Explore Sun Peaks and the surrounding area during your holiday. Hike your way to gorgeous views, ski fresh powder runs, and rip down the newest mountain biking trails. Once you’ve had your fill of the outdoors, head inside our family-friendly suite to relax.
Enjoy the hot tub, cozy living room with a fireplace, and lots of well-appointed storage for your gear. Kids can choose a bunk, while mom and dad get the extra roomy king-sized bed. Both bedrooms include black-out curtains to help you get a good nights rest.
With views of the ski slopes and a sunny southern exposure, our quiet ground-level corner unit also includes a private entrance and patio. The newly renovated interior boasts a washer and dryer, full-sized fridge and stove, microwave, soaker tub, a secure underground parking spot, plus two lockable storage spaces beside the front door.
A true ski-in/ski-out, our unit is close beside the Orient Chair, allowing for easy access to downhill skiing, and also the Nordic Center. Cross-country skiing, snowshoe, and summer time biking and hiking trails that take you to McGilllivray Lake are just across the street.
So, stop to smell the flowers, take the narrow path, and let yourself get SideTracked in Sun Peaks!

Loved our stay here! It was so cozy, the host was very quick to respond when we needed something, and it was a great location near the sledding hill where my kids kept wanting to go!

Great place, everything as described. Very good mattresses and quiet. Hot tub was great at the end of the day. Ski out to Oriental chair by taking a left out the door, then another left around the building corner and going straight to the Oriental Return run (3 minutes). We Ski in (from Sundance Chair) by traversing on Rambler, then the East Village ski trail until you go under the Orient chair, then take the Czesc blue run and navigate to the entry trail for the building. Only small nitpick (which I think is a sunpeaks thing, not specific to this unit) is that we had to bring our garbage to the transfer station, or arrange (for a fee) to get it picked up (when we are already paying a housingkeeping fee). C'mon Sunpeaks. Otherwise, really great time and highly recommended.

Spring at sunpeaks

We had an amazing stay. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with cookware and usable knives. Easy instructions and close walk to the hill for a spring ski.

Family holiday for Christmas

Side Tracked

We had an amazing stay at Side Tracked!! Perfect location for ski in ski out at Sun Peaks. The condo was nicely updated, well stocked and the beds were very comfy!! Will be back!!

Excellent property and location

A lovely 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom condo in Stones Throw. Well appointed and a good size for a family vacation. Ski out to Orient chair and Morrissey, and ski in from Orient and Tod. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the village or 5 minute drive. Shuttle bus stops right outside the development.

Great stay!

A wonderful condo to stay in. Wonderfully decorated, comfortable beds, and fully equipped kitchen, so you don't need to bring a bunch of cooking supplies. Enjoyed our stay at Sun Peaks with our family. Easy to get to everything in the resort and accessible to Kamloops.

Great winter get-away

Very well organized and very clean place to stay. We really appreciated the number of well thought out "small things" that end up adding up to a lot -- good cooking pots and pans, kitchen items, and other supplies if needed.

Just a Stone Throw away....

....from everything. We loved our stay at Stone Throw Village again this year. We stayed next door five years ago so it was nice to be back. The things that we loved more this time...the night bus, the new Orient lift for true ski in ski out. Great place to stay.

Great ski holiday at Sidetracked

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at Chris and Heidi’s place. Every detail has been thought of, from the hooks on the doors and walls, which were fantastic for hanging ski clothes or coats, to the trays for shoes at the entrance and the well organised kitchen that had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and our children loved the spa. It was close to the Orient and Morrissey lifts and an easy walk to town. Would highly recommend this property.

Family ski getaway

We had a very comfortable stay at Sidetracked unit. The access to the unit to load/ unload was convenient and the check in instructions were very helpful. Everything was in great condition and beds and furniture were cozy and comfy. The hot tub was hot and it was fun to watch the cats grooming at night.

Would stay again in a heartbeat!

The property was so clean and well organized. Kitchen had almost everything you would need to prepare meals including salt and pepper! The hot tub was a huge hit for my tired son after his basketball tournament. The grounds were so green and spring like while a light snow was falling. I fell in love with sun peaks during this stay! Thank you so much!

Great unit

The unit was clean and well-appointed, and in a great location near the Orient chair with easy ski in and ski out. The owners have thought of many many details, the pots and pans etc are good quality and the unit is nicely stocked. The unit has heated floors and the hot tub was nice as well. Would definitely come back and recommend.

Perfect spot for a family

This was truly the perfect spot for our family of 5 with kids 12, 11 and 9. It is a true ski in/ski out and we could put on our skis outside of the front door! The bunk bed room was so fun for the kids and they made up a top bunk schedule so they all got turns. We never used the shuttle bus because we so enjoyed the walk to and from the village. It is beautiful and easy walk and more importantly, lined with massive amounts of snow that we all played in. And a special thanks to Heidi and Chris for being so helpful with the few questions we had. They were, kindly, so quick to respond. We loved staying here and would stay here again if we are lucky enough to find ourselves back at Sun Peaks. ~ Katie

Right on track!

Wonderful to arrive at this gem after a really long day! We immediately felt at home - immaculately clean, beautifully furnished and thoughtful touches throughout. The big, comfortable king bed was heaven, and we awoke to snow falling softly over the trees. Although a little way out of the village, we found it easily accessible via the friendly shuttle bus which runs at least hourly, but more like every 20 ‘mins in winter. Alternately, a lovely walk along the village trail gets you into town. Easy access to the Orient chair and able to ski in if desired. We loved the little touches- books, games, chocolates on arrival, a boot warmer, and of course, our favourite was the lovely spa overlooking the trees. These owners really care about creating a great experience for their guests! Highly recommend!!

Team Harrison takes on Sun Peaks!

Great place. Central location within walking distance to village. We skiied in/out. Home was well equipped with everything we needed. Ski lockers outside the front door were great! Beds were compfortable. Hot tub was a hit! Heidi was very responsive to emails. We have an oversized vehicle with a roof rack that didn't fit in the undergraound parkade. We had to pay the nightly fee in the parking lot across the street from the home. It was very easy to pay online though. Overall we were thrilled with the family vacation and home :) Thanks you for having us.

A Dream Ski Season at ‘Side Tracked’ Stones Throw: Perfect Condo, Perfect Memories

Our family's dream of a ski season at Sun Peaks came true thanks to the amazing experience we had at ‘Side Tracked’. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The ski in/ski out convenience was a game-changer, allowing us to maximise our time on the slopes and truly immerse ourselves in the mountain experience. The location couldn't have been better, with breathtaking views of Mt Tod and Mt Morrissy from the cozy comfort of the hot tub. Watching the groomers prepare the ski runs while soaking was a highlight we won't soon forget. Inside the condo, we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was inviting and has very well-equipped kitchen, living room, bathrooms and bedrooms, heated tiles and fireplace to the thoughtful additions like boot warmers and ski locker. It truly felt like a home away from home. We can't say enough about the hospitality of Chris and Heidi. From their warm welcome at the start of our adventure to their responsiveness to any questions we had, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We also had the pleasure of meeting the kind and friendly neighbours, forming connections that added to the sense of community during our time at Sun Peaks. Beyond the skiing, our children thrived, making friends both at school and with the neighbours. It was heartwarming to see them embrace the mountain lifestyle and forge lasting friendships along the way. Thank you so much Chris and Heidi.
