Welcome to Carolyn's by the Sea!

Location! Here you will find that you are about 1/2 mile to the beach and 1/2 mile to the Pier/Village area. Close to all the action yet you will be tucked in to a quiet subdivision. Located right of Demere Road, you are in a great south Island location.

Carolyn's by the Sea features a large great room, updated kitchen and three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms - two with king beds, one with a queen. Nicely appointed furniture and décor throughout the house will help you ease into vacation mode as the stresses melt away. Enjoy the lovely screened-in back porch, back deck with grill, or just grab a chair to relax on the large front porch equipped with ceiling fans.

The house sits on a large lot with a garage located behind the house.

Come stay a while at Carolyn's by the Sea located at 114 Seaside Circle, St. Simons Island, Georgia.

CHECK IN: 4:00 pm CHECK OUT: 10:00 am

Occupancy: 6 - Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (6 persons).

Pets: Up to two (2) dogs allowed with a $100/per pup non-refundable fee.

Parking: Parking is available for up to 3 vehicles in the driveway. No more than 3 cars at any time. No trailers allowed.

Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families.

Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a Starting Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags (Any additional supplies needed during tenancy will be the responsibility of the guest.)

Great For Families!

It's rare to find a rental that exceeds expectations, but this place did. We loved the quiet street, large front porch, and spacious living areas. We would happily stay here again!

The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, tucked away on a cul-de-sac with no traffic, which made it feel very relaxing. The neighbors were all friendly and welcoming.One of our favorite things about the house was that each of the three bedrooms has its own private bathroom and TV, which was a huge plus. The vaulted ceilings made the space feel open and comfortable, and the fully stocked kitchen made cooking easy and enjoyable. The location is hard to beat — the beach is an easy walk (less than half a mile), and we could also walk to the pier in under a mile.The Real Escapes staff was fantastic. They were incredibly responsive and helped with anything we needed right away, always with a smile. We would absolutely rent through Real Escapes again when we visit Saint Simons Island. Highly recommend!

Great beach getaway

Caroline’s was so pretty, plenty of room and in a great location with a short walk to the beach. Easy drive over to Jekyll Island. We brought our dogs along and found St Simons to be very dog friendly. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. The front porch was great for your morning coffee drinking too.

Great location to walk to beach and village!

Great property! Bedrooms each with their own bath was perfect for our group of 5 (adults and teens). Loved being able to walk to the beach and also the village. The screened porch was great to relax and read.

The house is beautiful and in a fantastic location. It is clear the owners care about the property and are working on improvements, but as it is, we loved it. The layout is lovely and we loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom. We noticed there were not a ton of utensils, especially forks, but for our family it was not a problem. The front porch is fantastic as well as the screened porch. The water pressure in the master is heavenly after a beach day. Thank you for sharing your home.

Overall this was a great place to stay. A fairly quick walk to both the beach and the village. The kitchen was well stocked, which we really appreciated. The office is only open Mon-Fri, so the response is slightly delayed for non-urgent questions.

Enjoyable Stay

The property is in a great location near restaurants and beaches. Great neighborhood. The house with three large bedrooms and three large bathrooms was accommodating along with the open concept of the living room, kitchen and dining area. Exactly what we were looking for. Great home. The only criticism: master bedroom carpet had a number of large stains.

Great location, comfortable stay for SSI friends reunion

Easily walkable to the main village area and very spacious/comfortable! While we appreciate the cleanliness, our only complaint was the almost unbearable bleach smell upon our arrival that unfortunately lingered throughout the stay. Would be cautious if you are very sensitive to smells.

Great location, dog friendly too!

My husband, baby, and in laws stayed here for a long weekend and couldn’t have had a better time. Lovely front porch and screened in back porch, spacious living space with high ceilings. Location was ideal- just a 15 minute walk from all the shops and restaurants near the pier and a quick walk to the public beach. We hardly used our car while on SSI! We loved being able to bring our dogs with us too!

The floorplan is excellent, the 2 chairs in the Great Room are fantastic! Wish I knew where to get them. And the front porch was heavenly, so comfortable.On the down side: the house could have been cleaner, or perhaps it was just it's age showing. My biggest complaint is the bath towels. There were no extras. Only one hand towel to a bath. And the washcloths were frayed and thin. At home, these would be used as rags. And one was so gray looking, we didn't use it. Also, the tv in the Master was not working. It appeared to have no power to it. Our son who was staying at another location tried to find the problem also with no luck. I wonder if a manager checks out the rentals before the next guest arrives. I know that Lighthouse Rentals does that. Nice house but could have been better with a little extra care. You ask about the management company: we arrived on a Sunday and left on a Saturday so we never saw a person. We did not call about the tv or washcloths, just made due. Would I recommend this house? Yes, with conditions.

We loved this home! It's bright and comfortable, with plenty of space for our needs. Most importantly, it's immaculate. The location is great - you can walk into town to shop, dine, or stroll by the water. We were very thankful the owner allows fur babies to stay and ours had a wonderful time. The rental agency, Real Escapes, was very helpful and absolutely gracious. That isn't always the case and we were pleasantly surprised and grateful. We will definitely return to SSI and are glad to have established a relationship with such a professional and personable agency.

Each of us had our own bedroom and bathroom. We made a few simple things, but enjoyed eating at the variety of local restaurants. Walking into town was easy, as was the short walk to the beach.
