In the large fenced yard, enjoy outdoor gatherings around the fire pit. Inside, find ample space, child-proofed amenities & games. Conveniently located to downtown area; there are endless possibilities for fun and relaxation. We have 2 Adult size Kayaks, 2 bikes and plenty of firewood for a cozy evening fire. There is no need to pack a stroller, beach wagon or gear; we got you covered. Come visit us for a stress free get away.

Our home is family-friendly and all are welcome. We can accommodate large groups with plenty of room to stretch out. We have outside & inside dining areas with extra folding chairs and portable table so everyone can sit together for meals. You can BBQ on the large propane grill and have smores in the evening around the fire-pit. We have everything to make that happen.

Enjoy the day kayaking and an evening bike ride there are so many things to do and close to all the fun!

Family Get away

The property is ideally located to the shores of Lake Michigan and other amenities. We loved the nearness to a local park and the nice deck and backyard where we able to eat outside and enjoy a campfire. A wonderful experience and the kids want to return next year!!

The house was great and big enough for our family to relax. I really appreciate the extra ammenties that were offered including towels, kayaks, and beach supplies. It had easy beach access being a mile away and the frosty oasis ice cream shop which is a block away had great ice cream and food. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

We had a really lovely week! The house is charming, and it accommodated our big group very comfortably. We had a mix of adults and teens, along with one 4 year old, and we enjoyed every aspect of this property - the playroom, grilling out on the deck, the well-appointed kitchen, games, and proximity to the beach, shopping, Frosty Cove, and hiking. Tonya was so easy to work with, and has created a sweet little home away from home for her guests.

Great stay! Host was wonderful!

My family and I stayed here for two nights. House was nice, clean and beds were very comfortable. The only two negatives were the shallow steps to the upstairs and the upstairs was a little stuffy. Host was great to us. Communication was very thorough.

Thank-you Kim! We appreciate your kind words and glad you enjoyed your stay. Yes, it can get a little warm upstairs on those hot summer days. We appreciate your feedback and we disclose to our guests before renting and a reminder before their stay of some of the quirks of our home. Although we have central air conditioning, a window a/c, fans and suggestions to stay cool upstairs it can still be a bit stuffy on the hot days. Also, the stairs are great for the little ones but we inform everyone before renting that Adults and teens should take them slow because they are a bit short. I’m glad you and your family enjoyed Michigan Adventures and we were able to assist you with your vehicle parking after check-out. Take care. —Tonya

Perfect home for our large family

This house is very clean, was spacious enough to accommodate our large family. Has a lot of toys for the little ones to play with,has a large fenced in backyard for the little ones to play in. Nice fire pit for the adults to relax by. Beach is a very short drive from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Cute Place Near Lake

We enjoyed our stay overall. The bedrooms were layed out well and fit our group perfectly. The kids enjoyed the play area and playing in the yard. We appreciated the variety of games and outside toys provided. The host was great at communicating and helping with any needs we had. Only real negative was that the upstairs bedrooms did not all have air conditioners and with the temps high during the daytime it made for some stuffy, uncomfortable temperatures at night. Would recommend and even consider staying here again in the future.

Everything is close by so you get the convenience of the location and the size of the home which easily accommodates 14 guests. The size of the home allows your group/family to all stay together in one place. The home is set-up with all the conveniences of home so you have a comfortable stay without the waterside expense.
