This pet friendly house has been completely redone and everything is bright, modern and brand new! You can sit on the deck and watch the sailboats or sit at the firepit and roast a hotdog with firewood provided! You are just minutes from beautiful Pere Marquette Beach! The house is fully stocked with everything you should need. Just bring clothes! Plenty of room to park your boat trailer!

The lower level of the house is like a separate living space with its own bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen and full living room. It is perfect for two families traveling together or one big family that wants space. You can't go wrong.

Great accommodations, great kitchen supplies, great all around. Too early of a check out esp with the check out list of things to do. We appreciated the fenced in yard and the house was truly pet friendly.

Annual trip

This was a new to us home for an annual trip. We had plenty of space and everything we needed for 6 adults, 5 kids and a dog. Close to everything and well taken care of.

We Would Stay Here Again!

We really enjoyed our stay on this property. It was cute, comfortable, and clean and had everything we needed and more. We were only there two nights, but we wished that we could have made use of more of the amenities like the fire pit and yard games that were provided. We did not bring our dog this time, but we would love to do that in the future. Overall, we highly recommend this property.

Family Vacation

Thank you for sharing your property. Your online listing really hit the mark with accuracy and we certainly appreciate it! Each year after our family vacation, we ask each other if there was anything negative about the stay we want to share with the owner. This year...nothing that is in the control of the property owner!! Congrats. Things we enjoyed about our stay. Location (a lot of things to do nearby), yard (we travel with dogs) was fenced in and also gates on the patio/deck--fantastic, house (set up was amazing with room for all of us to sit in the living room and dining space), basement set up a huge plus), clean/well cared for and communication with owner was everything you want it to be. Thank you for sharing your property

Well equipped and clean.

Our family stayed at this home while in town for a wedding. It had everything we needed and was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy our time together. Beds are comfortable and she has thought of everything for the kids too.

This was an awesome property to stay at. The Host is very responsive. The location is convenient to everything you would need for a nice day by Lake Michigan. Highly recommend this place.

Family trip to Muskegon!

Wow - Our stay was amazing beyond words! Myself, my husband, my 3 year old daughter, my mom, my brother, my brother in law, my grandmother & her fur baby Charlie, all stayed at Melinda’s home together. As we first entered the home, we were in awe! We couldn’t believe how clean the home was and all of us absolutely admired the decor. The home was so cozy and welcoming. Melinda has accommodations for everyone - even the fur babies and little ones! We absolutely loved the playroom/game room in the basement. My toddler had to try out every toy. I also loved all of the decor around the home, showing Melinda’s love for fur babies. She even supplied a cage and food/water dishes! I couldn’t get over the adorable toddler bed either. The location was perfect, it took us barely 5 minutes to go over to the beach and lighthouse. We also went over to Grand Haven in the evening to eat pizza and watch the musical fountain - that was only a 20 minute commute! The view of the water from the home is beautiful as well. On our day of check out, we ran into a medical emergency with my grandmother who is diabetic. We contacted Melinda in panic because we knew we wouldn’t be able to check out in time, due to how ill my grandma was. Melinda was so understanding and accommodating - she told us she would reschedule the cleaning crew and to take as much time as we need. So not only was the home amazing, but Melinda is an outstanding host! We definitely hope to return. Thank you again, Melinda! :)

Wonderful Accommodations

The property was clean and spacious. Other than the signage about pets, there was no evidence (smells, or hair) that pets were past guests. We took a gamble because two in my party are allergic to dogs, and both did just fine while taking their normal allergy medication. Overall, it was a great stay.

Wonderful vacation house

This house was perfect for our 2024 family vacation! Great location, tons of space, fully stocked and everything you could ever need for a fun day at the beach. The kids loved having an ice cream shoppe just around the corner too. 😊 So much fun!

Great property to share with family

The home was clean and beautiful upon arrival. My husband and I were there with 2 other family groups. The basement worked out well for a nephew and his wife and teenager. We had 4 adults and a pre-teen in the rooms upstairs. The kitchens and bathrooms were well stocked. There was plenty of beach towels for everyone. The cornhole game was a plus, and family members played several times. It was a great pet friendly property. Having the fenced in backyard and patio was really helpful. The deck and backyard with firepit were well used by all. The beach supplies in the garage were awesome and very helpful! The property is a short drive to the beach. It's easy to walk to businesses in Lakeside. Communication with the host was easy. When some water backed up in the laundry room floor drain after a rainstorm, I received texts and a phone call promptly. We had full use of all plumbing after the water subsided several hours later.
