Decent Property/Nightmare Property Mgmt
The property:
The condo was decent. Mostly clean, bathrooms were a little grimy, dishes not clean, and was a layer of dust on the entertainment center.
Beds weren't great, unless you like very soft mattresses. You can hear the springs as you sit on them.
Location was about 3 miles north of the sky wheel and the boardwalk, removed from hustle and bustle yet close enough to still enjoy that if we wanted.
Property Mgmt:
Received a lengthy rental agreement in the days leading up to visit. Failure to sign, would have resulted in cancelation fees detailed in the agreement. Prior to check-in, I had to send photographs of my driver's license, credit card (front and back) and a photo of me holding both. We were sent the code to the door at 4:01 pm. If you ask for early check-in, expect to pay for it.
The condo was under construction. The hot water heater does not supply enough for 8 people to shower and takes 12 hours to refill. We complained when noise became unbearable and after hot water failed. The mgmt told us we waited too long to complain. They refused to discuss and insisted on text msg. They were not responsive and just told us to look at the rental agreement.
Lastly, they tried to charge me for a non-existent carpet stain. When I called, they got off the phone asap and went back to text. Never found out where stain was or what it looked like. A nice vacation ruined by having to fight with a ridiculous mgmt company. Good luck if you use Big Fish Rntl
