Wonderful Vacation Rental Townhome#7 Available for Rent at the Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club! This beautiful townhome has an incredible location, only a few steps away from the Black Sand Beach on site!

Featuring 2 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, a beautiful option for your Hawaii Vacation! Fully remodeled throughout, Air Conditioning in unit. This amenity is an additional $25.00 per night. This charge is automatically added to your bill upon booking. If you would prefer to not have AC please inform a written request to have this amenity and charge removed from your bill.

King Sized Bed in the Master Bedroom, & 2 Twin Sized Beds in the Second Bedroom! Beach gear available for guests to use!

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large, remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.

One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.

The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.

There were beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, tennis rackets, beach towels, and 2 small coolers which we really appreciated being able to use. pickleball courts were in great shape. We could see the ocean through the greenery from the lanai and it was an easy walk to the beach. It is a rocky beach, not really a swimming beach but it's the ocean! Lots of things to do in easy driving distance - downtown Kona is a 10-15 min drive. There is a great farmer's market 1/2 mile away on Saturdays. Great golf just 5 minutes away. We would stay here again.

The living spaces and bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, including basic food items like coffee, sugar, oil and spices. We were delighted with the supply of beach gear (snorkels, chairs, mats, umbrellas, boogie boards) that made our outings on the island easy to manage and fun. The location of the condo was great - we could easily venture north to the Kona shopping areas and north island beaches. The Keauhou shopping center, which includes a cinema, bookstore, restaurants and grocery story, was right up the road. We would stay here again!

South Kona Vacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Generally a nice place. The location for us required a fair amount of driving places each day. As to the property, we thought that one pool for the size of the development was somewhat inadequate, and would be great to have wifi at the pool, and more umbrellas. The adjacent beach was good, and provided beach access that the property really doesn't. Was disappointed with no recycling system to be found, and the provisions in the place (such as TP, paper towels, salt & pepper), were inadequate (and seemed to require owner approval to provide more!?!?). The couch was a bit saggy. So generally, we were expecting a place with its amenities, to be of a higher quality.

The location was amazing- steps from the beach to watch sunset and a 10 minute walk to groceries and shopping. There were boogie boards, snorkel gear, tennis rackets and board games to keep us all entertained. The grounds are well kept, including the pool. Would stay here again!

Our VRBO unit was part of that, it easily accommodated all four of us, was clean and well maintained. It's located right on the ocean and about ten minutes from Kona. Definitely one to consider!

This place is the best for a family! The location is great! There’s one of the best markets just 1/2 mile away. At sunset, 20 steps away there’s basically a huge private beach where you can enjoy the sunset alone. The pool is nice and good enough to actually swim in. If you love snorkeling beach is just a 5 minute walk from this location! The condo was very kept up, clean, sit on the lanai and enjoy the outside sounds. Will definitely stay here again!

Good mid-range unit

Nice mid-range unit located in a nice area of the island. Not too far from the airport, close to all the shops and restaurants in Kona and reasonable drive to Volcano. Not a luxurious high-end unit, but fine for what it is.

Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed our condo but management didn't follow-up on broken screen and window that prevented us from opening patio door to allow breezes (i.e., mosquitos and other bugs could come inside too). Perhaps we should have demanded air conditioning compensation but we were on vacation and not in the mood to haggle. Master bathroom recently updated but shower door not sealed to prevent water leakage. Also, kitchen cooking supplies were a little sparse. Property grounds were gorgeous and location were central to everything.

There is beach access with a quiet beach that is great for swimming. The unit had all of the amenities that we could have needed. There is a supermarket and restaurants within walking distance. Black Sand Beach Steps Away

Knutson & Associates miraculously found us a wonderful property that fit all of our needs within our budget. KKSR#7 was well appointed and clean even to our picky standards. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our multi-course adventure sustaining breakfasts. We enjoyed being close to restaurants and shopping along Alii Dr but in a quiet and relaxing resort. The best part was it took less than a minute to step out to the black sand beach and watch the gorgeous sunsets. Thank you Blake and Team for making our stay special.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is well equipped for your stay! Electric tea kettle, Coffee pot, some spices, washer, dryer and dishwasher. There are beach items in a storage bin out back, that we discovered the last day there. Even in March, A/C would be a recommendation, as upstairs bedrooms can get warm quickly. Bedrooms are upstairs, so if you have difficulty with stairs this should be considered. Beds were very comfy and there are plenty of towels, including nice beach ones!

Great place to use as a central point

We stayed here - close to my dad's storage unit. We were able to go there in about 15 minutes to clean out the unit. Worked out great.

Beautiful Condo!

We spent 8 days at this lovely townhouse. We love the Surf & Racquet complex and have stayed in various units over the years that we've come to Kona. This one is a gem - just steps from the beach to watch the sunset, and the front and back doors look out to lush greenery! The condo was well-equipped for our family of 3. We appreciated the air conditioning units at night and happily paid the extra fee to be able to take down the temperature a few degrees and sleep more comfortably. We had a question and the management responded very quickly. Super impressed with their communication and thorough instructions!

Beds were comfortable enough. Both bathrooms were well maintained and modern. The only two issues the AC upstairs did not work to our standards. And the microwave and toaster oven and a couple of outlets didn't work. I texted and emailed the management company early in our stay and they never addressed either issue. That was disappointing.
