Make memories with your family at Surfside Retreat!
Great Location perfect for multifamily or a group. This is a 5 BR 5 Bath (& 2 half baths!) beachfront home! Sleeps 14 in Beds & 2 on a pull out sleeper sofa (Max guests 16). Located directly on the beach; no busy road to cross! This is a great home for one large family or two smaller families that care to share the cost of a beach rental. With five bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and one large kitchen and living space, everyone will have enough space to spread out. Wake up to a beautiful beach view and enjoy your coffee while listening to the relaxing sounds of the ocean. Heated Swim Spa (12' x 7.5') is available on the lower deck.
Minimum age to rent: 25 years
We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance, such as CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) or whatever suits your personal needs (weather, COVID, other trip issues).
The space: Surfside Retreat is a beautifully finished beach front house. It is located on the east end of Panama City Beach on Surf Drive just down the street from the popular Longboards Restaurant and Bar. Moving in with your beach gear is a breeze with private parking available just outside the front door for up to 5 cars or 3 full-size SUVs. (Guests may not park on the street or at any adjacent complex.) Just walk out the back door and paradise awaits. The property boasts HDTVs with Rokus throughout the home, live channels via YouTube TV, as well as high speed wifi that is perfect for streaming.
Important: This home sleeps 16 (14 in beds + 2 in sleeper sofa) - Maximum guests allowed is 16.
Property is Dog Friendly with pet fee. There is a non refundable pet fee of $150 per pet, up to two dogs. Pet owners must clean up after pets. Pets are not allowed on furniture under any circumstances. Some restrictions may apply.
All bed linens and interior towels are included. Please bring your own beach towels. Full size washer and dryer are available in the laundry room.
A play yard, high chair, and baby gate are located in the closet for guest use. Please note, no linens are provided for the play yard. Additional baby equipment may be rented from BabyQuip.

Please note that the basement has 7ft ceilings.
The kitchen is well equipped with quartz counter tops, new stainless steel appliances (including both a full size refrigerator/freezer, a second refrigerator for refreshments, and an ice maker!) and all the essentials for lovingly preparing meals for the family. Everything you need to serve 16 people is available including dishes, flatware, and glassware. A full set of cookware (including large pots for crowds) and utensils are also provided. There is a drip and Keurig coffee maker; bring your own favorite coffee and filters. Dine inside or outside, it's up to you! No waiting in line and no reservations required when you have your own home instead of just a hotel room!
The patio and deck provide ample entertainment, including string lights and ample seating for your entire group. There is a park style, charcoal-burning BBQ grill (please bring your own charcoal) and large outdoor Connect-4 game set along with dining tables and sofa seating. One outside shower helps to keep salt & sand outside the home.
This property requires a security deposit, it will be collected separately by the property prior to check in. This security is a credit card hold that may be released after check out if no damages occur (please refer to rental agreement upon booking).
Note: Two security cameras record the driveway in the front of the property.
ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES
Quiet time is after 9:30 pm and strictly enforced. Parties are not allowed in this quiet residential neighborhood. If you are night owls, this property is not for you. If you bring more people than reflected on your reservation you will be asked to leave without a refund. At least one adult who is 25 years of age. If these rules sound like they won't work - you have 24 hours to cancel penalty-free!
Travel Protection Insurance: Travel protection service is highly recommended and can be purchased directly from a number of independent reputable national providers.
Florida's hot and humid weather is not only lovely for visitors, but for endemic insects too. Endemic insects and fauna may occasionally find their way into our home. To prevent local resident pests from enjoying our home, we do have regularly scheduled pest control treatments to keep the home pest free. Guests may help prevent insects from joining them by keeping doors and windows closed, wiping down counters, and putting away food properly.
ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO ELECTRONIC CIGARETTES, OR DRUGS ON THE PREMISES
Shopping Nearby: There are 2 major grocery stores and a Super Walmart within 2 miles. Pier Park is an ideal place for shopping and is only a 10 to 15 minute drive from the house. At Pier Park you will find several major department stores, many outlet stores, specialty stores, unique apparel and jewelry stores, fun activities for the kids, a major 16 theater cinema, and some of the best restaurants in the area.
Easy Access: Thomas Drive has the best traffic flow in the area. During the busiest times of spring break and peak summer weeks, Front Beach Road experiences bumper to bumper traffic. From Thomas Drive you can drive anywhere in minutes without the hassle of traffic.
Fun Activities: Shipwreck Island water park is a blast for the whole family in the heat of the summer. Zoo World and Gulf World are also great family activities. Within a very short distance of the house there are several venues for miniature golf, bumper boats, sling shot bungee rides, a Ripley's Believe It or Not, and all the beach activities one could ask for. For the golfing enthusiasts, there are 5 public courses within minutes of the house. St. Andrews state park is just a short drive down Thomas Drive. Additionally, boat tours to Shell Island or boat charters are available from several local companies.
