Captain Royce's cottage was completely renovated in 2019.

This cozy home is located on beautiful 2nd Avenue, which is Tybee Island's Bike path, so be sure to bring your own bicycles or plan to rent them while visiting. This is the best way to see all of Tybee! Make sure to sit on the front porch and enjoy your cocktails as walkers, runners, and bikers stroll down our beautiful quiet street! It is the best Street on Tybee!

The nearest beach access is only two blocks away and the home is only a few minutes walk to the Pier, restaurants, and shopping. Enjoy the sunrise on Tybee Island Beach and sunsets on Back Beach, all within walking distance from this perfectly located home.

The home features two separate living spaces (outside stairs go to the upstairs unit. No interior stairs). It is perfect for two families and the upstairs unit features gorgeous heart of pine flooring throughout, open living space with plenty of seating, a large 60" tv, brand new kitchen with microwave, refrigerator with ice on the door, dishwasher, and range/oven with a smooth top range. Enjoy afternoons on the huge porch overlooking the bike path. The gorgeous bathroom features a huge walk-in shower. The first bedroom has a queen size bed, closet, and tv. The second bedroom features a bunk bed with a full-size bed and twin bed, closet, and tv. There is also a full-size washer and dryer.

The comfortable mid-century modern downstairs living space has great amenities including a big screen tv, and a huge comfortable sofa, which is open to the custom kitchen with a smooth top range/oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker. There are two large bedrooms that are connected, one with a queen-size bed, closet, and tv, and the other with a full-size bed, closet, and TV. The renovated bathroom has a large tub/shower. There are 4 parking spaces for our guests.

There is a shower in the backyard with hot and cold water, a large picnic table, outdoor seating, and a front porch swing. Enjoy playing corn hole in the large front yard.

This property is ideal for families looking for a laid-back and quiet getaway.
