Make memories with your loved ones at this two-bedroom, two-bathroom iconic saltbox-style home – just minutes from the beach! Bring your toothbrush and clothes and we’ll do the rest – vacation: simplified!

From early-morning sunrises to stunning sunsets to close out a day on the sand, you can take it all in from the comfort of this home! Enjoy a beverage and watch your pups play from our oversized decks on each side of the unit!

The saltbox (Forever Paradise: Unit #2) features a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and its own private bath. The second bedroom has a double-sized bed with its own private bathroom as well. In addition, the unit offers a well-equipped kitchen, three (3) flat-screen TVs, shared washer and dryer, cable, and internet, and beautiful patio furniture. The property boasts close proximity to a public beach access and an outdoor shower.

Forever Paradise is centrally located in the town of Kill Devil Hills. Within easy driving distance of many local favorites such as Jennette’s Pier, Jockey’s Ridge, Tanger Outlet Shopping, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, and the NC Aquarium in Manteo, the property is also minutes from fine and casual dining, grocery stores, and much more! The property sits on the border of the town of Nags Head, which has pup-friendly beaches.

Linens (bath towels, washcloths, and sheets) are included in the price of the rental.

Please note that we only allow dogs and no other pets. Additionally, there is no smoking of any kind. All guests are encouraged to purchase trip insurance.

The property was as advertised and was correctly rated by previous guests. The owner was very communicative before our stay. The unit was very clean. The kitchen well appointed. The kitchen and bathrooms were renovated but the rest of the unit keeps its old school charm. Noticed lightbulbs were out and water dispensed from fridge wasn’t not working. I only made note of this to the owner and it was fixed immediately. The price point for our October 11-18, 2025 stay was excellent. The unit is dog friendly. Just a block from beach access. The house is solid. We were there during a Nor’easter. Would stay there again! Would recommend to others.

Great location for beach access at Nags Head (less than one block from the nearest public beach access) and for quick trips around the town and Kill Devil Hills. The outdoor shower was really nice also. It was one of those times when the host and my family’s preferences lined up well from a host recommendation standpoint and we enjoyed almost all of the recommendations from Morning Cafe, to BootyTreats, to Jockey’s Ridge at sunset, to Corolla wild horses, the list goes on and on. The house was a great size for our family of 5 and dog friendly. There is also a dog park at the hotel next to the rental which was helpful. Harris Teeter and a number of food options are within easy walking distance also. Would definitely stay there again! Thanks!

We had an amazing first time to the OBX. The apartment was clean and spacious. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach, stores, and dining options. We loved being able to bring our pup. It was a wonderful experience and we will be definitely staying there again!

Overall it was a good stay. The house is just like pictured. Beds weren't terrible. BIG bathtub was very relaxing. Could use another sofa or more comfortable chairs in the living area. The second bedroom has a tv but no streaming device had to buy our own. Location is great easy beach access and walkable restaurants we had to buy one

Good Location

The property is very well-kept, but it was a shock to find out it was an upstairs unit. I did not see anything in the posting that mentioned it was an upstairs unit. Also, the driveway for the unit is very hard to find, and the GPS of the unit takes you next door with no way to connect to the property.

Very Pleasant and Well Lovated

We loved our week here- this upper floor unit is right across from the beach with a nice little yard and two outside porches. The beach access is right at the border of Kill Devils Hill and Nags head and the nags head side allows leased dogs all day all year—watch out for the hot sand and sand spurs though! We had our dog and worried he would struggle with the stairs to the flat- about 20 steps from ground level. But they were well maintained with railings and closed risers so he trotted right up and down.the place was very clean, nice and comfortable furniture and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the oversized tub too. Joe and lisa were great hosts- very responsive. We would come back!

Loved the charm of an older home but with the updated touches. Kitchen was wonderful. We loved the location as well. The host gave us wonderful dining recommendations that we found very helpful and we were satisfied with them all.

Wonderful stay in OBX!!

This was the best experience we’ve had with a rental so far!! It changed our minds about staying at a rental property in the future. This house was perfect for our family of four!! We had such a wonderful week there in OBX. Clean, roomy and such a beautiful house!! We enjoyed the porch in the front and it was such a short walk to the beach. It was in a good location so we had a short drive to all the things we wanted to go do. Joe was wonderful and so very helpful. We would definitely stay at the property again. Five stars all the way!!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed in the upstairs unit and it was clean, inviting, cozy, and just lovely. All of the basics were provided. Our hosts provided us lots of info for places to go and things to do and check in and check out was effortless. We felt very at home and will happily book with them again!

Outer Banks Getaway

This property was so ideal for us and our two dogs. The kitchen was well appointed. It was great to have a front and back porch. It was super convenient to the beach and to the many local restaurants. We can not wait to stay there again.
