You'll love being a short walk to several culinary gems, plus Emerald Bay is 15 minutes away, and Squaw Valley awaits in 25 minutes. In the summer months, pick up a rental at West Shore Sports and explore the bike path to Tahoe City.

A sophisticated mountain lodge style flows throughout this welcoming 2,286-square-foot home. Glowing wood floors and soaring vaulted ceilings add grand ambience in the great room. There's plenty of seating between a sofa bed, leather recliner, and a love seat. Enjoy snacks and drinks beside the custom stone gas fireplace, or kick back and watch a movie on the 48-inch TV with a sound bar. Downstairs, another living room features a 42-inch TV, a posh leather sofa, and two club chairs.

Invite your inner chef to play in an expansive kitchen, outfitted with stainless steel appliances. Granite countertops and a four-person kitchen island offer ample space for dining and meal prep. A professional-grade gas range, double ovens, and side-by-side fridge round out this elevated culinary space. When it's time to eat, six can share meals at the wooden dining table. Take in views of the lush evergreens while you sip a beverage on your private balcony.

Could be a very nice cabin

The cabin itself is great. Nice layout and very close to fun things to do.Unfortunately it looks like there have been some hard parties in the cabin. Upon our arrival, we noticed multiple things that were broken/not working. Kitchen cabinets hanging off the hinges, master sink not working, hot tub was not working(I had the clean the filters and it started working again), the upstairs slider door was not lockable due to damage so a stick was utilized as a lock, one of the bunk bed ladders was broken to the point of being tied on with a string, one of the bedrooms had no power(lights or plugs) so I checked the breaker and found one had been tripped, dishwasher was completely detached and look as if someone had stood on the door with it open, trash compactor door was hanging off and it did not work, kitchen sink faucet was about as loose as it could be without falling off...Did it kill our trip, no, but it was a little sad it was damaged so bad. I guess it was a good thing I am pretty handy otherwise we'd be waiting for someone to come at least get the lights on in the guest bedroom...We wont be staying here again

Warm, cozy, great cabin with nice kitchen and living area.

This cabin is great for family with kids. The thousands of Lego pieces keep the kids busy while you unpack or cook. The house is fully equip with everything you need. It has heated floor in both bathroom. It has great large living area with nice electric fire place. The heater work really well and heat the house really fast. Here are my reason for not giving it 5 stars. The patio area is too small to be useful. The large master Jacuzzi is useless, it take forever to fill up and a waste of water; however, the shower is super nice, even though we couldn't figure how to operate the steam sauna. The hot tub need a step to get in and out. We couldn't enjoy the backyard because the snow pack was about 7 feet deep and can't access it. We did enjoy the snow in front side yard. This house could technically sleep 10, but are only allow 8. The snow plow doesn't plow the street before 10 am on the day we leave, but luckily we just check out and play in the snow in front yard until the street was plow. Overall, I wouldn't mind coming back again.

Not Clean!

We arrived to a home that was not cleaned after the previous stay. Nothing was cleaned, bedding, toilet, shower, kitchen etc. everything looked as though the previous guest just vacated. I contacted Vacasa, they promised a housekeeper. No one came. I spoke to the regional manager, he came to wipe down counters, replace bedding and lay out fresh towels. But he admitted that it should be disinfected and he didn’t do that. Also, he started washing the previous guests bedding, which I had to finish drying because I had to do my family’s laundry for the week. On the first night, we opened the pull out couch for my son, and were so disgusted! Old candy, crumbs and hair popped out of the bed! Again, I had to do the previous guests laundry. I had to wipe down the kitchen counters, stove and dining table, which were both sticky and crumby. I then had to sweep, which again had crumbs and food. We hadn’t even cooked at this point on the first night, I was definitely cleaning up after previous guests! Every day, they promised a housekeeper would come to clean. Every day, we were disappointed to learn a housekeeper couldn’t come. They basically relied on us, to housekeep for them. We were not even reimbursed for 1 full night’s stay, and we stayed 4 nights. The home was beautiful, the backyard was so precious. The location was also perfect, as we walked to a coffee shop, gelato shop, the beach and even the cutest public park. And the nearby market was also amazing. But honestly, their lack of COVID protocol, and just cleanliness in general was so off putting, we would never stay there again. Unfortunate, as other than the cleanliness, we would have loved this vacation home.

Very Nice

House was well supplied, clean and perfect for families with master bedroom and bath on the main floor and bonus family room, 2 bedrooms and full bath on the bottom floor, convenient to the nearest public beach and quiet neighborhood. Ice maker didn't seem to work but, everything else was fine. Definitely would stay again.

Avoidable Disappointment

I’d give the property 4 stars for the home and location. But after double checking via email 2 weeks prior to our trip, to make sure the very important to us, hot tub would be working and the internet would be accessible. No one responded, so I assumed everything as advertised would be working. We arrived to an ice cold hot tub and no internet. In fact no internet for our entire trip which due to employment and school, those amenities were imperative. The stress that this caused was not conducive to relaxing. It is also not relaxing to have to call Vacasa twice a day to see if things would be remedied. I spent at least 2 hours over 3 days trying to get things fixed. The hot tub was fixed on the last day and everyone was polite and apologetic. I book properties based on my families needs. Very disappointed that even though the weather was clear, the internet was out completely. Attention to detail and timing was not there. Owners and managers should be aware on the daily, if the crucial amenities offered that the customers are expecting are fully functioning. The difference between an excellent stay and a disappointing one. The small refund doesn’t remedy this avoidable lack of attention to detail. Sorry folks but this was not as advertised. Buyer beware and stay current on whether expected amenities that your family needs are fully functioning.
