Custom Beachfront Home, Oceanfront Oasis to relax and recharge.

This is a custom built oceanfront home with spectacular views of the distinctive blue green waters of the Atlantic Ocean and pristine beaches of Emerald Isle. Our expansive deck allows everyone room to spread out enjoying the ocean breeze and either the sun or shade, you decide! Two outdoor showers for your convenience.
This spacious home has all the amenities you will need. Feel free to use any of our beach gear, chairs, tents, toys.

You can grill outdoors on the deck or enjoy using our top of the line Thermador gas range. Of course you are only 10-15 minutes from the wonderful local restaurants of EI if you choose not to cook.

Washing off that sun and sand is easily accommodated in either of the two large walk in tile showers. No need to worry about running out of hot water either as we have a tankless hot water heater.

Our home is just 6 miles from Emerald Isle town center where you will find restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, mini golf, post office, and Bogue Inlet Pier. Swansboro, Morehead City, and Beaufort are all easy drives and are fun to explore. Hammocks Beach State Park, the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores and Fort Macon offer great activities for the whole family. Bring your bikes and ride on the bike path that stretches the length of Emerald Isle.

We typically require 7 day stays during peak season but are happy to try to accommodate your desired length of stay, just message me!

Windows and doors are to remain closed at all times. You are responsible for any damage/repair resulting from violating this rule.
The door to the Oceanfront deck opens on right side only. The left side is fixed. Turn handle toward ceiling and turn knob to lock/unlock.
Doors are on sensors. HVAC will stop if they are left open. Please be sure to snug them up. Please use our foot path to the beach, staying off dunes.

Beautiful, clean, private home!

The ocean views from the home were spectacular with easy private access to the shoreline. The home was clean and modern. The owner, Penny, was very welcoming and made sure our stay was comfortable. The location was perfect with only a short drive to Emerald Isle. Our family of six enjoyed our 4 night stay!!

Home Away from Home

Our stay was a spendid one! The location was great as it gave us access to stores and restaurants. The decor and design of the home was charming and refreshing. Avid communication with Penny was to my liking. She was a wondeful and attentive host and I hope to work with her again in the future.

Beautiful views and home

We just stayed for 2 days but had a wonderful time. Loved seeing the ocean from our bedroom windows and the space was perfectly appointed for us. Even better than the pictures.

Fantastic House with spectacular views from every room!

Our family has been coming to Emerald Isle for decades. In fact, they built the second house on Emerald Isle, The Dean Cottage. It is still standing and rich with history, just a few miles down Ocean Drive! We love the quiet beaches, the emerald waters and needed a larger cottage to accommodate our growing family. This house was a perfect match and Penny was the perfect host. She was very responsive, the house was exactly as pictured and described, the check in process was incredibly easy, and the house was immaculate. We would absolutely return in a heartbeat.

Perfect place on the beach

What a gem! The inside of this house was clean, updated and cozy. We went with our 8 and 5 year old which had no problem staying upstairs in the bunk beds. They even had an attached bathroom to their room which was helpful at night. Right across the hall was the primary bedroom which had its own attached bathroom as well! Private trail to the beach, outdoor showers, beach toys, chairs, shade structures this place had everything we needed. Wonderful place to stay

So much more than expected

We knew from the pictures this was a beautiful house, but the pictures do not do it justice. The house is stunning and the attention to details make it phenomenal. From the layout and decor of the house to the small, unexpected details the owner provided, the attention to every need is evident. This was our family’s first experience staying in Emerald Isle but won’t be our last. My family all agreed that coming back to this house is a must as it has spoiled us and staying elsewhere would pale in comparison. Working with the owner was excellent as well. She was not only professional but personable, too. She was prompt and clear in replying to questions and messages. She was helpful and insightful about the house, its amenities, and the local area. In short, we could not have had a better experience and are appreciative of the opportunity to work with her and to stay in her lovely home.

Beautiful oceanfront property

This was a lovely retreat for my husband and I and our two dogs. The home has beautiful ocean views from every room. The house is bright and clean with a wonderful deck which includes a shower and hose for easy cleaning of the pooches. The host was very accommodating and responsive.

Upscale 2 bedroom - perfect size for our family of 3

Hard to find a free-standing home with only 2 bedrooms and then to have that home being much newer construction, located mid-island out of the hustle and bustle of the more populated areas, steps from the beach. Oceanfront Oasis was a great find 3 years ago & the new owner PENNY HOOVER has been much better to work with than the original owner we had dealt with in year 1.

Home Away From Home

This place was truly amazing. When we walked in we were blown away by the stunning views from all windows of the house. Pictures do not do it justice. We had a small hiccup checking in but it was sorted out very quickly. Penny was amazing to work with and was VERY helpful with the whole booking and check-in process, as well as responding to any questions we had quickly. Truly a dream place to stay. Also, any place that allows us to bring our dogs is an extra bonus. Top notch amenities and all beds made when you arrive so you can start enjoying your stay as soon as you walk through the door. I promise you won't regret booking your stay at this beautiful home.
