The Space:
Originally built in the late 1800s and recently renovated, this Victorian-style house is situated in the charming downtown area of Colorado Springs. Conveniently located for a night out on the town or a serene evening under the stars, the mornings offer an opportunity to explore numerous interesting businesses, excellent restaurants, and engaging activities within walking distance.

Upon entering, you'll be captivated by the striking combination of dark hardwood floors and granite countertops. The space has been tastefully decorated with a blend of Colorado-themed decor, providing a mix of convenience and luxury.

LIVING ROOM:
Relax in the living room with a 65” 4k Roku Smart TV equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, allowing you to continue streaming your favorite shows seamlessly. Additionally, there's a queen-sized pull-out sofa featuring a comfortable memory foam mattress for extra guests.

KITCHEN:
Kickstart your day with complimentary coffee and creamer stocked in the fridge. The fully equipped kitchen is ready for all your culinary needs, complete with essential utensils, pots, pans, spices, cooking oils, and even a pizza cutter.

BEDROOM SETUP
BEDROOM 1
The master bedroom boasts a full attached bathroom, an oversized layout, a spacious closet, and a luxuriously comfortable queen-sized bed. In 2020, we introduced a premium electric sit/stand desk, effortlessly adjustable with the push of a button. A 50" ROKU smart TV is strategically placed above the desk on an adjustable mount, allowing for comfortable viewing from the bed.

BEDROOM 2
This generously sized bedroom features large bay windows that fill the room with sunshine for over 300 days a year. When you're ready to retire for the night, a plush king-sized bed and high-quality bedding await you.

BEDROOM 3
The third bedroom offers a cozy queen-sized bed, full-length mirrors, and luxurious bedding, with large windows overlooking the front yard.

The bathroom adjacent to the living room is well-appointed with standard toiletries, a hairdryer, and makeup removal wipes.

The master bathroom comes pre-stocked with all standard toiletries, a hairdryer, and makeup removal wipes.

KID-FRIENDLY AMENITIES
For your convenience, we provide a pack-n-play, sheets, and a high chair in the unit, making your stay with children more comfortable.

BACKYARD
Step into the backyard, featuring a 5-burner BBQ, a wood-burning fire pit with seating, and a new 8-person hot tub. Enjoy a game of cornhole while grilling, making the most of the wonderful weather. Private parking is included, although the yard is shared with our one-bedroom guest house, also available on Airbnb. Whether making friends with neighbors or renting both spaces for additional guests, it's the perfect setting for a memorable stay.

Guest Access:
Enjoy full access to the main house and everything in it. Make yourself at home with full use of the kitchen and laundry room. The backyard is shared with our one-bedroom guesthouse, which is available to rent via Airbnb should you need more room for friends or family.

The Neighborhood:
A 5-minute walk from Tejon Street (the main street of downtown), the house is very close to tons of restaurants, coffee shops, and iconic Colorado Springs tourist hot spots. The home is located ideally between a commercial downtown and the local neighborhood; it is as close as you can get to the city while still having a backyard to grill in!

Since we are so close and walking distance to downtown, there are occasionally transients nearby. Our home is safe, fully-fenced, and we've never had any issues with trespassing. However, if you are from the suburbs and used to never seeing those in need, our home might not be the best fit for you. Like most downtown cities, there are sometimes homeless people in the area.

Getting Around:
Conveniently walk to great places to eat, drink, shop, and hangout. When we lived in the Victorian, we would frequent Odyssey Gastropub, T-Byrds, and Dos Santos just a few blocks away. Check them out for some outstanding food. Equally close by is the Phantom Canyon, our favorite brewery with great eats. Bingo Burger and The Skirted Heifer are close by as well in case you get any sudden burger cravings!

Other Things to Note:
For a seamless booking experience, a Rental Agreement is required for all reservations. Once your reservation is confirmed, we'll provide details for completing the agreement. We look forward to hosting you!

For a seamless check-in experience, you'll receive a unique code via message along with your check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival. You'll use this code for keyless entry.

We've also prepared a starter supply that includes paper towels, coffee K-cups, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash, and plush white towels! We hope these amenities add an extra touch of comfort to your stay.

We are legally registered with the City of Colorado Springs! STR-0559. Have no worries of your booking being shut down right before your trip!

***We frequently drain and refill our hot tub so that it is clean and sanitary for all of our guests! Our water comes from the Rocky Mountains at crazy cold temperatures in the winter - sometimes as low as 48°. Our hot tub heats at about 6° per hour which puts the hot tub heated to 102° later in the evening when it has been drained and refilled earlier in the day. You may see the temperature in the 60s or 70s when you arrive but rest assured it is heating as fast as possible and will be ready for enjoyment later in the evening.

Great little house, about 2 blocks from the Main Street
The house itself is very sweet, exceptionally clean and is well stocked. It’s an older style house and looks exactly like the pictures (inside). The beds are comfortable, there are games for the kids and adults and while we didn’t use the hot tub, there is one available to use if it pleases you. The owners left a nice snack box and some drinks and waters out which was a nice touch too. The house is 2 blocks or so from the Main Street and there is a 6ft high black fence surrounding the property. We walked the 2 blocks in search of dinner, and while the walk was easy and we encountered nothing untoward, it didn’t feel safe walking there with 2 kids and 2 grandparents…. Would just drive next time. The Main Street is vibrant and worth visiting. 4 stars because we are tea drinkers and we had to boil water on the stove as there wasn’t a kettle…. The stove is electric and very very slow…. Would stay again.

Extended family in town LOVED it!
It’s very close to my house and I didn’t have room for my extended family at my place. I took them over to check them in, it was so lovely. The hosts had turned the heat up, had lovely music playing, and had turned down the beds. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I only had my parents dry there, but could have easily fit another 4 family members and will definitely be renting this again when hosting family in town!

Great house close to downtown CO Springs
The owners put a lot of thought and attention to detail on the rehab of an older house. Bigger than I expected. Loved the off street parking as an option around back. Beds were comfy and house cleaners did an exceptional job.
