The Space:
Modern coastal decorated, 2 Bedroom, 2 Full Bath Condo that sleeps 6 comfortably. Discover the perfect blend of style, comfort and convenience in our well-kept, renovated condo. New bunk bed with queen and twin in the second bedroom. We provide a starter coffee pack and koozies for you to keep.
Our property offers: 24 hour front gate security, Heated Junior Olympic Pool with 15 person hot tub, tropical Beach, Marina, Tennis/Pickle ball courts. Enjoy the newly re opened ISLAND GRILL pool bar!
Guest Access:
You have then entire condo to yourself. We have a 24 hour self check-in service with local Vacation Rental Management Support.
The Neighborhood:
There are many areas to sit and watch the sun rise or gaze at the waves including our new tiki hut perched over the ocean. Nearby you will find Harry Harris Park. A wonderful waterfront park with playground for the kids and plenty of room to walk on the oceans edge.
Getting Around:
DRIVING DIRECTIONS
If you are arriving via car and have a GPS / SatNav system in the car, please use 500 Burton Drive, Tavernier, Florida as the address. If you do not have a GPS device, you can find us from the mainland by taking the Florida Turnpike south to Exit 4 - Homestead/Key West. This is the Turnpike Extension that will connect you to Route US 1 in Florida City, which takes you through the Keys to Key West at the very end of US 1.
Please be aware that speed limits throughout the Florida Keys are strictly enforced. Driving Route 1 to Key West is one of the most beautiful drives there so TAKE YOUR TIME. Please be especially careful through the Big Pine Key area as this is a Key Deer Refuge. Speed limits are reduced in this area. You can reach Ocean Pointe by following Route 1 south from Homestead, over the 20-mile causeway, past Key Largo and making a left onto Burton Drive at mile marker 92.5, just before the Circle K convenience store and Dairy Queen in the median. Ocean Pointe is approximately half mile down Burton drive on your right.
GETTING HERE WITHOUT A CAR
We understand that some of you will be traveling without a car. We would not recommend this, as there are many places to visit, and it could be significantly more expensive. Ride share apps such as Lyft and Uber are available in the area. Some possibilities to explore:
The GREYHOUND KEYS SHUTTLE has daily scheduled departures from the Miami Airport to all areas in the Keys.
CAR PARKING
Parking is provided for two cars on site and is easily accessible to the unit. Please be aware that all guests must be registered prior to coming, and the plate numbers of cars provided.
Other Things to Note:
MARINA RESERVATIONS
Please note that we do not manage the marina and cannot guarantee availability for boat dockage. You will have to contact the Dockmaster at Ocean Pointe, please contact Oasis Vacation Rentals for the Dockmaster email address.
You will be required to submit a copy of the vessel insurance and registration along with the trailer registration and room confirmation. Please be sure to attach all required documents during your initial submission as failure to do so will delay our ability to process your request.
Use the Ocean Pointe Marina Amenity Reservation form to submit your request and required documentation directly to the Ocean Pointe dock master. To ensure you are able to use the marina and facilities prior to submitting a request, please see the general rules below:
Rules/Regulations/Restrictions:
• All operators of vessels in the marina must have a copy of a current insurance declaration page indicating a minimum of $300,000 bodily liability and $100,000 property damage coverage on file with the dock master.
• Owned or commercially rented vessels must be registered and insured or rented in the name of the owner or registered guest staying on the property.
• Vessels must not exceed 28ft registered length. (Note: maximum beam 9’6”)
• Jet Skis, Wave runners, Sea Doo's or other PWC are not allowed on property or in the marina at any time.
BEACHES
The Florida Keys isn’t really known for its vast beaches. We are a series of islands made up of coral rock. We do have some small beaches that are accessible but they are nothing like the beaches you will find on the west coast of Florida or the Miami/Ft Lauderdale area. The closest public beach is Anne’s Beach which is in south Islamorada. The best way to experience the Keys is to get out on the water. We have world class fishing, boating, diving, snorkeling, and kayaking!

David and Elizabeth Finch, owners of Ocean Pointe Suites, 3212, have been vacationing in Key Largo since 2000 with their 3 children being born and growing up along the way. During that time, we had been looking for an investment property that would give us ocean views, on-site marina, on-site beach, a pool/Jacuzzi, a tropical vacation feel every day and most importantly, a place to make memories with our family. After stepping on property at Ocean Pointe in 2013, we knew we were home. Until we retire at Ocean Pointe, we want to share our home with as many families as possible! We hope you love our condo as much as we do and create many lasting memories!
