A quiet dwelling with a view to Lake Erie from the deck. You will be about fifteen minutes to Chautauqua Institute. It is less than a mile to the marina. Just a short walk to Barcelona beach. Located in beautiful Chautauqua County right in the middle of the wine tour. Some of the most beautiful sunsets are over Lake Erie you will be able to enjoy. A good chance to see a bald eagle fly overhead. Plenty of fine places to eat with a tiki bar close by.

Get Away

We went for a few days for some R and R. The cottage is so cute and clean. It was bigger and nicer than i thought. Perfect for a long weekend. Easy walk to the lake. Dave was great. Thank you

This is our second time staying at Dave's place. We always enjoy ourselves there. The Lake Erie weather can be iffy, but there's lots to do in the area. The rental is a very short walk to the beach. If you're looking for a little place tucked away in the woods, but close to everything, this is the place to stay. Thank you Dave!-Jeff & Missy

Excellent again!

This location is just perfect for us! The short walk out to the beautiful beach area, and the comfortable accommodations make this a perfect place to rejuvenate! Our host Dave was just as amazing as he was on our first visit. We will definitely visit again.

A slice of heaven

My wife and i were both impressed. The owner Dave is awesome. The house is great. A short walk thru the woods to an awesome semi private beach. We will be back.

Peaceful Getaway

The property was in a very serene location and was peaceful and quiet. Everything was clean and the kitchen was adequately stocked. The bedroom was adequate and the bed was comfy. The walk to the beach was a little rougher than expected. Beautiful wine country with lots of wineries within a reasonable drive. Our host was polite and answered all questions in a reasonable amount of time. oeaceful

Nice peaceful retreat

My wife and I and two small kids stayed here while visiting family in the area. The place was just big enough for the four of us and provided the amenities we needed. The kitchen had all the utensils to makes meals if you brought food to cook. The bathroom could use some updating, but it was clean with plenty of towels. The host was very responsive is we needed anytime. The lake is right out the back door and a short walk though the woods, it was a very cool experience. Overall it was a great value and we enjoyed our time here..

Great long weekend getaway.

Nice place that has everything you need. Located right next to the lake and we could hear the waves all night long. Very relaxing. So many things to do in the area too. Dave was available if we needed anything. Very nice host. If we're in the area again, we will definitely stay here.

Perfect quaint apartment that’s hidden in the trees yet still very close to town and just a walk to the lake. For someone who loves the woods and the beach, this location is for you. Dave was very kind during our stay and helpful since I wasn’t familiar with the area. The apartment was extremely clean as well. Will definitely consider coming back!

Truly A Serene location!

I recently stayed at Dave’s place with my pet dog and friend and we loved the overall experience and our time there.beach was 2 min walk from the backyard and we could hear the waves at night. Felt like private beach with only locals/ neighbors there occasionally. Dave was very helpful in proving us with local information and best places for food and wine. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean. I highly recommend his Apartment if you are looking for some peaceful time by the beach which isn’t crowded and allows your pet to have fun too.

Perfect place for some R & R and a little fishing

The apartment is very private and has a seasonal view toward Lake Erie. Private deck and loved drinking coffee in the morning from the deck while watching the birds (even saw a pair of eagles). Nice restaurants nearby in Westfield, and a short walk to Lake Erie. 20-25 minutes to Chautauqua Institution. I loved my week there and will definitely back.

Private and peaceful

If you are looking for a peaceful space short walk to lake Erie? This is the place for you. Close to winery trail and a few good restaurants. This quaint apartment is exactly what is advertised. My husband and I enjoyed a quiet time together with the sounds of narure. Would live to stay again. The owner was very welcoming and respectful. Enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Anniversary Trip

Secluded, but people near, very quiet. Property was clean, and sufficient. We had everything we needed. The walk to the beach was a little challenging due to having both knees replaced, but the railings were so helpful! We spent a lot of time on the deck and at the beach, which were probably the best features!

No what I expected

The stairs were very steep and the lighting at night was poor getting up to them. The property was set in the back and you had to back up to get out. Doors creek when opening them and the bathroom needs updating. Limited stuff in the kitchen. Basically the unit needs updating. I wouldn’t recommend this property.

Magical stay on Lake Erie

Dave is a welcoming host who made our stay perfect. Follow a path through the beautiful woods to a quiet and serene beach. The cabin is clean with plenty of room and everything you need for a get away. Thank you Dave!

Wonderful..

We absolutely loved our stay! It was so peaceful and the lake access//beach was super easy to navigate. The apartment was clean and really comfortable. Dave even shared fresh tomatoes and peppers with us! We look forward to staying there again soon.
