Best place we've stayed in Santa Fe

This property worked really well for us. It was expertly stocked with everything we needed and the location couldn't be better--walking to everything. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Family Christmas!

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the lovely and well appointed Palacio Compound for the week of Christmas. The two casitas were perfect accommodations for our three young adult children to stay in the larger casita and my husband and I to stay in the smaller one. Its location is walkable to Canyon Road, the city square and hiking trails! The kitchen and grill also served us well for cooking Christmas Eve and Day dinners!

Wonderful week in beautiful SF home

I loved this property! We recently stayed one week and the home is perfect. The management was over-the-top..professional and helpful in every way. The location is ideal for walking in any direction in SF. Beautiful garden around front patio..very relaxing & comfortable.

The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and we appreciated the attention to detail such as a variety of bedside chargers, wonderful art and high quality reading material. The Casita gave our son and his wife privacy and comfort, and easy access to our back door. We were able to walk to the Plaza and several of our favorite restaurants (Compound, 315, Joseph's). Definitely recommend!

SANTA FE HISTORIC EASTSIDE CASA AND CASITA RENTALS

The homes were in a great location for walking to the Santa Fe Square and Canyon Road. The casa and casita were clean, equipped with all supplies needed for my stay and the interior design of the homes were fabulous. Interior design and location are what helped me make my final decision of where to stay while i was in Santa Fe. The best recommendation i can give is i will rent this property again. I cannot say enough praises for the owner/manager of these properties. I felt she went over and above what was necessary to make our group feel comfortable and at home. She is very knowledgeable of Santa Fe, a city she loves. I highly recommend you rent this property.

We are so fortunate to have such responsive guests that appreciated everything from the art collection, to the linens, to the interior design. They lived Santa Fe to the fullest and it was a pleasure to see their enthusiasm.

Girls' Trip

We have a group of 6 ladies that have made a girls' trip once a year for the last 18 years! We chose Santa Fe this year and we had a fabulous time. This house is perfect for that kind of trip.....we rented both the Casa and the Casita. We enjoyed the patios for wine and cheese in the late afternoons. Everything was really within walking distance or a short cab ride. The houses were comfortable, roomy, and very well equipped. We LOVED the welcome baskets and the cinnamon bread is to die for!!! Any questions we had or needs we had were IMMEDIATELY taken care of by the rental agent. She was delightful and so accommodating. If we didn't try a new place every year, we would come back to Casas Palacio in a heartbeat!! We highly recommend this property.

Amazing ladies......they had the best time shopping, eating and right down the the bloody marys upon departure. The only trouble is, they go to a different destination each year so I may not see them back for awhile. They certainly know how to have a good time and it was fun having them as guests.

Santa Fe Palacio Compound

Rating 5 of 5: For our Santa Fe NM vacation visit, we stayed at AQUI home Palacio Compound. This was an awesome 2-bedroom house with a 1-bedroom casita, also fully equipped, in the back. This was exactly as described in the listing. The hostess, Ms. Caroline, was very pleasant and provided us with a guided tour of the house including a very pleasant welcoming basket of goodies. The kitchen was properly equipped with everything you would need. The beds were most comfortable, and the pillows were very soft and comfortable too. There was so much to do, even when it rained. We visited several venues, like the farmers market, the town square, the O’Keefe Art Museum, Gallery Road, Ojo Santa Fe Spa Resort, and the Puye Cliff Dwellings, all are awesome places to visit. The host made us feel so welcome, and we will be using AQUI home for our next trip to Santa Fe.

We were a multi-generational group, grandmother, son, teenage granddaughter and the Casa Simpatico and Casa Perla worked perfectly for all of us. The location simply couldn't have been better. we walked almost everywhere to the Plaza for shopping, museums , Canyon rd for galleries , and many of the restaurants. The Casitas were beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean and thoughtfully equipped. The Beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of spaces to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the garden areas. The Historic Eastside is beautiful neighborhood and allowed us the experience the city. We arrived late at night and the Host had left us a nice welcoming basket filled with fruit cheese, charcuterie, which we really appreciated. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Santa Fe experience in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. A big thank you to the host Caroline for thinking of everything!

Bravo Aqui Santa Fe

You cannot go wrong taking the advice of Caroline Morgan and Aqui Santa Fe for your visit. Palacio Compound is a FANTASTIC location -- walking distance from everything. Well appointed, comfortable, and perfect for three couples if you're sharing the main house and casita. We ate out, ate in, enjoyed the patio and the gorgeous weather. Fantastic dinners at the Compound, Sazon, SantaCafe, and Market Steer. Great brunches at Cafe Pascual and the Tea House, and fabulous lunch at La Casa Sena. What's not to love? Thank you Aqui !

Family Perfect For Sure!

We love this place because of the downstairs bedroom and twin beds. Our kids can be down there in deep sleep and join us upstairs anytime. And, The Tea House is just around the corner on Canyon Road. What else can we ask for!

Amazing accommodations and service in Santa Fe! The process was seamless. Caroline treats you like an old friend coming to Santa Fe for the first time. The house was impeccable. The sheets and towels are nicer than mine at home! There was a gift basket and welcome book that gives you a comprehensive overview of the area and restaurant s and things to do. I wish we could have stayed longer!

It is always a pleasure to have families enjoy the Palacio Compound. There is enough room and privacy for all and two well equipped kitchens to cook the Thanksgiving turkey. After departing there is still laughter and a sweet ambiance in the air.

Best Time in Santa Fe

What a wonderful trip to the Wine and Chile Festival in Santa Fe. While food and wine were excellent, its important to remember when you are gone and have to sleep somewhere, that's pretty important! We couldn't have asked for a better experience than at the Aqui Santa Fe. This home and casita were outstanding. So nice to be able to relax and have a place to stretch out. The house is beautifully decorated, wonderful welcome baskets, italian linens to put you in dreamworld. This place is walking distance to the plaza. We would all love to have stayed longer and wishing we could go back today. Wonderful owners/managers. Thank You

How true it is! Wine & Chile Fiesta is great fun but it can be a test of endurance. Thus the creature comforts of a beautifully furnished home, premium bed with luxurious linens and a perfect location provide for brief respites in between events and leave you refreshed and looking forward to the next gathering. A PERFECT FAMILY GATHERING

Where to put my extended family visiting Santa Fe for the first time? The Palacio Compound - with it's two charming casitas connected by an equally charming patio - it turned out to be the perfect choice. Everyone loved the furnishings, the beds, the Italian linens and toiletries and if they could have spent the day in their yummy Frette bathrobes, they would have! But Santa Fe beckoned and all the delights were just a short walk from the casitas. Thank you Caroline (owner of Aqui Santa Fe) for greeting everyone when they arrived and accommodating all ten of us in your wonderful Palacio Compound. We felt well cared for.

What a great family! They were Vacation Rental veterans of the highest degree and knew how to enjoy every inch of the house and Santa Fe too for that matter. The back garden is the afternoon gathering place and the go between for the house and casita. It is so convenient!

Wonderful Houses

The location was great. The houses were beautiful. We have rented many houses in SantaFe over the years, this one was the best. We were able to walk all the restaurants and shopping abd leave the cars parked. This location had the best outdoor areas of any place we have stayed. We will stay here again.

Thanksgiving 2011

Two houses were perfect -- all accommodations ie cooking utensils, pots/pans, dishes - furniture, linens etc great. Especially nice to be adjourning so all family together. Caroline lovely hostess -- bottle of wine very nice touch. Looking forward to doing it again!!

The best house rental in Santa Fe!

Caroline (the owner) is fabulous...from ease of reservation to personal greeting at the door when we arrived! The home was spotless with top of the line linens on the beds to a kitchen primed for making a gourmet meal to a bathroom stocked with everything you could need. The courtyards were perfect for our two little guys to run and play safely (ages 3 and 2) and for the adults to relax and unwind after a day of shopping and hiking. The house is a very comfortable 2-3 blocks from the square and a very easy walk. Our stay was perfect and I highly recommend this property! We WILL be back!

Perfect experience!

My husband, 1-yr old and I had the true pleasure of spending one night in Casa Perla, and the following two nights in adjacent Casa Simpatica (we switched to the two-bedroom to gain an extra room for our baby). We wouldn't have changed a thing about our experience, from the charm of both houses to the details inside (Frette bathrobes, luxury bedding, bottled water waiting, even a gift basket!). Both cottages were immaculately kept, sparkling new appliances and impeccably chosen decor. We cozied up to the Kiva fireplace, played in the patios, read books, strolled the short jaunts to restaurants near the Plaza and the art galleries of Canyon Road. The neighborhood is a perfect location, and the manager of both houses, Caroline Morgan, is a wonderful person and a class act. She provides five-star service from greeting to goodbye, going out of her way in a number of ways to make our trip flawless. Thanks to her, it was just that!

Love this place!

Six of us had a great girls weekend at this property. The pictures are very accurate in showiing the wonderful casa & casita. My only regret is that we didn't have time to use the high-end kitchen appliances to prepare a meal. But the location is so great, we were able to walk or have a very short drive to various restaurants. Perfect location - about a 3 block walk to the Plaza and to Canyon Road. Great neighborhood with beautiful homes and shaded sidewalks. Caroline, the property manager, is extremely responsive and helpful.

A great group of women who didn't miss a trick and gathered under the portal every night to share stories of the day. Casa Simpatica and Casa Pearla made the perfect combination of beds and baths for six busy women.

Casa Simpatica and Casita

Our family came together from all over California to celebrate a birthday. We were very pleased with the property! It was charming, beautifully decorated and maintained. We had all the comforts of home. The location was perfect for ease in getting around Santa Fe. We could walk to restaurants, shops, art galleries. I can't wait to go back ! The house was well equipped for cooking, and we were greeted with fresh flowers. we have always stayed in hotels in Santa Fe, but this experience was so much better!!!

This was a wonderful family and Aqui Santa Fe was fortunate to have them as guests. They anticipated their personal needs well so when they arrived all they had to do was enjoy themselves and their birthday celebration. It was fun to go the extra mile with flowers and champagne seeing how much it was appreciated!

Casa Simpatica and Casita

Our family spent 4 days in Santa Fe in April at this wonderful property. The house and casita were both charming, beautifully decorated and maintained, and well equipped for housekeeping. We prepared several meals and had all the right equipment! The location was great for access to restaurants, shopping , and galleries. Our family had a wonderful experience, and we hope to return in the near future!!

A Great Santa Fe Experience!

We loved our stay here and will definitely return. There is plenty of space for travelers or families, but it was fabulous for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and shopping (this house is walking distance to the plaza), but were also able to use the stocked kitchen to cook our own meals. Don't pass this place up!

That is the beauty of having Casa Simpatica (main house) and Casa Perla (guest house) that share a common garden. The romantic get-away is Casa Perla, intimate and private, and Casa Simpatica is where all the action is. Everybody is free to wander the town in any direction because you are not more than a few blocks from everything including restaurants.

Casas Palacio was my very first property. After 4 years, Casa Perla is completely rebuilt and the last phase of renovation has been completed on Casa Simpatica. It is a pleasure to preserve the best of the old and blend it with a new more luxe finish.
