Quaint 1940's Happy Beach Cottage sleeps 8

Welcome to our 1940’s beach cottage loaded with tons of character for your next cozy vacation getaway. Our home is located in the quaint neighborhood of Ocean Vue Gardens and is located approximately 4 blocks to the beach entrance, 1/2 mile to some favorite island eateries, and less than 2 miles to the village/pier area.

THE SPACE
Relaxing areas include a large screened in front porch, open back porch with fenced in back yard, a seating area in the front of the home with a TV and family room in the back of the home with TV.

Upon entering the front door, you will find lovely hardwood floors, a 48” TV and vaulted ceiling. This living area has a sofa and loveseat which is open to the dining area and kitchen. The fireplace pictured is nonfunctional and must not be used.

In the galley style kitchen is an eating table with 4 chairs, a Keurig coffee maker, completely stocked kitchenware, microwave, toaster, refrigerator and dishwasher. A step down into the butler's pantry you will find a stackable washer/dryer.

The back family room has a large harvest table under a unique oyster shell chandelier with bench seating. This room also has a sectional sofa with a 50” TV.

Outside the family room is a generous sized gathering deck and a gas grill.

Bedroom layout:

The sleeping-side of the cottage has a built-in desk, bookshelves, guest bath, step-in shower, with glass-sliding door.

Blue Room – Primary Suite, Queen Bed 32” TV, ensuite bath with barn door entry, shower and single sink

Twin Room – 2 single beds, sleeps 2, 32”TV, share with hall bathroom with combo/tub shower

Bunk Room – 2 single bunks, sleeps 4, 32” TV, share with hall bathroom with combo/tub shower. Note this room is designed for the kids - it's a small room with a small closet and no windows -great for sleeping but not meant to be accommodation for adults.

We're located mid-beach - halfway between the St Simons Pier Village and East Beach. This stretch of beach is not tide dependent and has plenty of walking distance in both directions. We're walking distance to local restaurant favorites like Crab Daddy's, Barrier Island Brewing, Fiddlers, and Porch.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surcharges attached to your reservation.

Pets: This home is dog friendly with $250 pet fee, 2 dogs max. Unfortunately we can't host breeds known to insurance carriers as 'vicious', please ask if you're not sure.

No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.

Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend (last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.

No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
