San Diego Getaway

We loved her stay at this home! The Owner was very pleasant and very easy to work with. The description was very accurate. We will definitely be coming back when we visit again. 10 out of 10 recommend staying here.

Clean and super functional

This was such a nice vacation spot for my big family. It comfortably accommodated 13 family members including kids and teenagers. We had such a blast exploring San Diego for a week. The houses are linked together but gave everybody room to spread out and relax between adventures. The hot tub came in handy as well as the outdoor propane grill. We would love to come back and reserve this location again for next time!

Great for Families!

We stayed with a group of family members (adults, kids and infants). We loved that the property is private and gated. Also, so many rooms allowed for each family to have some privacy. There were minor issues with the property. The showers were a tad problematic and drained slowly and handles were really tough to move. The front door electronic pad only worked occasionally which caused issues with the group being able to get in and out. The floors definitely needed mopping but these were minor compared to the overall stay. The outdoor patio was awesome for spending time together and the grilling, tv and fire pit area were an great addition.

3 star pretending to be a 5 star

There were a number of broken and missing items in this home. When we arrived, one of the toilets was broken. Kevin sent a handyman the following day. We hoped that the rest of the visit in this home would be relaxing but the first time we ran the dishwasher, it spewed water into the sink, across the counter and onto the floor. The garbage disposal was broken. The towel racks in the main bathroom were broken/missing. The shower handles were very hard to turn and both of the shower curtain rods fell when we opened the shower curtains. The fridge light was burnt out. The carbon monoxide detector was missing. One of the outdoor chairs was missing (a big deal when we need all 6 chairs for our family of 6). I communicated with Kevin and he asked me to make a list of everything wrong with the house. The list was 2 pages long. He sent a handyman the next day and Chris was able to fix many of the issues but there were other issues he couldn't fix (warped window in the family room that wouldn't close all the way and wouldn't lock, missing outdoor chair, shower handles, vanity in the main bath etc.). Based on the inconvenience of having the home in a state of disrepair (a fact Kevin and Chris blamed on partiers) and the number of issues that weren't able to be fixed, including the front window which couldn't lock, I asked for a 20% discount on our stay but Kevin did not reply. I was also offered a $50 Amazon gift card for a 5 star review by one of the co-hosts of this property.

San Diego Thanksgiving

This location was ideally located for all the places we wanted to visit- SD Zoo , Hotel Corronado, Corronado Golf Course, The Cave, Barona Casino. Close to grocery stores , Starbucks and a CVS. The rooms had very comfy beds and the property had a private feel. The outdoor spaces were enjoying by our family. The property is well equipped. The showers handles were hard to move around and the master shower did not drain well. Other than that we had no issues in the house. I would suggest adding more details to the location - we had trouble finding the place to begin our stay. Look for the red mailbox and the wooden fence. All 13 members of my family enjoyed the stay. Thank you !
