IMPORTANT BEFORE YOU BOOK: This is not a party house. This is place to relax. Our neighbors are awesome families that have lived in this area for many years, let’s keep them happy. No parties or events, No smoking allowed inside the house. Noise levels must be minimal past 10:00 pm. Good vibes only. We want to rent the house just to families , no party crowds or loud music by the pool! No more than 16 guests allowed on the property. Only registered guests. NOT BACHELOR/BACHELORETTE PARTIES/NO PARTY GROUPS



LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION : This IS A NEW property is located at the East side of Las Picuas Beach, where you will always find a nice breeze that allows you to enjoy outdoors at night . Very large, 2 levels house with 2 master bedrooms & private bathrooms each room on the second floor and 3 bedrooms on the first floor and two bathrooms. There is another full bathroom outside of the house. Large kitchen with an amazing terrace and pergola overlooking the ocean which is the perfect spot for breakfast. Living and dining area with 65" flat screen TV , free Netflix and wifi. The backyard is huge and offers your own private access to the Ocean. There is a large outdoor grill, ping pong table and great weather all year around.
For your enjoyment we have included 2 kayaks and a paddle board at no charge
Guest access
Most of the properties in the neighborhood are Airbnb properties, very safe and quiet . You will be able to walk to all the beaches around here. Wyndham Rio Mar hotel is just 5 minutes by car offering Golf course and restaurants.
Las Picuas is one of the best kept secrets location in Puerto Rico. It's very close to the Rainforest, is not far from San Juan and offers a very secluded beach with a natural reef which protects the beach from wind and waves turning the Ocean in a quiet and flat salt water lake

Beautiful property in paradise!

There were a total of 11 of us that stayed here and the layout and number of bedrooms / bathrooms was perfect for everyone. While at the house, we spent the majority of time sitting by the pool. The tide would go out every day so we'd put on our water shoes and walk out in the shallow water. I would recommend water shoes as my 15-year old did not have a pair and did cut his foot on something on the sea bed. All communications with the host were quickly answered and most importantly to me, the house was very clean when we arrived. This was our second trip to the Rio Grande area and we would definitely return to stay at this home.

Vacation with a little Sleep

The aluminum outdoor, second floor screens kept us awake most of the night. (the wind) The master bedroom TV didn't work .

Puerto Rico stay

The house was the perfect size for our extended family's vacation - lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds and great common spaces for everyone to gather as well as space for "alone" time. We primarily used the porch/balcony which had a beautiful view of the pool, pergola and especially the Atlantic Ocean. The property location was great - very close to the activities we wanted to do. The main issue we had (cleanliness) was water leaking from the roof into one of the bedrooms. There was also a lot of rain water that leaked through sliding doors downstairs. The property manager was quick to try to fix the leak. However, it being the rainy season with an unusually excessive amount of rain that week, it was a bit challenging. Nonetheless, the property manager was very attentive to our needs and responded quickly to texts, calls and other issues.

Something for almost everyone.

This place was fantastic for our family and grandkids! The house was spacious, providing plenty of room to spread out, relax, and visit. The host provided canoes, life jackets, and numerous pool and beach toys for the kids. Rise early to watch the amazing sunrise over the ocean. After soaking up the warm sun, you can cool off in the roomy house, which has remote control AC units in each bedroom, the kitchen, and the living room. Each bathroom features a walk-in shower with a 4-way shower panel. During our stay, we enjoyed watching a family of iguanas basking in the sun near the rock edge. You can cook out on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view. For beach swimming, Luquillo Beach, with its array of restaurant and gift shop kiosks, is just a few minutes away. Be sure to visit the rainforest for some amazing views. The house is a small drive from the main road but was worth it in our opinion It was hard to leave this place.

Great for large groups

We are very conflicted about the star rating for this property. This listing has so much potential to be a great vacation home especially for those traveling with a large group. It’s clean. Great location. The house is not on a walkable beach but it is situated on a reef that provides a large shallow area for little ones to play in with water shoes. They provide plenty of activities with kayaks and a paddle board and life jackets. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the lights at night gave us the option to swim when it wasn’t so hot. Having a washing machine and dryer was added bonus! Recommend renting a car. Unfortunately, it was rainy so it exposed the house’s weaknesses as it is very dated. The whole downstairs is connected to the outdoors and no screens on the windows so everyone there got bitten all over by mosquitoes and ants. Some rooms had leaks, don’t know if it was the air condition units or the house. Doors, knobs, windows, blinds were so fragile. The shower knob actually came off. Ricky was a very nice guy when we finally met him but we didn’t see him until Day 5 of our stay even though we were reaching out. He was able to get someone to come our earlier than usual to treat the house for ants but by that time we only had 2 nights left in our stay. For the price point we definitely could have given a lower star rating, but the overall experience of the trip helped and with a little bit of investment on the owner’s part could definitely push this to a 5 star.

Sunrise in Paradise!

This property was amazing! The view was exactly what we were looking for. We spent the week here with family (15) and it was very spacious! Everyone had a great time and no one wanted to leave. We had a great time exploring our very own backyard reef! Make sure you have your water shoes as there are sea urchins and grassy areas to get to the reefs. We kayaked, we went snorkeling, and took a trip up to the El Yunque. Ricky was amazing as well, whenever we needed something he took care of it quickly. This house is located about 10 minutes from the main road and about 20 minutes from a grocery store so You’ll definitely need a rental car/van. The iguanas that live in the rocks walls are beautiful and visited us every morning along with the sun rise. We will definitely be going back as Puerto Rico is where my husband is from. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with a beautiful view this is place! -PR Family Vacation 2023 ☀️🏝️🇵🇷
