This charming old home was perfect for our short stay in Dunsmuir. Well stocked, lots of sleeping space and on a very quiet street. Loved the old arcade game in the downstairs game room.

Night in Dunsmuir

We have five kids and are driving from central CA to Washington state. We have a hard time finding hotels that work for us, but this house was perfect. Everything was just as it said it would be, and the host was easy to connect with and very responsive. Would stay again!

Wonderful Ski Week Vacation in Dunsmuir

We had an incredible time staying at this property while on vacation with another family to enjoy skiing and sledding near Mt. Shasta. The house was very clean and well maintained. The kids (ages 4 - 6) LOVED the pacman and foosball games downstairs. We loved that the house was well appointed compared to other vrbos we've stayed at (favorite details included measuring cups and tupperware for cooking and food storage,, end tables with built in outlets for easy device charging, a rolling clothes rack to hang up our wet ski gear was an awesome bonus. The washer and dryer were also in great shape and handy.)The host was communicative and checked-im to make sure everything was as expected. We also appreciated the check-out instructions were a low lift. Made it easy to pack up and get home without stress on our final day.House location is wonderful! Quick walk to a market and shops/restaurants and quick drive to skiing and sledding hot spots.Great experience! Definitely recommend!

Dunsmuir "gotta stay here"

We LOVED our stay here! Fantastic location, amazing quality to the home...honestly I expected much less in Dunsmuir!! This is classy, comfortable, fully stocked and has an amazing game room on lower level. When we were there it was pre snow, but amazing to have off st parking in case snow plow was needed. Amazing hosts SO friendlyand helpful. We will 100% be back in the future.

Great house for a group & great location

This place was perfect for a small group of friends. We enjoyed dinner at cafe maddalena and castle crags is so close! The house is in a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to anything you need. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, there were instructions for everything and the owners were quick to respond to any questions! I would highly recommend this place

Stay here!

Lovely house to relax in. Comfortable. Kitchen/dining room perfect. Great communication with the owner. A few minutes from fly fishing and Castle Crags State Park. We hope to stay again.

Great home and location. Walking distance to the local grocery store, very convenient. Beautiful, clean and spacious home. We really had a good stay, Plan to return in the future.

Great spot for family fun near the mountains

We came with family friends for a few days. Proximity to Mt. Shasta for skiing was great. We were also within walking distance to the Wheelhouse where we enjoyed a tasty dinner. The home was a lovely spot for gathering, cooking, eating and sleeping. Lots of entertainment options as well. Thanks so much for the wonderful stay!

Wonderful home

We had such a lovely time in this adorable Dunsmuir home. It is very clean and nicely renovated. The beds are comfortable memory foam and there is ample space. The kitchen is well stocked and we loved having all of the games to play with! Was the perfect launching point to a ski weekend and it was also an easy walk to the store, coffee shop and brewery in downtown Dunsmuir. Will definitely stay here again next time we come!

Quiet Hideaway

Cool Spot. Good jumping off point for fishing you could head North or South 10-15 minutes and be in some good fishing holes. Place was clean and the AC worked well, especially considering it was the hottest day of summer when we were up there. Walking distance to a market and few restaurants. Only about a 10 minute drive up to Mount Shasta (town) where there is more to be found.

Great location and updated touches

Home was great for our yearly Dunsmuir trip. Plenty of games including a Wii downstairs. Owners also provide plenty of streaming services on their Roku which was a nice touch and there's working AC. One of the best homes I've stayed in while in Dunsmuir.

Excellent House for our Family Gathering

We had a great time. It was my dad, my two brothers, and my boyfriend. It was a nice comfortable house. We loved the AC last weekend. We enjoyed french press coffee and meals outside under the rose arbor. The yard is beautiful and full of flowers and the house is older but beautifully remodeled with a classic style. We walked around town and took a quick drive to go to the Hedge creek waterfall and Sacramento river. We also made it to Yaks on the 5. Dunsmuir is a cool town. It was a fun trip for us. Thank you for hosting us!

Wonderful house and hosts

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 young children and used it as a base for skiing at Mt Shasta. The house was perfect for what we needed - very spacious and well laid out (seemed much larger in person than the impression I had from the pictures) and it even has a games room for kids downstairs (with a bar for them to serve the parents a drink!). The place is especially well kitted out for kids (computer games, card games, books etc) and I really recommend it for families. Overall, it was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very responsive in answering the few questions I had. Strongly recommend this place!

Christmas Wonderland

The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful Christmas Holiday. The owners communicated well and made sure everything was to our liking. My family and I were pleased. The place was easy to find, as well as getting on and off the freeway, but it’s located in a very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the tranquility. At night you could hear the train whistle off in the distance, my boys thought that was pretty cool. The fireplace added the perfect ambience and kept things toasty as the snow fell. Everything was grand, we made memories that will last a lifetime. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a great place to stay. Clean and homey. It's a good location close to the freeway, a convenient grocery store, and just down the road from place to grab a drink and food.

Mini family getaway

House was wonderful. Has a downstairs playroom to hang out with the family which that was the best part. House was well stock with accessories to use. Destination to the mccloud falls and hedge creek trail was closed by. Will definitely return to this home if I ever do come back to mccloud.
