Gran casa de campo de la vieja escuela en la hermosa Kill Devil Hills. Este no es el típico hogar de caja de playa. Tiene todo el carácter de las bellas casas construidas en los bancos exteriores hace años. Las paredes, los pisos y los techos de pino nudoso son absolutamente impresionantes. Esta casa está ubicada cerca del milepost 10, que está casi a la mitad del área oceánica de los bancos exteriores. Esta área también puede denominarse OBX (bancos externos). Estás cerca de TODO. 5 minutos a pie de la playa (cruzando la calle). A 5 minutos de Nags Head, Kitty Hawk, Wright Brothers Memorial. Un gran viaje de un día sería conducir por la playa y realmente ver lo mejor que los bancos exteriores tienen para ofrecer. Un corto viaje en automóvil por las áreas de Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo y Hatteras lo lleva al ferry y a un viaje de 30 minutos a Ocracoke. Esto realmente sería una increíble aventura de un día de viaje.

La casa tiene 3 dormitorios completos (2 son extremadamente grandes), 1 cama King, 2 camas Queen, 1 litera con capacidad para 3 y un sofá cama. 2 baños completos y ducha exterior de gran tamaño también. Nueva ropa de cama en 2009. Mascota amigable. De no fumadores.

Perfect Beach Getaway in Kill Devil Hills!We just returned from an amazing stay at this beautiful home and we can’t say enough good things about it! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a relaxing beach vacation. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals, and we loved starting our mornings on the deck with coffee.The location was perfect! Just a short walk to the beach and close to local shops, restaurants, and attractions like the Wright Brothers Memorial. The neighborhood was quiet and family-friendly, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing helpful tips for our trip and checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. You can tell they truly care about their guests' experience.Whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or an active beach adventure, this place is a fantastic home base. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Kitchen was good, however, both bathroom curtain liners had mildew and the upstairs bathroom ceiling had mold. For the bedrooms, the pillows were yellow and the bunkbed was so squeeky, the kids had to share the queen bed. The listing did not mention we needed to bring sheets and towels, but were notified a few weeks prior we had to bring those items. The house also had no toilet paper or hand soap. Needed to go to the store right away just to have the basics. Good if traveling on a budget and you don't have to buy sheets to fit the beds.

The location of this property is great and communication with the host is wonderful. Host even helped us with the return of property that we left behind. The check in was a bit awkward in that we received one single key in the mail(no keypad) which we had to hide outside and then mail back after our stay. The cleaners were so/so but the house is in need of a deep clean and some repairs. While the house itself is charming, the furniture is worn and needs cleaning. With a little TLC this could be an amazing property!

We had a great stay; the house is exactly as described. It’s an older beach house but clean and everything functioned as expected. It’s a great location within walking distance to the beach and some great food spots!

So lucky to snag this house!

Check in was simple, received a key and note in the mail from the homeowner who also verified we received it. We had previously stayed in hotels and were looking for something more cost effective that would accept pets. I was not sure we would find a place to rent in a short time, but so glad we did. The location is awesome, close to everything and only 1 block down and a block up to public access. The house was great, it was clean, beds are good, kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils and the homeowner Hal was attentive. Looking forward to future stays!

Summer vibes

Wonderful week celebrating July 4th! Cottage was cozy - love the older beach box style! Location was great for beach and sound, restaurants and shopping. We had a great time!

Bday Weekend Retreat

My wife and I along with some friends loved this home for our weekend trip. The house is in a perfect location being a short walk from multiple restaurants and the beach. This is a place we would easily stay at again. Hal the host was quick and responsive with his communication.

Amazing location

Our group of 5 adults had the best time at this beach house. The house itself is fun and vintage. The location is the best close to the beach, restaurants, breweries and just about anything you could want.

Great Location For A Long Weekend

Cozy beach cottage in a GREAT location!!

Our family enjoyed staying in this beach cottage for our first OBX vacation. This house had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. Hal, the owner was quick to respond to the few inquiries that we had. As advertised, the location of this house is excellent! Short walk to the beach, surf shops and restaurants with a great little pizza shop right at the end of the block. Our boys especially enjoyed the giant candy store within view of either of the balconies.

this place was great for my brothers and i for a long weekend... fishing out of Oregon inlet and it was close to many restaurants and the beach so we didn't have to drive much.

Ship Shape Property and Great Management Communications

I've been visiting OBX for going on 40 years and have rented a variety of properties. 204 Neptune is a great property and met our needs perfectly. First, there is walkable beach access within 2 blocks. Second, if you need to haul gear to the beach, there are plenty of free parking areas for beach access points up and down VDT road, literally dozens of options to get your gear and family to the beach. Third, multiple dining options within walking distance! This property is well stocked, it has everything you need for a great stay. The porch swing on the front deck became a favorite reading spot each evening after our time at the beach. The property is clean and FUN! Try it out, you'll want to come back next time around.

The day we closed on this property didnt seem real to either one of us. Now our kids Seth and Monica love it as much as we do. We usually try to get one week per year here as a family but enjoy sharing it with others thru VRBO!

This location is one of the best kept secret beaches in the world. Extremely friendly people, wide, non crowded beaches, and dozens of great places to eat.

Very close to the ocean but not on beach road or bypass which cuts down on traffic noise. Master has balcony with ocean views.
