Horrible horrible horrible- don’t rent this place
Worst stay we have ever stayed at while visiting in Palm Springs. The property manager and owner refused to assist with the multiple problems that arose during our stay. To start, the third day of our six night stay started with the AC going out. The entire downstairs smelled of burnt electrical. We found out the unit was over 40+ years old and the owner refused to pay to have it fixed. Instead, we were offered to move rentals or have portable AC units delivered which we were told would cool down the entire house. This was a lie as we only received two units, and one of them didn’t work. Not to mention, these were not delivered until LATE the afternoon of the incident when we called about this issue very early that morning. We decided to purchase an additional unit to assist with the AC issues and fuses were blown. The property manager was incredibly rude and unhelpful when this happened and blamed us, the guests, for these issues. We had to open our back doors to help cool down the house and a huge sand storm came in which covered our floor in gross dust. We had two child in our group, one of them being under a year old. This was so unacceptable and we are beyond disappointed. Issues happen and we understand this, but the way it was handled was unprofessional and rude. It was over 100+ degrees the entire week and our rooms were consistently staying in the high 80s, covered in the dust, for majority of the week. Our baby developed a cough and we were all miserable in this rental.
The house is outdated and the only positive I can provide is the location. Absolutely will never stay in this rental again nor will I recommend this or any rentals with this group ever again.
