Summary:

315 at D Sands Condominiums is a privately owned family condo with stunning ocean views. Located 30 steps up on the top floor, guests can enjoy a balcony, kitchen stocked with cookware, and cozy gas fireplace. This condo sleeps up to 6, with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living room. Guests get access to an HOA-maintained pool, as well as commercial grade Wi-Fi. The property also features an easy staircase down to the beach and is in the heart of town.



The Space:

315 at D Sands Condominiums is a privately owned family condo with stunning ocean views. Located 30 steps up on the top floor, guests can enjoy a balcony, kitchen stocked with cookware, and cozy gas fireplace. This condo sleeps up to 6, with a king bed in the bedroom and a queen bed and sleeper sofa in the living room. Guests get access to an HOA-maintained pool, as well as commercial grade Wi-Fi. The property also features an easy staircase down to the beach and is in the heart of town.



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.



This is a 3rd floor unit, there are 28 steps required to access the unit.

Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

Amazing Beach Stay

We really enjoyed the entire property it was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Easy access to the beach and good food. Overall everything was very enjoyable except our neighbors were loud and slammed the door repeatedly and at all hours of the day and night, but out of property management control as we didn’t want to complain as it would have been obvious who had reported them.

Good and Bad

Generally clean but there was a dirty comforter on one of the beds the owner replaced quickly after being notified. Parking spots are very tight and when we left the property at the conclusion of our stay, we found that someone had splashed some type of substance on the left front end of our vehicle. No damage, but unimpressed none the lessProperty is in a pretty good location for beach access but also right off the main road through town so it can be a little noisy if there is traffic. Overall enjoyed the stay

Furniture needs updating

The chairs and sofa were very low. The sofa in both 315 and 206 D Sands had small tear/wear spots. New taller chairs would make it easier on us as seniors, to get up.

Clean and great location

The view from there deck was amazing, and I thought the access codes to get into your door were cool. It was clean (literally no fingerprints on the dishes) and it had all of the necessities of a kitchen. The only thing that I didn’t like was the check-in process. We called in the morning to see if we could check in a little early due to getting to town earlier than we thought we would, and it was bad weather. We had to sit in our car for 8 hours until check-in at 4 even though our room was already cleaned, simply because the door codes don’t change over until 4.

Ashleigh, thank you for your review of 315, Original Swim! We're so glad you enjoyed those amazing ocean views and our keyless self check-in process. We also appreciate knowing our housekeeping team did a great job preparing the room for you and that it had all the necessities. I'm sorry to hear you had to wait in your car for our check-in time. Unfortunately, we rarely can accommodate early check-in's, and we're very upfront about it in both the rental agreement you signed and the FAQ we also send out. We do our best to communicate that and set realistic expectations for our guests so that we can help them plan their travel accordingly. Also, according to our housekeeping notes and the lock logs, the guests that departed the morning of your arrival left the unit in pretty bad shape and housekeeping was going in and out of Original Swim as late as 3:40 PM making sure it was ready for you and that nothing was missed. It sounds like they did a great job and that the time they took was well worth it to make sure you had a clean and comfortable condo. We sincerely hope that checking in at 4 p.m. didn't detract too much from your experience of the ocean views from a comfortable condo with a cozy fireplace. But we appreciate your feedback, and we hope to see you again!
