Beautiful spacious home near the New River Gorge National Park. When you step on the private back patio you can make your way to the fire pit where you can kick your feet up and relax and cookout on the grill. Afterwards you can enjoy the peaceful night sky and keep an eye out for wildlife that may be passing by. There is a 6 person amish made patio set, 6 adirondack chairs surrounding the fire pit and a 5 person hot tub.

The sweetest little house with the best hosts! Has everything you need, with comfortable beds and sheets, well stocked kitchen, and plenty of room. There is also the BEST sledding hill that we enjoyed with our surprise dump of snow. Great for the kids! Thank you for a beautiful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Tom and Haley’s place. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was beautiful and convenient, and the amenities (especially the hot tub and game room) made the trip extra enjoyable.Tom and Haley were exceptional hosts—very kind, responsive, and understanding. They handled everything with such grace and made us feel completely at ease.This is exactly the kind of place and host that makes VRBO great. We made wonderful family memories here and would absolutely love to come back in the future. Highly recommend!

We had a great time! The kids loved the pool table and ping pong table and it was great to relax in the hot tub after days of rafting and other activities. The location was very convenient to activities and places to eat. The hosts were very friendly and communication was good!

This place was perfect for our trip. It was very clean and spacious. The game room was a plus for our kids and teenagers. The home had a lot of essentials needed. The only problem we had was the stove was a bit tricky to use but we eventually figured it out. It was nice and semi private. Will stay again if in West Virginia.

This was a great house for our family getaway! Many lovely touches from the coffee cart and snacks provided to the cozy blankets everywhere. Our favorite time was spent in the backyard with the firepit and hot tub!

Great house

The house had plenty of room for all of us. The fire pit and hot tub were great and nice seating. The owners had plenty of wood ready. The location was handy. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Rockers on front porch were nice too. Game room was great too. The kitchen was not clean.

Oak Hill Bridal Shower / Family Time

Beautiful house on a hill overlooking the road. We had the whole family together and the house is set up for big groups to be able to hang out, laugh, play games and enjoy themselves. Huge table with open kitchen concept so people cooking and cleaning can still be a part of the fun. Our grandkids loved the game room and we enjoyed the house. Would definitely stay again. Oh and the sheets smelled Amazing!!!!

Perfect get-a-way

We loved everything about this place. It was just as described in listing and had plenty of space for four adult couples as we celebrated Christmas together. The house was even decorated for Christmas. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. We were close to a nice walking trail. The coffee bar was well stocked. We could all sit around the table for meals and games.and there was plenty of comfy seating for movies in the evening. Hosts were very responsive responding to any questions

Family Thanksgiving Reunion

The hosts Tom and Haley were accessible and responsive. We enjoyed the fire pit with smores on a starry evening, hot tub in snow showers and the garage game room kept the kids busy when weather didn't cooperate. The hosts even had the home decorated for the season, which was a very nice touch. We enjoyed breakfast at the Cathedral Cafe (highly recommend) followed by a calorie burning hike in the snow at the Endless Wall trail of New River Gorge Park. Thanks so much Tom and Haley for sharing!

New River Gorge Stay

Stayed for 2 days as we went on a rafting trip in the new river gorge. Check in was easy, the house was clean and the kids absolutely loved the game room and the hot tub. The fire pit was a wonderful place to grill marshmallows at night. Overall a wonderful stay with only some small cleanup at the end. Would high recommend to stay here if plan on going rafting, great location around 10-20 from many parks and rafting agencies. Amazing 10/10

Not the Cleanest

We enjoyed the outdoor table and fire pit. The grill was so dirty that my husband had to clean it prior to us being able to use it. The bathrooms were not the cleanest, as well as the baseboards, walls, carpet, kitchen cabinets and doors. Overall we were disappointed, especially for the high price we paid for 2 nights.

Great option for a quick and easy getaway to the new River gorge!

The manager was very communicative and made themselves available whenever needed. The house is conveniently located between food and trails. The interior has seen better days as it’s pretty worn, but the manager has it listed for the right price. Overall an excellent stay and would do it again.

Great Location!!

We loved the area and how close the house is to Ace Adventures; we also enjoyed the game room, and comfy beds. My only complaint was the cleanliness ( mostly floors throughout , baseboards and front of cabinets in the kitchen. You can tell the house was not vacuumed before we came. Honestly I looked for the vacuum and was going to do it myself but believe your cleaning stuff was in a locked closest, but I didn’t let this ruin our stay….but thought you should know. Overall - my family had fun and that’s what matters!

Amazing Property

Spent 3 days int he gorge with a family of 10. More than big enough for all. Enjoyed sharing memories around the fire and hot tub and the game room saved the night when the entire town and surrounding areas lost power from a wicked storm. That didnt take away from an awesome trip or time at this property. The owners were attentive to every need. We would definitely reserve again!

Virginia and Missouri Family Spring Break Getaway

It was really nice and what we expected. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. We were close to most of the places we wanted to see such as the Long Point trail, Sandstone Falls and boardwalk,etc.. There were a few minor things that were needed but overall it was just fine and we really enjoyed our stay.

Quick trip for graduation

This house was the perfect spot for our family while visiting for my oldest daughter’s graduation. The house is spacious and well equip. The area is far enough off the beaten path of Oak hill to feel private and secluded but close enough for convenience. We had lovely family dinners inside and out, loved the space for our pups to frolic the game room and hot tub were a fan favorite of our four children. The hosts were kind and responsive and a pleasure to rent from. We hope to rent the house again on subsequent trips we will have. Thank you!

We both love adventure so what better way to embrace that than to have a home in the New River Gorge area? We both are educators who work hard and also like to play hard. We are from Ohio where we are raising our 3 children who also love adventure. We fell in love with the West Virginia countryside and the serenity that the area offers.

This property is located on the outskirts of town in a neighborhood that provides a private backyard where you can enjoy the hot tub and fire pit in privacy. We added a new game room! It is close to all of the attractions that the NRG area has to offer.
