Stunning villa situated directly on the Carribean, at the edge of Maya Beach. Very spacious, open floor plan. 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and 2 outdoor showers. Modern design with sliding glass doors to the patio and pool area.

Backyard has an infinity pool with swim up bar and sunken BBQ grill. Two Living areas and expansive rooftop patio.

staff quarters on property. Kayaks, bicycles, paddle boards and volleyball.

Your stay in cludes a personal chef, daily housekeeping and onsite house manager / groundskeeper.

200ft pier with huge palapa. The palapa has a bar, sun loungers, seating , 2 swim platforms, 2 over water hammocks and another hammock on deck.

5 bedroooms: 2 masters w/ king beds and outdoor showers, 3 guest suites w/ queen beds, All with ensuite showers. Pull out couch. 2 rollaway cots . crib upon request

Fantastic stay at Hideaway Villa in Placencia! It was clean, comfortable, and ideal for our group...plenty of space to hang out together and unwind. Great location and a peaceful, private feel. We’d gladly come back and highly recommend it.

We normally go to the Seaside, FL area for Spring Break but our college kids wanted to try something different. We had no idea what to expect. Hideaway Villa was absolutely beautiful! The Villa is on the Caribbean with it’s own private beach, pool & so many more amenities. We had 2 families & a total of 14 people. The Villas had room for everyone to have their own space. The staff was part of what made it such a great experience. Ovi helped plan our excursions & made sure we had everything we needed. Domingo kept everything in tip top shape. Patrick, the Chef, spent a lot of time helping plan meals, giving cooking tips to the kids & fun things to do in Placencia. His food was amazing. Everyone agreed this was a great trip. We will definitely go again!

If you are looking for the perfect place, this is it! From booking to check out, communication was outstanding! The amazing pictures don't do the real thing justice. Tons of great hangout space to enjoy the people you are with OR alone time. If you have a need it will be met by the amazing house staff! Patrick is an amazing chef, who can almost read your mind and anticipate whatever you need. Ovi and Dominga also went above and beyond. Im so glad this is where we chose to spend my 50th birthday. It's hard to keep 11 people happy...but they did it with ease! We will be back!!

I would give 100 stars if I was able to. This was the best family vacation ever! I cannot say enough about our experience. The staff are unbelievable and really made our entire experience phenomenal. Ovi, the host, was so attentive, kind and helpful. Patrick, the chef, was AMAZING. Communication with Erica was fantastic and she gave excellent recommendations. The home is beautiful, clean and had so much living space. We spent so much time on the pier which is so scenic and had so much living space for all 13 of us. We fell in love with Placencia and had so much fun taking the golf cart around. We were there a week ago and all of us are still reminiscing about this wonderful vacation and are hopes to return. Thank you Hideaway Villa for a trip of a lifetime.

Getting there already amazed us. Beautiful scenery and area. Neighborhood is upscale and super clean. House is amazing and beach is beautiful. When calm, you can walk around the whole area. Dock was amazing spot. But what made the house great was staff. Super friendly and nice people. Food was amazing and surprised us everyday. Ovi and Patrick and also daily housekeeping by Dominga was amazing. I can’t wait to go back .

Everything was great, the house, the staff and luckily the weather. It can’t ask for anything better in this part of Belize. My 6th time to Belize and this was the best.

There was a group of eight of us at the house for seven days The property and staff were excellent to say the least. The house keeping, condition of the house, the layout of both the property and the house are excellent. The staff went above and beyond during our stay. Ovi and Patrick were more than accommodating during our stay. Highly recommended for sure

Amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway Villa. Ovi took care of all of our questions and requests, Patrick made the best food we had in all Placencia (if in doubt, have Patrick make your food- better tasting and better price than most). Also shout out to the cleaning for sewing up the hole in the kiddo’s stuffy. Perfect for groups, lots of space- has every thing you need. 100% would come back!!

Beautiful place

The property and villa are amazing, especially the pier where we spent a good chunk of time! The rooms are all spacious and perfect for travelling with other couples. Erica was very attentive with her communication and provided great recommendations for spots to go. Definitely recommended the island hopping tour with Devon!

Stunning Setting

The house was nothing but spectacular. Description is accurate to every word. We can not tell you how much we enjoyed the pier. Weather was a bit cooler than hoped but still comfortable on pier reading, fishing or just taking in views. Erica made all communication extremely easy and sent a file with everything from restaurants to massages!

What an amazing place!

Such an amazing place. The house was immaculate, the support staff was so helpful and very nice. Chef Johnny had the most delicious meals. From the roof top views of the sunset to the beautiful pool to the palapa. There was not one disappointment, and always something to do. Truly a piece of heaven.

This is THE place!

Erica’s home, her staff & all of the amenities far exceeded our expectations. We traveled with a group of 8 (late teens & adults)—this property boasts of gorgeous views, anything you could need, and more. It feels like we have been spoiled for good. We spent so much time on the pier watching manatees, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding & swimming in the pool. Ovi, the house manager was available at all times & he helped us navigate meals, excursions (recommend the snorkel trip, mayan ruins & cave tubing), and anything we needed! You will leave her feeling refreshed & want to come back.

New Year fun

Had a great trip to Hideaway. Our family loved the property. The pool. The palapa. The property manager and chef were amazing extra bonuses. They’ve thought of everything with this Belize getaway. It’s a bit away from about everything. But we were there to spend time together. The owner was so great with her recommendations on activities. And all the details she gave us in advance made the process so easy and made our stay even more enjoyable. We did a roof top painting class. Massages. And lots of downtime with each other. Wonderful place to vacation with a big group!

Fabulous!!!

Just got back from a week at Hideaway Villa and all I can say is just WOW!!! The beautiful house is exactly as advertised and so beautiful! From the amazing roof top palapa that is the perfect spot to take in both the sunrise and sunset to the beautiful swimming pool and beach area. Our favorite spot was the palapa on the end of the pier. So many ways to enjoy all that Belize has to offer. Erica was very responsive and had all the answers to all of our questions. She also had so many recommendations on where to eat, things to do etc. Ovi the house manager was outstanding and was there whenever we needed anything. Chef Johnny went over and above to make all of our meals fun and totally delicious! Aleigh kept the house immaculate and everything was just perfect! Our group of 10 will definitely be back!!

1st trip to Belize

We returned early this week from this gorgeous home. I was nervous as we have never used VRBO outside of the US. From the minute we entered the house the staff greeted us with fresh made salsa & gave us a tour of the home & property. Johnny made delicious meals for our family of 8 and we requested fresh lobster for a meal & he found the largest tails we've ever seen. He was very professional and we loved hearing his stories. Having Aliah there to tidy up the place on a daily basis was wonderful. She like Johnny was very professional and helpful. Ovi is a gem. He cleaned the beach area every morning and made sure we had everything we needed. He helped plan our snorkeling & mayan ruin excursions and took care of getting us a taxi to go the village. Erica was very easy to work with and she checked on us to make sure everything was going well. We felt like we were at resort without all the people. I would highly recommend Hide Away villa. We will be back.

Already rebooked

We just returned from a relaxing 8 days at Hideaway Villa. WOW! This was a fantastic trip and we’ve already booked again for next year. Our group ranged from ages 2 to 70 and every person agreed that it was the best family vacation we’ve taken in years. The host Erica has cultivated a well researched list of professionals from massage therapists, boat captains, drivers and entertainment. Every recommendation was spot on. She was also extremely easy to work with and responsive to our requests and questions. The pool is clean, the house is spotless and the grounds are impeccable. The thoughtfulness of games and activities (volleyball net, sea kayaks, standup paddle boards, swings, ping pong table and a wide variety of board games) were well used and appreciated. The real star of the vacation was the Hideaway Villa’s staff. Ovi (property manager) , Ali (housekeeping) and Johnny (chef) provided an experience unlike any other that made this vacation feel like our previous experiences at the Ritz and Four Seasons with a personal touch. You won’t be disappointed with this property.

50th Anniversary Family Celebration

Hideaway was the perfect choice for our 50th anniversary family celebration! The accommodations of 5 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms was just what we’d envisioned. Ovi, Johnny and Alia were all a delight to interact with. The villa, with its infinity pool & location on the beach, was perfect for enjoying time together or on our own. The dock was great for reading, relaxing, peaceful morning sunrises, & in our grandson’s case, proposing to his girlfriend! Ovi arranged our excursions (sometimes with short notice), made suggestions & took care of our requests/modifications. He was always available if we had questions about the villa, & did a great job caring for the pool & grounds--the beach was nicely cleaned & raked every morning. Johnny provided great meals! We mainly wanted Belizean dishes & he was graciously flexible in making last minute requests/changes. His meals were not only delicious, but beautifully presented. Favorites were his Belizean rice & beans/stew chicken, fajitas & quesadillas with homemade tortillas, breakfast fryjacks, and lots of fresh vegetables. Alia's daily housekeeping was much appreciated! She happily supplied us with whatever we needed (beach towels always!) & also did laundry when we requested. Our communication with Erica & her team was easy/responsive–she was patient & kind with my many questions! Hideaway Villa is an excellent choice for a fun & memorable vacation.

Incredible!

We just got home after our week at the Hideaway! From the set up of the house to the incredible staff, it was impressive. Erica made planning our trip so easy. Her communication was great and she was quick to answer any emails and get us set up. -The decor and bedrooms were perfect for our group: We had 8 adults and 4 children- it was so nice that every bedroom had an ensuite bath, plus the other bathrooms. The kids loved the outdoor showers, too! -The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance we could need. We didn't cook much ourselves because Johnny's cooking was delicious! -The pier/dock was an unbelievable place to hang out, and we even saw manatees yesterday! We also saw big iguanas and a capybara! -It was great to have so many different areas to spend time- it seemed like we all could have had our own place if we wanted! -As far as the staff goes, they are simply wonderful and just all around good human beings. We felt pampered and well-cared for all week! -When we arrived, Ovi started with a tour of the house and rum punch! He helped to make sure the beach and pool were ready to go every morning, and helped us with everything we needed throughout the week. He even cut coconuts for the kids! -Johnny is AWESOME! His meals were delicious and he worked SO hard to make sure we were happy! We had him cook most of the week for us. His food was delicious and it was easiest for a group our size (with kids) to have dinners at the house. He was so fun to be around and we feel like we made a good friend this week! He was quick to pivot if we changed our plans, and even made a beautiful birthday cake for my mother in law! He was kind, respectful and generous to us all! I don’t think I have ever tasted such good homemade tortillas…we all agreed the shrimp quesadillas were the best we ever had! We are very picky eaters and consider ourselves to be foodies- he did not disappoint! -Alia did a wonderful job with housekeeping, as well. The house was very clean when we arrived, and it was a treat to have our rooms cleaned and made up everyday. -We have rented several VRBO’s in the past (in the US and abroad), and this property and staff is among the best we have rented. We were able to gather our whole family (who is scattered across the US) and spend some much needed, wonderful time together in paradise. We sincerely hope to come stay again in the future!

What an amazingly beautiful property! The house is spectacular, the staff is top notch and the location is perfect. I honestly could have spent the entire two weeks of our vacation nestled in this five star plus property! The house is surrounded by breathtaking views — the rooftop palapa overlooking the beautiful ocean in one direction and the lush mountains (a perfect place for a sunset happy hour or art lesson) from the other direction; or peering from the 2nd floor balcony into the pool and to the ocean; from the hammock or lounging on the beach - the views are spectacular. Or, just sitting at the kitchen island can provide the most relaxing of views. The staff is exceptional and provide an immersion into the Belizean culture. From making sure you are happy & comfortable to keeping the house and grounds perfect, the staff adds a special touch to the charm and comfort of the property. And, after a long day of activities, the beds/linens are perfection! The bedrooms were quiet even with those early risers or night owls - there were zero issues of noise level. Last but not least - when you can entertain teens in a house for an entire day or more - it must be special! The property provided kayaks and a standup paddle board, a volleyball net on the beach and ping pong table along with bicycles. No bored teens on this trip! Hideaway Villa exceeded our expectations. We will be back next year!

absolutely stunning home on private beach and volleyball court !

from the moment we walked in and saw the ocean we were completely taken away with this house. It’s probably the nicest home in Placencia with the most beautiful resort style pool overlooking your own private volleyball court!!! I loved the hammock that is nestled right next to the ocean. The bedrooms each have their own bathroom excellent decor modern get very comfortable. The house had everything you needed in the kitchen. the staff was outstanding and very helpful with the lay of the land and where to go for all of our excursions and events that we had planned -very easy to work with I would definitely book this house again on our next trip to Placencia… by far the most beautiful home . Love the 3rd floor rooftop deck ! ask for drumming lessons by the pool and rooftop painting !! Golf cart was provided and we went everywhere with it !!!

Tropical Paradise

Property is absolutely amazing ! House is very big with 5 bedrooms and the infinity pool looks over your own private beach and the ocean. The staff are all so helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Hideaway Villa to anyone !
