Great stay

Travis was extremely accommodating and made sure everything was perfect. I cant see the negative reviews. This is a clean, nice neighborhood and house. We come several times a year and this is our favorite now. Thanks again travis

Weekend getaway

Property was well maintained and had easy access to interstate; additionally, host was easy to contact. The only issues were the fourth bedroom had only a crib and had to go buy coffee mugs and utensils. Would stay again though in the future.

There were utensils in the drawer below the coffee pot, and there are coffee mugs in the cabinet above the coffee pot. Also, there was a queen sized air mattress in the closet of the children's room that is photographed in the listing. Hopefully this helps if you decide to stay again.

Ok stay

Overall the house is nice and clean. The description of the bedrooms doesn't quite much. Instead of twinn Murphy bed there is a crib and air mattress. The communication with the host was easy.

Fun times

The house was nice, coffee pot was broken so we had to door dash coffee every morning which was costly. And 2 people left things behind and I tried contacting host after we arrived home and he did not get back to us. He was helpful and easy to get in touch with leading up to our trip. And he allowed us to access the house early. Overall good place to stay. Neighborhood was nice. We did a lot of walking around, enjoying the weather and views.

Cancelled on us 10 minutes after check-in time!

I cannot express how much you need to stay away from this rental. I paid in full a YEAR before our stay. The owner messaged, and I assured him that we intended for the stay to be a year out. I was sent the address two days before our stay, so I thought we were good to go. When I still had not received check in information by 4, I messaged the owner. I did not hear back, so I called. The number they have on file is NOT the owner’s, but he told me he would call the owner. 5 minutes later I got an email saying that our reservation had been canceled. At this point, we were a hour away from the destination. This was during the weekend of the Taylor Swift concert, so there were ZERO places for us to stay that weren’t an astronomical price. I was on the phone for 3 hours with VRBO trying to find a place where the 8 of us could stay. THIS RENTAL SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM VRBO FOR SUCH SHADY PRACTICES. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Unclean-Lived-in

We felt safe in the neighborhood, which was why we stayed, but it is about 40 minutes from NO. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area. This isn't a home that is a dedicated VRBO. They moved out their clothing from drawers, but locked the closet so there is not any hanging space for clothing in the master bedroom. The master bed squeaks when you touch it, turning over in the night will wake your spouse. The pillows are wafer thin. Condoms and medication were left in the nightstand. The linens fit loosely on the mattresses without covers. There isn't any space in the master bathroom to put your items away, because the owner's items are placed...it was messy. There were only 2 towels in the master bath that were tattered. There was hair all over the bathroom, but at least the shower was clean. There is not a hair dryer. I saw the coffee maker was broken in another review and thought it would have been resolved. A coffee maker is a must for a VRBO. They only have 2 coffee cups. There isn't any coffee, only tea bags. The kitchen pantry and fridge are stocked with the homeowner's food. There is plenty of cookware to cook and plenty of spices. There are dishwasher pods, garbage bags, and laundry soap. The fridge was not clean. I cleaned some of the cupboards where food was spilled. There is a camera in the laundry room, which is completely inappropriate. The carpets were vacuumed poorly. There are 6 of us and only one couch, no kitchen table. It's dirty.
