Spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath lake cottage on Briggs Lake. Only 5 minutes from downtown Brighton. This electric motor lake is all fun and games during the summer. Relax, unwind, soak up the sun on the sandy beach. We offer 2 SUPs for the whole family to enjoy. Centrally located to the highway, grocery stores, restaurants & bars. During winter months enjoy iceskating, finishing and skiing at Mount Brighton. Because we care, we offer non-toxic cleaning supplies and organic food products.

Very peaceful location with a beautiful view of lake. Host was very accommodating and easily reached. Our dog loved laying out by the lake and looking for squirrels.

My daughter and I had our second annual mother-daughter retreat and we chose the cottage. Excellent choice! We each had our own bedroom that was clean and fresh and spacious. The bathroom was clean and roomy! The kitchen had everything we needed to make nearly all of our meals. The living room was the perfect space for us to spend time with one another. I graded papers while my daughter worked on her college homework. We did this while looking out over the lake and playing Spotify over the TV.We felt safe and the cottage was a short distance away from everything that we were interested in exploring.

Decent Place

It is very nice having a place on the water — the view is great and neighborhood was quiet. The house is decorated well and was comfortable for our short stay. Unfortunately, it did smell like cigarette smoke when we arrived and the toilet seat is broken.

Lakeside camp with up to date amenities. Camp was clean and and comfortable. Kids enjoyed swimming and paddle boards every day. One of the nicer camps in the neighborhood. We stayed during the week and neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. Lots of little details provided by the hosts made this trip fun and easy.

Cute lake cottage

We stayed during our daughter’s graduation. Away from crowds and cute lake. Nice small grocery nearby. The cottage was comfortable for sleeping and relaxing. The only inconvenience we found was that it’s on well water and it’s quite rusty. We bought water for drinking and brushing teeth. We did shower, but our daughter who has very sensitive skin was a bit bothered by it. Just something to be aware of. Great host and very easy to communicate with. Would be a great place for summer, we were there during cold weather.

Good place to stay for a weekend with family

Cottage wasn’t much to look at from the road but was very clean and updated inside. The road to the cottage was pretty rough. The beds were comfortable and clean. The view of the small lake was very peaceful. Overall a good stay.

Great place to stay

This cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything one would need. The cottage is updated.The bed I slept in was very comfortable and had good linens. The kitchen had all supplies necessary to cook, bake or reheat meals. Very satisfied with our stay. Will book again.

Don’t expect much.

This was far from clean…daddy long legs hanging in cobwebs and dust bunnies in every corner. Mind boggling what people consider “clean”. Served its purpose as a place to just sleep during commencement weekend.

Weekend Stay

This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!

Great updated rental

We visited Brighton to spend time with our daughter. The home was updated, clean, and well stocked. Super friendly neighbor who shared his paddle boat and fishing poles. The weather didn’t cooperate so we didn’t get to use the SUPs provided by the owner. The neighborhood is pretty run down but quiet and safe. Morning coffee outside or in the living room had a beautiful view of the lake. Fire by the lake at sunset was perfect for catching up!! We appreciated all the extras and attention to detail! Thank you for a nice weekend with family!

Nice little cottage

Cute cottage and really nice yard. Enjoyed the firepit and the stand up paddleboards. Perfect lake spot.

The ad said property had a Sandy beach. The beach was not maintained lots of rocks and some sand. My grandkids didn’t come out to visit because of the condition of the beach area. I feel I should get some money returned because of the misleading claim of a beach. I have photos and will try to attach. Wearing socks in house got dirty really fast when walking around. The property manager was great and very pleasant and resolved all the issues I took to
