Welcome to Coastal Cottage, a beautiful 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom vacation home that sleeps up to 10 guests, perfectly located in the desirable Pirates Beach neighborhood on Galveston’s West End. Just four houses from the beach, this home offers easy access to sun, sand, and surf while still being close to Galveston's best attractions.

Relax on the spacious deck with partial beach views and plenty of outdoor seating—ideal for sipping morning coffee, dining al fresco, or enjoying evening cocktails under the coastal sky. A charcoal BBQ grill is provided for outdoor meals, and the peaceful beach is just a two-minute stroll away, making it easy to spend your days by the water.

Inside, Coastal Cottage is full of beachy charm and comfort. The main level welcomes you with a bright and open living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining table for eight, with extra seating at the bar top. This level features a private king bedroom with its own full bath, plus two additional queen bedrooms that share a hallway bathroom. The downstairs level includes a spacious bonus room with a queen bed and twin bunk beds—perfect for kids or extra guests—as well as a third full bathroom and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.

Great stay, great location, and beautiful beach house!

Excellent stay! Only problem was the WiFi/internet was working, but it was nice to be disconnected for the weekend! We would def recommend!

Great place for our family beach getaway!

Great location and layout for our family beach get together. There were three sets of families and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked all our meals together there. We were super close to the beach and had a nice view from the balcony.

Great location and beautiful home

We loved this place - we came as two families with young kids and we fit easily in this house The location to the beach was ideal. We want to rent this place again!

The property is a great location but the home needed some repair. One blind was down and another broken. A few dirty dishes and the screen door sitting on the porch. I expected more for the price. It was difficult to get hold of the property management but when we did, we were able to get the key for the downstairs room for which instructions were not given to us ahead of time.

Great property

Loved being so close to beach. The house was awesome and stocked with all the conveniences of home. The downstairs room was a little warm but tolerable. Wish there was more than 1 bath towel per person but we made it work. Loved our week here.

Annual family beach holiday

The natural daylight pours into the main room. There is plenty of room, seating for games, dining or TV. The downstairs family bedroom was perfect for grandchildren with early bedtimes and early risers. We’ll be back!

What a gem!

Gorgeous ocean views from the master bedroom and front deck yet shielded from the wind by the home next door. Beautifully decorated. The living room is large and the oversized couch and various dining areas are perfect for the whole family. Kitchen is very well appointed with all you will need - in fact we hosted Thanksgiving dinner and wanted for nothing. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect! The home was exactly what we expected (and more) with three bedrooms upstairs and a lower-level bedroom (separate entrance with couch, bathroom, laundry, etc.) that our 16 and 18-year-olds loved.. Woke in the morning, had coffee on the deck, and a walk on the beach (only a few houses down the street). Just wished we could stay longer. Great communication from the local management company, Gary Greene Vacation Rentals. Highly recommend and if we're ever back to Galveston we won't hesitate to book again!

Memories Made

The house was beautiful and in the absolute perfect location-seconds from the beach. Everything was comfortable and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook. We had a lot of fun at the beach (until the Tropical Storm Alberto decided to show up!). We left before the worst of the storm came through. The only complaint was that the bottom floor living quarters was extremely warm. You might consider a window unit or additional AC unit for that area. Other than that, we hope to stay there again!! Thank you for opening your home to our family!!

Cozy Coastal Cottage!

The house was exactly as it looked online. Clean, bright and plenty of room for my family of six. My boys loved their own “apartment” downstairs. We made great meals in the fully stocked kitchen and ate in the cozy kitchen nook. We played board games at night sitting around the sofa. And the beach was so close! We spent our days in the sun, swimming in the waves and building sandcastles in the sand. We couldn’t have loved it more! The only “negative” thing about the house were that the bedrooms were a bit cozy (I.e. on the small side). Except for the Primary Room of course. But we didn’t mind at all. We would definitely stay again!

Summer stay

The house is awesome and super close to beach. The downstairs play room was great for the kids. Only feedback for a more comfortable stay was to have a few more trash bags and wash rags for kitchen utensils. We ran out halfway through our stay. Other piece of feedback was the patio under the house outside the ground floor room was not consistent with light at night. The motion sensor wouldn’t stay on for too long and wouldn’t always catch out movement. If there were string lights hanging or a single light that stayed on, then that could have helped the kids. Little bits but otherwise the house was awesome and wouldn’t mind staying there again.

Rough around the edges

Pictures are very misleading of this property. The cover photo they use is part of the balcony we couldn’t access because someone removed the screen door and left it laying on the patio with exposed nails. Not good for curious 1 year olds and 3 year olds. We found broken glass in several spots downstairs. Not acceptable with 3 kids under 6 running around. There is a ring door bell camera flood lights that went off at night every 4-5 minutes and would stay one for about 45 seconds to a minute and turn off. The lower unit guests could hardly sleep because of it. The lower unit refrigerator didn’t work. All of the beds are hard as a rock, not comfortable at all. Also, when you spend 3000 to rent a place, provide more than 1 roll of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels and more than 1 trash bag for 7 people. The house has been partially updated, but furniture was old and dirty(couch inside). It almost felt like someone left right before we got there that was staying in the unit. One closest had a bunch of personal belongings and a full suitcase. It was all very confusing and disappointing, especially for the price. The only plus is you’re a stones throw away from the beach, so if you don’t care about anything else than this place is for you.

Upstairs was nice

The downstairs area is really not suitable... concrete painted floors and a very small shower. We did ok but it was not comfortable sleeping with fans. The upsriarsbwas very cool and comfortable but downstairs does not have adequate ac and the bed with no support sags. Upstairs was pleasant and as pictured.. Would not tent again if downstairs area was needed.

Great location but 2 separate living areas

The house is a minute walk to the beach which was the best part of the house. The kitchen is nice and big, and the living room area very comfortable. The main part of the house has 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and living room. Then the downstairs part of the house is the “4th” bedroom but it’s actually a completely separate living area. It rained heavily and for the people staying downstairs, my husband and son, they had to get wet or bring their umbrella to stay dry. It also has little to no ac downstairs and the one floor fan provided wasn’t enough so we bought one. There is also a massive mosquito problem at the house and everyone was bitten several times. It was unfortunate because we couldn’t enjoy the lovely patio and balcony area. They need to invest in something to deal with them as several houses around us had people outside during the evening hours without this issue. Overall the house was really great because of the location and we would stay again if the mosquito issue is dealt with and our kids were older (teens) and could stay downstairs by themselves.

Beautiful Cottage near the beach!!

The cottage was a good size and decorated nicely. It was perfect size for us. The beach was only a few steps away. We had nice views of the ocean. The management company was great to work with. They accommodated us with our needs. We all had a good time and loved the cottage. Thank you.

little disappointed

We had a good time at the property even we started not so good I had to call the rental so they could give me the code to enter the house they said they would email and text the code at 3pm and nothing i had to call them so we could get the code and enter the home. Second the downstairs room its big but it had a fruit flys problem they were everywhere very disappointing also the second day we were there we went out for breakfast and we lock every door and when we come back the down stais room was unlocked minutes later the cleaning lady show up to put the garbage cans inside the property we're not sure if shes the one that went insidebut thats something we really didn't like 👎. The upstairs home was beautiful big and clean kitchen was fantastic and view was amazing.We problably won't rent the same house again.
