute little spot. It had everything that you could ask for. We definitely enjoyed our time there and would stay there again if we ever came back to Lancaster.
