The view was amazing. The balcony was small but ok for the two of us. The bed in the primary bedroom was very comfortable. However, when we got to the unit, the door was stained, dirty and needs to be replaced (at the very least painted). The transom window above the door was filthy. The two sinks in the primary bath were extremely slow draining. The toilet ran continually unless the handle jiggled. The shower floor was slippery. The kitchen was very nice except the kitchen sink faucet never, ever got hot no matter how long you ran it. There was a 9 inch rip on one dining room chair. The rugs were thread bare or were throw rugs that were a tripping hazard. Overall, the place needs a good deep cleaning.

We enjoyed our weeks stay and having a dishwasher, washer and dryer in unit made life more convenient. we had not issues except that the hallway bathroom door locked seemingly by itself. If there could be a door code vs actual keys for entry to the unit, that would be a plus so as to avoid worry of losing the keys on the beach.We would seek to stay at this unit again. Ty for offering your home to visitors. :)As for Carolina Resorts, the staff has been extremely helpful at every step of the rental process and so very pleasant to work with. I would book through you again for sure!

Condo was neat and clean and well stocked. Close to all activities and eating establishments. Property management kept the premises safe and clean at all times. Great option for beach and pool.

No fabric!

Myrtle (Like long ago)

Property was decent. View from the balcony was outstanding. It lacked things we were used to, like a set of sharp knives, hair dryer, garbage disposal. The drains were slow.. Overall it was nice place and we would rent again.

Simple vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Total outcome for stay was satisfied. Master bed mattress was very soft, broke down. Blew a fuse in bed 2 on the second day (how ???). Misc. stains on rugs. Kitchen chair had a 4 inch rip in seat cushion. Wall edges rubbed completely off in places. Ceiling repairs were mudded bud not sanded or painted. Little fish table was broken on head end. Kitchen water barely got warm. Did not like the conduction stove. However, had a great view. Like the way it was decorated. Kitchen was stocked with all my needs. Plenty of blankets for couch and chair setting (I like it cool, wife and kids not so much). Dishwasher and fridge worked great. AC was great. Showers got hot. Couch and chairs were comfortable. Good TV's. Good patio furniture and tables. Grounds crew were wonderful. Used outdoor grill and picnic table (liked the setup). Elevators worked great. Had luggage carts and grocery carts to use (loved this). Grocery stores were close enough. Rental company was really good to work with (thanks for that). Best of all........right on the beach.

Not only right on the beach but also not far from restaurants, the grocery store and anything else someone might need. I was pleasantly surprised that’s there was dish soap, paper towels, dish pods and coffee filters. Some of those we always have to bring. (So we left ours for the next person) The parking, the pool,the distance from ocean to condo via beach access just was wonderful. I don’t have a negative comment!

Great View and Location-Maintenance Issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love staying at Shoreham Towers II! Have stayed there on and off since it opened in 1984. Our unit was very clean when we arrived, however we were notified of a water leakage just before checking in. The unit above had a kitchen water line dripping water down into the main living area of our unit. Plumbers spent the better part of the day repairing on Monday. The big gaping hole in our ceiling was never fixed. So the next incoming family gets to enjoy the view and odor. Other than that issue we enjoyed the week.

The master bedroom needs a new matress. My husband could not get comfortable on any of the beds. The bedroom with the 4 post her is light ALL THE TIME. Not good for sleeping.

Relaxing Family Beach Vacation

This condo at Shoreham Towers II was a very pleasant and comfortable place for our family vacation this year. We had a great time. The oceanfront view from the balcony was just as we expected. The room itself was clean, well-lit and inviting. The AC worked well also. All the beds were very comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the things we needed to cook dinner in the room - which we did multiple times. The building itself is quiet and so is the beach in front of it. We never had to wait very long for the elevator. The other tenants in the building were good neighbors to have for the week. The staff at Carolina Resorts Realty were very kind and helpful and provided some good advice when Tropical Storm Idalia rolled through. The building manager was similarly helpful in that regard. We stayed right through the storm and never had any trouble - the water never got past the dunes in front of the building. Check-in and check out were a breeze. The pictures on VRBO don't show curtains on the balcony windows, but they are there. The ones in the master bedroom were quite effective at blocking out the light and the ones in the living room let just enough light through. Also, you can disregard the negative 2 star review posted on 8/7. I found it to be very unfair and inaccurate. This unit is in excellent condition - you can rent it with confidence! We would be glad to stay here again.

Disappointing for a Premier unit

Queen bed dis bot have a box spring it had a mattress that inly had 3 slates that wer cracked. We called maintenance they came out said the bed needed a box spring due to ot being an old aet that was NOT made to only have a mattress. Maintenance didnt come back day 2 said they were gung up with other jobs. When they did come bavk day 3 they put some wood braces that were to long under bed that broke off as soon as you laid onnit. Called again they said they would bring a box spring or a new bed. Didnt do either. Entire week was on a broken bed. Totally un acceptable! The vent fan in 2nd bathroom couldnt used it , it sounded like it was about to come out of the ceiling it was ratteling so bad. They have grates over the lights about the sinks in both bathrooms, it was getting rwady in candle light they werw so dim. Not one functioning dresser in any bedroom. In fact one rm disnt even have a dresser and the other two you couldnt open the drawers they would stick. The dinner table chairs werw ripped. The owners have a lot of much needed improvements for renters. My family has been going to cresent beach for 20 yrs and this was by far the worst unit we experienced with the furniture. Its a shame you get all this money renting this unit and put nothing back into it. I will certainly never rent Shorham Towers 2 unit 9c again. And this was a premier unit ! Not even close. Maintenance for this unit was also absolutley terrible. No urgency and then not to rectify the issue.

Nice Condo in a good location

The condo itself is very nice with an updated kitchen and very nice showers. There were some very minor maintenance issues like the towel rack fell apart in the master bath and a torn seat cushion on one of the dining chairs. It is a little smaller compared to North Myrtle Beach places we've stayed in the past but none of this effected our stay. The balcony is not private and is small but serviceable. The facility needs some update but it appears that they are working on that. Parking is as a premium. All in all we would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Shorreham Towers II 9C right on the beach. View was awesome. Rooms were clean. Would stay there again. Only problem is there is a smell from the master bedroom sink. Plumber suggested peroxide which helped temporarily. Plumber was there to fix master shower not getting hot. Fixed within 24 hours. Old original part needed replacing could happen to anyone. It was an internal mechanism that controls the heat. One other recommendation would be to have a longer mirror somewhere in the condo. Overall a very good place to stay.
