This place had a great beach less than 5 minute walk away, and was just as the photos advertised. The host was great, reaching out proactively when we arrived and helped us get a late check-out upon request (for a small fee). The condo had beach equipment such as chairs, umbrellas, and even masks and snorkels.

We had a good time at Kahalu'u Reef Condo. The description of the condo is precise and layout was perfect for our family. If you stay at this condo, keep in mind, that not much basics are stocked there (no shampoo or body wash, no cooking oil). Bedroom doors are not holding well on door frame and need some fixing.Despite the mentioned issues, our stay was good and we enjoyed the place.

Best location

My favorite part was the proximity to the ocean, both the condo and the pool. To be able to see and hear the glorious ocean was a balm for my soul. The condo is nice, simple and easy to feel at home in. We slept well and used the kitchen for meals, snacks and picnic preparation.

Easy walk to Kahaluu Beach Park and Lovely Views

We enjoyed our stay in this condo! It was wonderful to have breakfast and watch the early morning surfers and paddleboarders. It is a quick 5-10 minute walk to the beach and about 20 minutes the other direction to Magic Sands beach where there is a restaurant. Keauhou shopping center is close enough to walk or bike to where there is a grocery, movie theater and several restaurants. The rooms were comfortable at night with the air conditioners and fans. This was a great location for our trip!

Great Place! Highly Recommend!

Pros: - Great location - Fantastic balcony ocean view - Parking spot (easy access) - Lots of beach equipment provided - Beds were comfortable - A/C floor units were nice to have - Provided detergent pods for laundry Cons: - If you plan to cook, will need basic ingredients like oil, etc. but otherwise kitchen is fully equipped with pots/pans - Slight odor (mainly in the back)

Nice location

Nice location- One block from the beach access. So you can leave all your valuables at home and walk there. Lanai is great- you can watch the waves, surfers, and spot whales. Condo building is safe and relatively quiet. Good for a short stay but not good if you plan to cook much- cookware and stove dont completely work. Beds are adequate but not comfortable. We had to do our own cleaning upon arrival- some dirty dishes in the cabinets, greasy ice cube trays in the freezer and food splatters on the walls.

Great except for air conditioner noise

Excellent property and location. Unfortunately the air conditioner made a very loud whistling noise like a whistling kettle (control said needed a filter change). Guests can not adjust control so we could not turn it off. The property manager was responsive but could not get the maintenance people to come due to the holidays so she had the owner turn it off between 6 pm and 10 am. The unit stayed cool enough.
