Asbury Park Beach Cottage- 3 Blocks to Beach

Centrally located 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage on the east side of Asbury Park. Cozy and beachy shiplapped interior. 3 blocks to the beach and Convention Hall. A quick walk to The Stone Pony and Cookman Avenue restaurants and bars.
5 beach badges provided, beach chairs, towels, backpack cooler, and umbrella, as well as a new Weber gas grill and access to an outdoor shower.

*No smoking or vaping of any kind on the premises or in the cottage
*No off-street parking (we obtain 1 street permit for our block for you as well as help you find any of the ample free street parking on nearby blocks)
*No pets
*No parties
*5 person maximum

The cottage is located in the rear yard of our year-round home, so a courtyard area is shared, as well as points of entry/ exit to the yard. Our 3 young children are present on the property, as well as our elderly, sweet miniature dachshund.

Great location with all of the amenities

Fun 3 day weekend! Beautiful cottage, short walk to the boardwalk, and also Cookman St. The cottage has everything you need! Beach chairs, towels and beach tags, that we used everyday. Jennifer was a great host, and very easy to communicate with.

Great beach rental!

Just got home from a 5 day/4 night stay in this Asbury Park cottage. This rental had everything you would ever need for a beach vacation - everything was phenomenal! 10/10 would stay here again

Another lovely stay!

We returned for the second time to this adorable well kept beach cottage. It’s clean, comfortable and has everything we needed as a family of 5. The best part is the close proximity to the beach and boardwalk! Jennifer and family are responsive kind generous and helpful - we hope to be back again!

Fun in Asbury

We had a great time at the Cottage… perfect location for beach & restaurants, house itself was lovely with all the amenities one would hope for. The owners are amazing hosts, so welcoming and helpful. I’d recommend the Cottage for small families or groups of friends.

Great Stay

This cottage was very clean and just adorable with everything you need. It was a nice get away and perfect for my family to gather and spend time together. Jennifer was the nicest, she recommended restaurants which were perfect, obtained parking permits, beach passes, chairs, umbrellas which helped make our stay that much easier and relaxing.

Great Beach House

We had a great stay at this listing. Check-in was seamless, all communication was perfect and the proximity to the beach/boardwalk was excellent. The house was very comfortable and was totally stocked with everything you need for the beach (coolers, chairs, cart, passes, etc). It’s always so wonderful to find a place and a host as nice and detailed as Jennifer. We would all love to stay here again.

Amazing rental, even better the second time around!

Beautiful property with everything you need for the perfect beach weekend. My husband and i stayed here in 2022 and came back with a new set of friends and had a wonderful weekend-- the house is still packed with all the essentials: beach chairs, towels, beach badges, bath towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, and plenty of coffee.

Best In Asbury Park

This is the second time we've booked at the same location and, once again, we had an amazing time. The location is prime to the beach/boardwalk and downtown Asbury Park for food, shopping, swimming, etc. Property owners are responsive, pro-active, and in both trips we've made we didn't have a single issue.

Such a great spot!!

We loved this house! Super convenient to walk to beach and walk to downtown Asbury Park for restaurants etc. the house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed and more. There were thoughtful things to make us more comfortable (my favorite were the plentiful nespresso pods AND freshly ground coffee!) we cant wait to come back!

Family Beach Getaway

Recommend! House was clean and ready when we arrived. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us. Prompt and consistent communication with our host, who was very friendly and addressed all our questions. We appreciated having a parking permit, beach badges, gear and towels to use. Kitchen allowed us to make breakfast each day and location was close to many local supermarkets. These extra amenities are a great value. Overall, a lovely experience for our family. Thank you!

Quiet residential neighborhood; lovely hosts.

Beach chic kept beautifully clean and tidy. Thoughtful details of bathing supplies and linens. TV in every room. Beds and sofa very comfy. Slept well with no road noise. Our stay was off-season in late September. Interior noise verberates from first floor to second. Whoever gets up first will wake others. Staircase can be dangerous in poor light. Descent gives optical illusion at the last step just before the landing. The rise on the step is shorter than those above. Looking down, the last step appears to be part of landing. I fell, missing the step by thinking I was placing my foot on the landing. In the kitchen, the refrigerator is side-by-side with the range. Cooking greatly heats up the protective barrier on the refrigerator's exposed side. We kept to the microwave. As in all my away from home stays, I long for a shower wand. I find they are more convenient and efficient, using less water. Our hosts were very pleasant and more than accommodating. We enjoyed the printed materials to help us navigate both streets and a little town history. We highly recommend the restaurant, Moonstruck.

Asbury Park Paradise Cottage

Phenomenal, oversized cottage in the perfect off-street central location just blocks from the Boardwalk and Beach. This warm and charming bungalow with sunny upper balcony and lower porch also features three comfortable beachside bedrooms above the modern, huge, and engaging open-air first floor living room/kitchen combo. Clean and well-appointed with great snacks, towels, and toiletries. The hosts were also very accommodating and available. Asbury Cottage is a cool coastal cottage; highly recommended!

Perfect weekend in a perfect location

I can’t put into words how great this space is, but I can try. Totally optimal location— literally three blocks to the boardwalk and beach, 10-15 minutes walk away from everything else on our to do list. The space itself was great for me, my husband, and three of our friends. Great bedrooms upstairs, and an airy and large downstairs great room that made it so easy to hang out and play games (when we weren’t at the beach) and a kitchen that included two types of coffee makers, a blender, pots and pans, and anything else we needed that weekend. We’d often take our coffee to the front deck area first thing in the morning, which also had ample seating. Our beach days were so easy with the provided beach badges and chairs and towels, and the bathrooms (including an outdoor shower!) are fully stocked, too (ask me if I overpacked, not anticipating how every detail of this house was thought out). Last but not least Jennifer was a communicative and kind and amazing host. Offering use of bikes, letting us know when early check in was available, and the timeframe for checkout. Honestly, this trip made me and my friends want to buy houses in Asbury Park but if we don’t, we will definitely be coming back to this rental soon!

Perfect family-friendly beach spot

We had a wonderful stay here as a family of four. The house is absolutely beautiful and comfortable, and Jennifer is an impeccable host. There were so many little extra amenities provided (bathrooms stocked with extra toiletries, coffee, cereal, extra towels by the outdoor shower, small toys) that made it even nicer. Jennifer arranged for our parking permit in advance and it was easy to find a convenient spot. We greatly appreciated the beach wagon and Radio Flyer wagon that was provided, which made it a breeze to walk to the beach with two little ones and all of our beach gear. Based on Jennifer's recommendation, we went to the 7th Ave beach and it was absolutely perfect and super family-friendly. The check out process was also extremely easy. We are grateful to have made great vacation memories here!

Cozy & Relaxing cottage by the beach

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. Jennifer was great in communicating everything and was so welcoming on our first day. The location is amazing, within a few minutes away from the beach. The cottage itself is just as pictured and even prettier in person. Jennifer did a great job with the decor, including even the smallest of details such as a tin of salt water taffy upon entry by the door. The light color scheme throughout the home gave it an airy and beachy feel which was nice. I highly recommend this cottage and would enjoy returning.

Perfect Location and Space

If you're looking for a place a brief walk from the shore this place is the absolute best. My wife, two small children children, and mother had an absolutely wonderful time. This was the first time we'd used Vrbo and so I'm trying to leave good details. The property was immaculate with great climate control in the house with central air, awesome bathrooms (great water pressure and temp), comfortable bedrooms (super soft sheets/bedding) to sleep 5, and a complete kitchen with everything needed to cook a meal if you wanted to (we mostly just made breakfasts and then ate out for lunch and dinner). Every bedroom and the living room has a smart Roku TV for unwinding or putting on something to stream in the evenings. And the outdoor patio and balcony are great places to hang out/play games or cards. The owners took care of registering our car for a parking permit with the city (and you'll be so glad they did as parking near the beach gets expensive without a permit). They provided beach passes and beach towels that we used during our 3 Day/4 Night stay which made going to any part of the beach at Asbury Park hassle free. You're literally a 3 block walk from the boardwalk and beach with food, entertainment, and just up or down the boardwalk playgrounds and a splashpad for kids. We walked to the beach everyday we were there. The boardwalk has great "shore food"/food trucks as well as restaurants and fine dining available for eat in, delivery, or take out minutes away. The owners couldn't have been nicer people to interact with and their son and my three year old played basketball and ran around in the back patio almost every day. Communication was great and when my mother had to arrive later than us and bring an extra car they were able to get her a permit to park as well. They even had some extra toddler toys, games, puzzles and a water table if we needed more entertainment for the kids. If you're looking to stay close to the beach and boardwalk this is a really great location and you won't regret booking with these folks!
