The Beach House

Beautiful spacious one bedroom house above Moonstone beach. Enjoy sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, Clam Beach and Little river from every room of this warm south facing spot. Tasteful furnishing , large open floor plan kitchen/ living area and private hot tub creates a perfect environment for a romantic getaway.
This home is located on a secluded street that is an easy walk to the beach, Camel Rock or a great meal at Moonstone Grill. From this amazing vantage point you will be entertained by the daily tidal shift of the ocean and river, spectacular sunrises and sunsets, many beachgoers, surfers, whale or bird watching, and sweet weddings at Moonstone beach. It sits just above the Moonstone Beach House venue which hosts private events throughout the summer.
This one bedroom , one and a half bath home is perfect for a couple. Guests must be 25 years or older, this home is not pet friendly or appropriate for children. No parties allowed. The property has a guesthouse one bedroom /bath available to rent for additional $200 /NT total of 4 people . Please note in inquiry if interested.

Great Place to Stay

The Beach House was situated above Moonstone beach where there was lots of entertaining activity. The house was luxurious and had all the amenities. We enjoyed our time there.

Wonderful stay

This home is just what we were looking for: great views, easy access to the beach - very quick drive or five minute walk and all the amenities we look for in a vacation rental. Home owner was responsive and provided helpful tips. Hope to come again!

Amazing Getaway

This property was just as stunning as the pictures show. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the ocean waves crash into the beach! Great location with easy access to multiple beaches, National Parks, and the town of Trinidad. We are already searching our calendar for a time we can visit again.

Very well appointed house with incredible views. Shore provided a welcoming atmosphere and fresh cut Dahlias. All the furniture and decor was tasteful and comforting. Well located for seeing the Redwoods and the Coast. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable custom home with everything you would need. Great to cook in as the kitchen was fully equipped. Very nice back deck with amazing view and the location is perfect. Entire process was first class.Will definitely consider a return trip

Excellent property in an idyllic location.

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Communication with host was easy as was check-in and check-out. No complaints at all about the house. Fair warning - door dashers have trouble finding it. A plus for how beautifully secluded it is but a problem if you order food. I can’t wait to stay there again in the future!

Amazing House Overlooking Moonstone and Clam Beaches!

This house definitely met our expectations! It was clean, well stocked, and nicely decorated. It was also convenient to hiking in the Redwood National and State Parks. The hosts were available and very responsive to any and all questions. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a nice, quiet, scenic coastal get-away to Northern California! :)

What a wonderful weekend!

We LOVED absolutely everything about our stay at this beach house! The house itself is beautifully designed and decorated, the furniture is comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed! The view of Moonstone Beach and the Little River was incredible! It felt like we could walk the beach forever after crossing Little River at low tide (or getting a little wetter at higher tide). We loved the easy access to the Redwoods National and State Parks and the cute towns of Arcada and Trinidad. We'd love to come back soon!

Moonstone Beach Nirvana

House was amazing. All the comforts and more. View was even more amazing. Short drives to the Redwoods, dining and amazing hikes. Just wish we had more time there. Would love to return. Private road. Only sounds were the ocean. And an occasional wren.

Weekend Getaway

The Beach House is a great place to experience California’s north coast. The home is clean and the furnishings are comfortable. We were greeted with fresh cut flowers and an amazing coastal view through the large windows overlooking Moonstone and Clam Beaches. We experienced some amazing sunny weather and enjoyed our morning coffees and evening cocktails on the deck with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Thank you Shore for your hospitality and the text asking if we needed anything. We are planning on returning in the future.

Beautiful home with breathtaking beach view

This beach home was the loveliest VRBO property I have ever stayed in! This custom-built home has a beautiful wood interior, built-in drawers, lots of closet space, and a comfortable bed. It was beautifully furnished, and the kitchen had everything you could think of. It is a perfect getaway for a couple as it has one bedroom. The owner was very helpful, nice, & communicative. My only recommendations are a step-stool for the kitchen to reach some glasses and a few more window screens as we had a few bees we needed to shoo away! But I'd come back again if I could next week! Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful California Coast home

Beautiful home with an even more beautiful view of the coast. Would stay again. My only complaint was the hot tub was off and cold when I went to use it. I was really looking forward to a nice relaxing soak after hiking for four days but it was off and I didn’t want the hassle of calling the owners. For the price I paid it is expected that things like this work when you arrive.

Hi Matthew , I am so sorry this happened. Unfortunately the landscaping team had been there the day before trimming the hedge below the house and must have pulled the power plug out by accident.
