The Night Heron Villas are ideal for a couple or a small family looking for a quiet, secluded villa while still being able to enjoy all of the activities within Sea Pines. This charming freestanding villa offers a King bed with a Private Bath with Shower. The Living Room is outfitted with a Flat Screen TV, High Speed Internet & a Kitchen with Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave. There is a washer & dryer in the bathroom for your convenience. We had a great stay at Night Heron! The place was clean and tidy and was a great location (the path to the beach is right across the road and takes about 10 minutes to walk there). We rented bikes and enjoyed riding all over Sea Pines on the bike paths. It was great having the screened in porch! We really loved having breakfast out there every morning and we spent some time out there during a random thunderstorm as well!

Best Night Heron Villa

Lovely, well appointed villa. Clean and fresh throughout. Outdoor shower and a screen porch. Check-in was super easy -we received door code and Sea Pines pass the week before and all we had to do was drive up at 4pm. Will come back!

This place is decorated with nice tropic beach vibe. Beds are comfortable as well as furniture. Really nice shower and close walk to beach. We have stayed in Night Heron at least 4 times before and loved our stay but this one is now our favorite rental.

Extremely happy

Extremely clean and decorated very nicely. Close to community pool. Not far from the beach, but it is about a 10 minute walk. Neighborhood is landscaped nicely. Kitchen has all the essentials (the microwave is also an oven). Washer and dryer are high end. Bathroom was roomy. The back porch was cute and comfortable; nice to have that extra living space. The space was large enough for two.

Great renovation!

The renovation was near perfect. Construction was done right along with the decorating. The place is perfect for a family of 3 or 4. The deck area was a nice surprise. It was completely screened in and provided another room to spread out. The air quality needs addressed before the next family comes in. There was a mildew odor coming from the AC. The walk to the beach was reasonable. It is walkway #46. A bike cargo cart will not fit so bring your own wagon. Overall, a really nice place.

Small, but efficient

This was the second time we have stayed in one of these 1 BR cottages. The location, close to the beach, and the quiet area are the reasons we chose this cottage It has a well equipped kitchen, although I find the tiny, tiny space to be a bit of a challenge. Others, who don’t cook as much as I do, would probably not find that a problem. It is very nicely decorated, with upgraded finishes and nice touches. We didn’t have the kind of weather conducive to using the screened porch, but I’m sure it would be lovely in the Spring. I wish I had paid more attention to the fact that there is no cable tv, only internet. We are not tv addicts at home, but on vacation, it’s kind of fun catching up with cable news shows we used to watch. The owner was kind enough to allow us to use her Roku account and we definitely appreciated that. If I have one complaint, it would be that, upon arrival, it was necessary for us to find a broom to sweep off the entrance and stairs before we could safely enter. There were whole pecans everywhere. We later found out the management company had been there to try to set up a new internet system and could have cleaned the area in anticipation of our arrival. How they walked over the pecans without breaking their neck is a mystery to me. Also, we are fully aware that palmetto bugs flourish in SC, but we killed 2 in the kitchen during our stay. The exterminator report on the kitchen cupboard indicated that there had been no treatment since September 2022. I am a beekeeper and not afraid of bugs, but others might have found this a little “icky”. #6 Night Heron is a lovely cottage, perfect for a couple who wants quiet and privacy in a lush tropical setting.

Hi there, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the villa and the location! Cable TV can be accessed through the Spectrum App on the Smart TV, there is no physical cable box. Unfortunately, it was windy prior to your arrival and I personally swept the walnuts off the front porch and stairs, I apologize if more fell before you arrived. The regime over Night Heron takes care of pest control, and we have not had any complaints of Palmetto Bugs from recent guests, but I will be sure to call the regime and have them send pest control for a spray! We are glad you had a nice time regardless and we hope to see you again next year. Selena

Perfect Hilton Head getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd stay at Night Heron 6. Such a beautiful and lovely little bungalow that meets our every need! We did have an issue with the “Express Checkin” We arrived at Night Heron 6 at 3:55(check in is at 4:00) No vehicles were there but we waited as the Express Check In directions say in our packet “This is your express check-in packet. You do Not have to check-in through the Sea Turtle Getaway’s office. This enables you to go directly to the property on your arrival day” keyless entry codes are time sensitive and will not work before 4:00pm. Of course it says check in time is not a guarantee. We get that!! But we waited till 4:00 and entered and started unloading. My husband went into bedroom and came out saying “The bed isn’t made”. I started looking around and said “it isn’t cleaned” At 4:10 2 women came in and started cleaning. I said “has anything been cleaned??” I got “no English” We didn’t know what to do. My husband called Sea Turtles Getaways and explained our situation and she said we should have called, which is Not mentioned in Any of our check info. We left and waited as they “cleaned” the bungalow. It was super awkward, unacceptable, frustrating and an avoidable situation if Sea Turtles Getaways would have been clear in their “Express Check In” packet!!Even with the rough start we had a lovely stay!!
