Old but nice home

We enjoyed our stay. If you need a home for 8-10 people, this is a good option. The driveway is on a busy road, so you need to be careful backing out as many drivers don’t follow the 25 MPH speed limit.

Budget friendly home for large family

This home worked well for our large family. It is older in style and furnishings. The small kitchen is equipped for regular cooking. The washer and dryer are pretty old, but worked. Having access to Lake J amenities makes up for the lack of flat yard space for playing.

Be prepared

This cabin is in the perfect spot. Unfortunately it is quite dated and has not been maintained. Years of dust, mold, decrepit furniture, ancient AC filters and nothing in the kitchen made our stay entirely too rustic.

Misrepresented

This house was nothing like described. It is not air conditioned, there is no cable tv, there are not three parking places, there is not one comfortable piece of furniture in the whole house. This house was a big disappointment and I could not recommend it to anyone.

Horribly Mislead

The property clearly hasn’t been updated in about 40 years. The pictures are misleading- it was so dark in the home we could hardly see anything. There are no overhead lights in the living room or bedroom. The lights/lamps they do have are dim, old and slow to turn on. I realize it’s hard to keep an old home looking clean- but there were cobwebs in the kitchen and some very shady stuff in the trash cabinet. It smelled horrible. If they hadn’t already charged my card, I almost turned around and left when we first walked in. There is not one comfortable chair in the place. A little money spent on some fresh paint, lights and new chairs would go a long way.
