Disappointing to say the least...
Upon arrival, the instructions for check-in were inaccurate so we texted the host who provided the right code and instructions to enter. Upon entry, we found that the front door would not stay shut unless locked and when we left the house for the first time, could not lock the door as the instructions were not accurate AND the latch bolt was getting stuck inside the striker plate. We immediately contacted the host to have this addressed as at any time during our visit we could have been locked out. This was not addressed during our stay. Once inside, we noticed several electrical outlets falling out of the walls, the smoke detector hanging from the ceiling, the front porch had damaged slats and the ceilings in the bathrooms were peeling due to increased moisture. Also, there were broken cabinet doors, dirt in the couch cushions, hair on the bathroom floor and food on the oven racks. Needless to say, we did not use the oven and wrapped any pan used with aluminum foil as they were also dirty/worn and sticky. Very disappointing, especially since we paid a high host fee and cleaning fee for a home that was not cleaned appropriately.
