This property was so amazing. We came out for the Jazz Festival and this property had everything we need. The screened in-porch was the highly of our trip and we are looking for to staying here again next year for the Jazz festival.

When preparing for our trip I asked the host questions and she always responded quickly. Finding the home was easy and it was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being able to fish and crab right off the dock. The water was rough for most of our stay, so we did not swim in the lake. Depending on traffic the house is 30-40 mins from downtown New Orleans and 15 mins to Slidel which is a nice town that has plenty of grocery store and restaurant options. We have rented several homes through sites over the years and always appreciate owners willing to share their homes with us!

Celebration of Life

Great place to gather with family and friends. Beautiful view of Lake Catherine. Fishing, bird watching and relaxing on the deck was enjoyed by all. The accommodations were top notch. We will be back to enjoy the Purple Perch.

Everything was perfect. The description and photos do no justice. It was beautiful and serene. The the kids fished most of the time. When they weren’t, there were games available to play. We will be back!

Birthday Celebration

Beautiful Place. Well appointed. Lots of room. Will rent again at a different time of year. The wind blows across Lake St. Catherine in late April consistently and made it hard to fish and crab. I never put my boat in the water. :(
