Inside, this air-conditioned home away from home features an inviting living area with two comfortable loveseats, two chairs, and a TV with cable. Prepare everyone's favorite dish with help from the well-appointed kitchen, complete with stainless steel appliances, including a convenient dishwasher. The nearby dining table has enough space for six diner guests, and the breakfast bar has four more stools.

Loved it so much we extended our stay! The two of us visited the island for a few days to unplug from our busy work lives and to explore the bird sanctuary. We woke up every morning to a perfect view of the ocean and walked a few steps out to the beach to view the incredible sunset each night. The porches wrap around the gulf-facing end of the house and provide space for outdoor dining, sun bathing and relaxing on the comfy sectional. The amenities were modern and stylish and the kitchen was well equipped. It was just what we needed and more than we expected.

Overall the house is very nice. Enough space to spread out if needed or be together in the common areas without being cramped. Aesthetically pleasing. Great outdoor areas and an excellent location. The hot water did stop working on our 2nd day and we had to contact Vacasa about the issue. They sent out a local company to fix the issue within a reasonable amount of time but it did take away the afternoon of that day. Some other small quirks with the house but nothing that couldn't be overlooked or worked around. All in all we had a great time and would stay here again.

Great location !

The house is in a great location right on the beach. It was clean with a stocked kitchen. The beds are comfortable and the number of beds/layout suited our needs. Prior to our arrival, there were some minor issues with the house. Property manager was very communicative and they had things back in working order quickly. The reason for four stars and not five, the house is in need of general maintenance. Light bulbs out, ceiling fans (1) doesn’t work, dripping faucet, and the likes. None of this interfered with our stay. I would recommend this house.

Lovely house with an amazing view!

This lovely decorated and roomy house was well appointed overall and clean. We had a few issues at check-in that were addressed by Trent immediately and that was greatly appreciated! The beds were comfortable and everything worked well except for the stove top which was a little tricky. We enjoyed the porch and spent many hours there watching the beach and gulf activities. Our 91/94 year old parents came and managed the stairs but they commented that a ramp/usable elevator and grab bars in the showers would be really nice. We felt like there should be a list of kitchen supplies since we cooked all meals and a more detailed list of amenities overall. It was a great stay and we would definitely come back.

Great location

You can’t beat the location and the house was comfortable and spacious but a little more worn than the pictures of indicated. The house and deck were spotless when we arrived but the area underneath the house was strewn with trash and old rusty beach chairs flung about. The amenities provided could use a boast - like more than one roll of paper towels, more than three trash liners, three dishwasher pods and better toilet paper. Most places we rent provide coffee filters and some coffee. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come again

Great location!

This home is located directly on the beach with a great view. Every morning we saw a large pod of dolphin cruising up and down the beach. Beds are comfortable and room/bed arrangement met our needs perfectly. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. There is plenty of space, comfortable seating and nice size kitchen table. We spent time on the covered porch as well as in the loungers on the lower deck. Kitchen is stocked - except one important thing for us... a wine opener! The neighbors were quick to help us out. There was a minor issue with the house prior to our arrival. The property manager was on it and had it fixed in no time. She was a pleasure to work with and quick to respond. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the house is in need of general maintenance. None of which interfered with our trip. For example: light bulbs out, outside ceiling fan not working, dripping faucet, etc. I would recommend this property.

Wonderful house but maintenance problems.

The house was lovely and was cleaned well. It is in a wonderful location, has a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. The problem is with maintenance of the home. The upstairs bedroom air conditioning unit was broken and had to be replaced. The upstairs bathroom sink was completely clogged, not a slow drain, but stopped up. There were ants and roaches. There was water damage on the ceiling where part of the ceiling was hanging down and a soft spot on the floor underneath. I spent too much precious vacation time texting and calling about the AC and the sink. The sink was never addressed during our stay. I was refunded a little and am thankful for that. But I feel it was not enough for the loss of a bedroom for 3 days and the loss of a bathroom for the entire week.

Great family gathering spot!

We loved quiet Dauphin Island. Beautiful clean home with comfortable beds. Plentiful seating on multiple decks to view the Gulf. Our only complaint is a slowish WiFi that made streaming TV spotty. Otherwise, we loved everything!
