Quiet, private and serene home on the Gulf of Mexico. Sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 bedrooms plus loft. One acre lot with circular driveway and plenty room to park. Private dock for fishing and boats, boat launching one mile away. Enjoy evening BBQ’s, cocktails and magnificent sunsets on the porch overlooking the Gulf. Small daily fee for usage of amenities including swimming pool, tennis, gym, restaurant & more at St. James Bay, one mile from house.

Great waterfront nature venue.

Enjoyed the pier and easy access to water and fishing and nearby attractions and dining. Enjoyed the St. James Bay Country Club.

Great time at the Octagon House

We loved our time at the Octagon House. The views from the deck were wonderful. The house was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Views, Very Comfortable, Convenient

Enjoyed the Octagon house very much. Worked very well for our group of guys fishing in and around Carabelle. We found the house to be well equipped.

Great week!

The property was everything that we hoped it would be!!! Very peaceful and the view is amazing. The property has a excellent dock for relaxing or fishing. It is private and somewhat secluded but only a few minutes from shopping, attractions and great restaurants. House is clean and in great shape. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

Great stay.

We enjoy staying at the Octagon house. It's always clean and well stocked. The view is breathtaking. Even though it's located on highway 98, there is no road noise. Most relaxing weekend. Will stay again. Thank you and God bless!!! The Shannons

Thanksgiving at the Octagon

We had 2 couples and 2 kids stay and it was very accommodating. My in-laws, 2 cousins from Utah with their 2 kids, and my wife and myself. We had a couple of friends come over for Thanksgiving dinner and everything was great. Lived the dock out back with the spacious yard. Couldn't be more happier outside of not being able to use elevator( Our knees were hurting lol) but reasoning was acceptable. Give it a go, you'll live this house. We has no issues

Great stay.

Beautiful property and beautiful view. House had all we needed. Plenty of room and stocked well. Even though it is located on Highway 98, the seclusion, due to the trees around the property, made it so peaceful. Hurricane Nicole made landfall and thankfully was just a tropical storm before it hit. Just some rain and wind. Will stay again!

Amazing View! Beautiful loft!

This property was tucked away behind beautiful trees with an amazing view. A few more bath towels would’ve been great and there wasn’t much in way of decor. Very simple. A few more area rugs or small rugs would’ve been nice. The remote for fan in one room wouldn’t work and the water pressure and shower in master wasn’t great. But all others very well. I was so surprised that animals were allowed at property and we had such an amazing time being with our dogs for a family vacation. The simplicity of decor does make sense for accepting animals. The owner was very responsive and available. It was a little hard finding the place as my gps was off a mile or more! Lol and we thought by pictures it was located in the Golf community but wasn’t. Overall this property was worth the view alone. Had all the amenities, for me personally wished for a little more comfort but my children also loved the upstairs loft it was beautiful just no tv up there for them.

Nice Place to stay

Nice place to stay. The home was clean and well kept. Very quiet at night and you can see the stars forever from the dock or deck.
