Welcome to Willow Cottage nestled in the tranquility of the Nahant Thicket Wildlife Sanctuary. Sited a block from the ocean's edge, the wharf and beaches are within walking distance. This 1900 era cottage has lofted ceilings and modern amenities, including an ample kitchen, laundry room, newly renovated bathroom and office with daybed. Two bedrooms offer a king size bed and a full. Enjoy the afternoon sun on the enclosed front porch or on the back deck. Two car driveway for off street parking. Dog friendly! Monthly discount available.

Everything we needed in a beautiful location

What a great home! This property was exactly as pictured and the host provided everything we needed to have a relaxing, enjoyable stay in the beautiful resort town, Nahant. I would definitely recommend this home to others.

Quiet Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The home was the perfect size for us two and our dog. We enjoyed our walks in the quiet neighborhood and beautiful views of the sunset by the water. We also explored the travel guide provided on things to do nearby. I could definitely see us visiting again.

Vacation in Nahant/Salem

A beautiful vacation spot! Greg was a phenomenal host! All instructions and information was clear and easy to access. The property was clean and absolutely beautiful. The beaches close by were stunning. Our dog had a great time and loved the fenced in back yard! Overall had an amazing experience!

Loved Willow Cottage!

I stayed at the Willow Cottage in Nahant for a full month while working remotely and spending time with family nearby. The cottage had everything I needed and was clean, nicely updated/decorated. It was cozy and quiet. It was just a few minutes' walk to a few beaches. The owners were extremely responsive and very nice! I would definitely stay at Willow Cottage again and I would highly recommend it to others.

Comfortable Cottage

The four of us were very comfortable at the cottage. We enjoyed the deck, grill and screened sun porch. The owner was very responsive and the cottage had everything we needed. My intention was to just use Nahant as home base for several day trips in the area. We loved Nahant so much, we spent a day and a half just enjoying its beaches and charm. There were beach chairs, toys, ice chest and a wagon for us to use. Don’t miss Forty Steps Beach and the views from Lodge Park (accessible through the research centers gate. I’d certainly stay here again.

Perfect Cottage Getaway

My family and I took a weekend trip to Salem, MA. It was a perfect stay outside of downtown Salem. It was a little drive to downtown but the drive to Salem from the cottage was very easy and scenic. The cottage was perfect for the 3 of us! It was very clean and we had everything we needed! The host was great as well. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for a friends get away

For 3 picky women who can’t agree on what to eat to agree on a place as perfect says something about how wonderful this place is. Two big beds and one nice firm daybed each with its own room as well as a great outdoor area. Everything is just so perfect.

Amazing little gem on Nahant

We spent a week at the cottage and found it charming, comfortable, clean, and very well appointed. There were many small thoughtful touches that made us feel welcomed and at home from the time we walked through the front door. Being surrounded by a wildlife area provided a calm and quiet environment, and just a short walk to the beach with great views of the Boston skyline.

Easy to rent. The host was easy to communicate with. We did have a leak in the skylight during a downpour which was taken care of immediately.

Celebrating 16

We gathered a few family members, including 2 family poodles, for a celebration of love, family, womanhood, and turning 16. This lovely, quiet, thoughtfully decorated Nahant cottage was the perfect setting. Everywhere in the fresh, beautifully hued oasis were spaces to enjoy and relax. The sunporch and living room were filled with comfy chairs and couches. The private back deck was great for morning coffee and lounging. The pups had a safe place to run and visit, get excited over bunnies, and play. Forty Steps and Tudor beaches are just super easy walks, and everything you need for the beach is provided. The toiletries were of great quality and pleasing scents. The kitchen was filled with all necessities, down to the pups’ needs! The beds were superbly comfortable, and each room was an inviting sanctuary. Beauty, peace and thoughtful intentionality. A perfect getaway in an idyllic local!

Very impressive. Super clean and we had everything that we needed. The host was super easy to communicate with. Great location for quiet time and to be close to beaches. Overall, I would totally recommend this place.

Comfortable home near beaches

We reserved this house because it is pet friendly but later decided not to bring our dog. It would have been perfect to bring the dog with flooring and a set both inside and out that accommodates dogs. Many people had dogs that they were walking on leashes. The house was very clean and did not smell like pet at all. Both beds were very comfortable and the air conditioners kept the house cool during one of the hottest weeks of the summer. My parents were with us for a few days there for a total of 4 in the house. There was plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed the back deck which was very inviting in the morning and evening with comfortable furniture, outside eating area, grill and Edison string lights at night. It was a quiet area for a relaxing stay.

Amazing haven.

Greg was an excellent host. The property was amazing, sandwiched between two bird sanctuaries. It was super quiet here and beaches were easily accessible. When one of the bicycles had a flat tire and we couldn’t keep it pumped up, Greg had another bicycle delivered by that evening. The house is incredibly well-stocked, and the bed is very comfortable. There’s a nice little small library in the office, and all of the items you could need to go to the beach. The backyard was lovely to hang out in at night. This is an excellent rental. Highly recommend!
