Our family had a wonderful stay! The pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. The elevator was a major asset as we had a grandfather who has limited mobility. The house had everything we needed and shopping and activities were close. We hope to be back next year!

The house was very nice and in a great location. We really enjoyed the decks and the crows nest, especially for watching sunrises. The owners were very communicative and responsive to our needs.

Everything we needed in a great location….

Our family of 11 ranging from 8-71 had a wonderful time! Nick and Sarah are fantastic communicators and go above and beyond to ensure that questions are answered and whatever helpful tips they can provide, are given. The elevator was clutch and the beach was just a few minutes by foot. There were chairs for use, a wagon and shade provided, and the house itself had everything we needed with just the right amount of space to accommodate us. The pool was great, and although not used, the hot tub is a nice addition. We were so close to shops, restaurants, wild horse tours and water sport rentals. If I may say so, Big Bucks ice cream is the BEST, and Emory at Back Country Safari tours is incredibly knowledgeable and fun. Great vacay!

Family beach vacay

Overall lovely home. A couple issues with the pool being not heated on arrival and lack of garbage bags. We had a group of 10 staying for 4 nights eating at the home mostly so the garbage filled up quickly. Communicated with the owner and he said we had the one bag, right? Yes but we went through that day one and so we.went to the store for more house supplies. Feel that should be included. Overall good home though with quick access to beach.

Quiet escape

Our stay was great. Nick was always quick to respond. Pool was great. Hot tub jets didnt go up to full power, but was still nice to chill in. Crows nest gave beautiful sunset views. Would return:)Only things I would suggest is a wagon to take things to the beach and a scrubber tool to clean off the grill after use/prior to use.

Fantastic property for family vacation

Stayed here for a week with our family and another family. 4 adults and 5 kids under 7. The kitchen was well equipped. One of the days there was cold so we stayed in and made some play dough. We were able to make plenty of meals.I spent some extra to heat the pool and I wasn't sure how well it would work since many other houses said they couldn't have their pool heated that early in the season. The heated pool absolutely made the trip. We had a slight drizzle and the pool was great. It was fully stocked with toys and even some floaties for our little ones. I accidentally sent the pool heat fee twice, and within 15 minutes of receiving the second payment, the owner contacted me to let me know and refund the money.On our beach day, the beach closet was fully stocked with chairs, toys, and activities. Our friends brought some of their own stuff, but they didn't need to. The outdoor foot wash and shower were great to avoid tracking sand into the house.The outdoor yard with some swings and yard space was great for the kids to run around.The house is a bit smaller than it appears in the photos, but the dining table was huge and we were able to fit everyone. I picked this property because the furniture looked good quality and I was very pleased. Everything was solid and very comfortable.We also didn't have a million chores like some other places at check out. And they sent us a guidebook online, and it gave us some great recommendations and fun ideas.Honestly, hospitab

A Perfect Multigenerational Retreat – Comfortable, Convenient & Thoughtfully Designed

Our family of 11 (from 5 mos to grandparents) had a FANTASTIC stay at this beautifully designed and well-furnished home. Nick and Sarah were excellent hosts, responsive and helpful throughout our trip.The well-appointed kitchen made cooking easy, with multiple coffee appliances and an extra fridge in the game room—perfect for drinks and snacks. We loved that linens, bath towels, and pool towels were provided, and the beds were already made!The elevator was a game-changer, making every level accessible for those with mobility concerns, parents with infants, or carrying groceries. The heated pool and jacuzzi were a highlight, allowing us to relax and enjoy the space despite cool March temperatures (55–63F).Beach access was incredibly convenient, perfect for long walks, sandcastle building, dolphin watching, and beachcombing. While the ocean was too cold for swimming, the peaceful setting made up for it. The quiet roads were ideal for long bike rides, offering a great way to explore.This home is perfect for families, multigenerational groups, and outdoor enthusiasts, offering accessibility, comfort, and entertainment for all ages. We highly recommend it and would love to return!

Probably the best communication from a host we’ve ever encountered. The cleaning crew was slacking but at no blame to the host. Perfect stay otherwise.

Beautiful Home with everything you need for a great vacation!

The house was impeccable, the hosts extremely kind and responsive. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful time. Th kitchen is very well equipped with two a Coffee bar. I think my adult children were most excited about that. We had a member of our group with a physical limitation, so having an elevator was wonderful!! If you stay at this home you will have a wonderful, relaxing and comfortable vacation. Recommend 10/10 and we have been going on an annual vacation to beach/lake homes for 16 years so I know of what i speak, :-)

Excellent house!

Everything about Sunkissed was easy! Nick messaged us to let us know when the cleaners were finished and we were able to check in early. The house is exactly as described. The beds were cozy, bathrooms clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. There’s even a bonus fridge on the first floor. The pool outback is only about 4’ deep so all of our kiddos could stand which was a plus! *we opted not to heat the pool and it was warm yet refreshing! There’s an outdoor shower to rinse off and the first floor has a bathroom and kitchenette so it’s easily accessed from the pool. Beach access is 4 houses down the road, then walk on a nice trex board walk 2 blocks away. (Took us less than 4 minutes!) There’s a parking lot a block away which always had plenty of parking and we used it a few days to lug chairs and boogie boards to the beach. We brought some pool floats and sand toys but didn’t need to! They have everything you need, including beach chairs and an umbrella. It was nice having lunch in the screened in porch and we enjoyed breezy evenings up on the crows nest. This was our first time in OBX. We had a great vacation and would definitely stay at Sunkissed again!

What a great house! This was our first time to the Outer Banks. It was so fun exploring new places. Nick and Sarah were wonderful hosts! They supplied us with so much information on where to go and what to see. And, they were very responsive! The backyard is great! The weather was a bit chilly a couple of days but the heated pool made up for it. It was a short walk to the beautiful beach. The house is very well appointed and made for a very comfortable stay. It’s hard to pick a favorite spot in the house but I would have to say the screened in porch and the crows nest. 😊 I highly recommend Sunkissed and we look forward to visiting again.

Decompression time

Every year a group from my company gets together with some family members and we rent a house. Summer is our busy season and we're getting ready to go into or slower time so this is our way to decompress. We are a group of all ages and we have a blast doing this. This home was perfect for what we needed. You cannot go wrong renting this home. The host on top of everything. They go way above and beyond if you have a problem. Cannot rave about this place enough.

Great Location, amenities.

Host provided very helpful online guidebook prior to arrival. We loved the pool, hot tub, proximity to beach, restaurants and shopping. Plenty of room for our group of 9 adults and teens. Kitchen had great space for food prep and dining. Only negatives- cleaning done prior to arrival wasn't good- crumbs on couch, dirty underwear from previous guest under bed, carpet still had dust/bugs in spots. Few items were broken: kitchen drawer and gate, missing lamp knob. Host was super responsive and handyman came over promptly to fix everything. We were told the trash would be taken to the curb for us, but the company never showed up. We still had a great vacation!

Beautiful stay

My family and I stayed at this property for a week. Nick and Sarah had excellent communication and responded promptly before and during our stay. The house was beautiful, the pool was a good size, a shopping center was close by and the beach wasn’t too far away. The walk from the house to the beach was about an 8 minute walk at a moderate pace. The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars all around was because some of the sheets on the bed looked dirty.

Wonderful

What a great place. The location is perfect, relaxing, close to the beach and wonderful natural settings. (Only disappointment is that there were no wild horses to see on the beach when we tried), however, the entrance to the wild horse beach is only 4 miles away--same for lighthouse, nature trails and environmental center. Best case scenario is the convenience of bike rentals, super market, jet skiing, farmer's market and, of course, Dairy Queen. But so much more too. The hosts are amazing. They are so responsive and trusting. My family had a ball (so much space together and alone time). This property is highly recommended by us, wish we rented for two, rather than one, weeks! Vacation rental

The vacation home itself was very nice and accommodated all our needs. The maintenance to the outside of the property could be improved as there was trash on the ground around the back of the property, and it appeared that it had not been picked up from prior rentals. Also, the distance to the beach is rather Inconvenient if you have any physical problems walking distances. Our group particularly enjoyed the arcade.
