Cozy upper level, one-bedroom apartment located at a small marina called Chut’s Boat Landing. Chut’s Boat Landing is nuzzled in the beautiful back sloughs of the Mississippi River. From the windows and deck you can see incredible river views, sunsets and local wildlife. Tournament Fishing hot spot right outside your door and just a short drive to downtown La Crosse, restaurants, hiking, and Mt. La Crosse Ski Area and Pro Shop.

Please Note:
*This property requires renters to walk down and up stairs to accesses property. Boat owners docking at the marina may also be using these stairs.
* The apartment is open concept and does not have a door separating the living room and bedroom.

We absolutely loved our stay. We had everything we needed and were pleasantly surprised with all the personal touches provided. We really enjoyed using the kayaks provided and the views of the river were fantastic. From the outside the place doesn’t look great but once you step inside it’s so nice. Great communication with the host.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful place! Accommodations were wonderful…deck, washer/dryer, bathroom, view. Great location…close to grocery store, restaurants, downtown shops and water front. Emily, the host was helpful and easy to work with! Truly enjoyed our stay and if we are ever in the area again would love to return.

What a great place! Emily, the host, was so friendly and accommodating. At the last minute we were able to add on two days to our stay which was so helpful. The apartment is located in such a beautiful spot - we loved sitting outside on the covered deck, surrounded by trees, looking out at the water. It was so clean and cute - so glad we found it and will definitely stay there again!

This was our second time staying at Emily’s place. Same great spot this time around. Emily & Rick were super responsive and helpful. It’s well appointed with everything we needed.It’s great for just a couple (maybe my partner and I will get out here again just the two of us one of these days) or for a family (we were three, two adults plus a teen). I appreciated the fact that the deck has a ceiling fan (which helped me have some peaceful, mosquito free time on the beautiful deck)!

We loved this little apartment on the Mississippi. Private, quiet, comfortable with great views of the river. This was the perfect place for a relaxing get-a-way for my husband and me. Close proximity to downtown and plenty of room and cozy spaces if we just wanted to stay in. We enjoyed hiking at nearby Grandad’s Bluff and across the river at Great River Bluff State Park. Took a riverboat cruise and ate some great food at Buzzard Billy’s and Tokyo Fusion. We also spent lots of time on the porch over looking the river drinking coffee and playing board/card games. Thanks for a wonderful weekend. Highly recommend!

Amazing place! Perfect for our fishing adventures!Was clean, well maintained, and had all the necessary amenities. Great view of the river and marina. We docked our boat at the marina (just steps down from the front door). It was perfect for our stay where we spent the whole time fishing! Thank you.

Great River Getaway

Emily was great to communicate with. I had worries about bringing a boat, and I asked a TON of questions, and she was so helpful and very open to question. The property was clean and beautiful. I suggest a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the water!

Lacrosse weekend river stay

We stayed here over UWL graduation weekend. I choose this as it was close to everything, on the river, and we did not have to share space with anyone. The place was very clean and super cute inside. The owner gave me easy instructions and was easily available by phone when I needed to call. I would highly recommend this place!!

LOVELY property right on the water

We loved Emily’s place for many reasons. It was a lovely getaway. Quiet, on the water, spacious, clean. We enjoyed taking a kayak out in the early morning, which is such a nice perk. Location feels tucked away but it’s really conveniently located. Emily was a lovely host—responsive and gave us some great recommendations. Would definitely love to come back.

Chut’s Landing

We had a wonderful stay at Chut’s Landing in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. We loved the layout of the house, the decor, design, and use of space. It was so clean!! We loved the king bed, the comfy living room furniture, the WiFi, beautiful bathroom, wonderful kitchen, nice breakfast bar! We had a wonderful time. Emily & Rick have thought of everything. Your place is very well-appointed. It was very quiet& peaceful. Beautiful views. Very calm & relaxing. It made for a really welcoming stay. We hope to stay here again! Thank you very much!

Lovely weekend in Lacrosse

A beautifully clean place, with lots of nice little snacks and bathroom amenities and a well stocked kitchen! It felt so peaceful and secluded since it's on a steep wooded bank. We enjoyed our stay very much!.

Nice apartment

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet apartment. The apartment was very clean with a comfortable bed. The hostess had a variety of snacks, coffees, teas and toiletries available for us. We enjoyed our dinner on the deck with a view of the marina.

Hi, my name is Emily and I will hopefully be your host for your upcoming vacation to La Crosse Wisconsin. My husband, 3 daughters and I are self-proclaimed “River Rats” and we love to share our passion with all those around us. As lovers of the mighty Mississippi River, it has been a dream of ours to own a Marina. That dream came true in December of 2021, when we purchased a small marina called Chut’s Boat Landing. With the marina came a home. We worked diligently to fix it up and are slowly turning it into two units. Currently the upper unit is ready to be rented out and we would love for you to stay with us.
