ARRIVAL:
WINDSOR ISLAND NOW REQUIRES ALL GUESTS TO BE REGISTERED WITH THE GATE TO OBTAIN ACCESS TO THE COMMUNITY, AND EVERY ADULT MUST HAVE A VALID ID. Once a booking is accepted, you must provide a list of drivers who must be registered with the gate upon booking.
RESORT PARKING RULES:
Windsor Island Resort allows three cars per House.
The third car must be parked parallel to the driveway, not blocking the sidewalk. *We are not responsible for any tickets issued.
PACKAGE DELIVERY:
You may send packages to the home during your stay. They will be left on the doorstep. If the online seller uses USPS, it will not get delivered as the Post Office does not recognize vacation homes as regular addresses, and the package will be returned to the sender. UPS, DHL, and FEDEX will leave it at the doorstep. We are not responsible for missing delivery or returned packages.
FOOD: As per Florida law, we are not allowed to leave open food in the refrigerators or kitchen closets; hence, all food items will be removed after the guest checks out, and no supply of items such as condiments, coffee powder, salt & pepper will be provided before check-in.
HOUSEKEEPING: Daily housekeeping service is not provided at the rental rate. Before check-in, a professional cleaning company will thoroughly clean and inspect the unit. Clean sheets and towels will be available in the unit.
COVID-CLEANING PRECAUTIONS: As an abundance of caution, Covid-19 safety measures are thoroughly implemented & practiced in this home. Licensed and professional cleaners enter each property to thoroughly clean and sanitize the entirety of the home. As a two-step measure, our Florida Spirit staff go into the home after our cleaners to sanitize high-touch areas for a second time and to fill out our mandatory and detailed checklist for home cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance. This ensures the home is properly cleaned up to CDC-recommended standards and ready for guests' arrival. In addition, the pool is treated with chlorine and chemicals to kill bacteria and keep the PH balance at the proper levels.
POOL HEATER: Pool heat is an optional amenity and can be added to your reservation at a nightly rate of $30 USD with a minimum of 4 consecutive days. Once pool heat is requested and paid for by the guest, it will be turned on and set to 80ºF - 85ºF. Be aware that pool heat service paid after 4 PM will be turned on the following day and that the pool may take 24 hours to reach its set temperature. No refunds will be given due to incremental weather.
Our pool heater pumps have a safety system that prevents overheating the element when the pump works overtime in cold weather conditions. This way causes a temporary shut-off service automatically until the pump can regain its function efficiently.
GRILL:
Cleaning the Grill is the Guest’s responsibility.
Grills are NOT completely disassembled and cleaned by our Housekeeper.
Grill cleaning is NOT included in the cleaning fee we charge. So please expect to clean it before/after usage.
BEFORE USAGE:
We recommend running the Grill hot for 20 minutes without food to burn off excess grease inside the Grill BEFORE usage.
AFTER USAGE:
The guest is responsible for cleaning the grill. Run without any food on hot for another 10 to 20 minutes. Scrub off the grease from the cooking surface. Make sure no food is left on the Grill.
We do not provide fuel/propane. Most grills have a propane container – You can exchange it at Dollar General, Lowes, and most gas stations.
We do not reimburse propane refills. Grill fuels are the guest’s responsibility.
TRASH DISPOSAL: Trash is picked up daily. Trash may not exceed the limit of the trash can outside. Loose trash will not be picked up. The cardboard must be broken down and placed on the side of the trash can. To ensure trash pick-up, you should have trash placed outside by 7 am.
A Rental Agreement must be signed before check-in. The Agreement is for the exclusive use of the Unit by Registered Guests of 1226 Aloha Blvd Only. The Unit may not be sublet or assigned to any third party without the express written approval of ALOHA OASIS, LLC. This Agreement is governed by and enforceable under the laws of the State of Florida, and for any action, the venue is proper in Polk County, Florida courts.
The Rental Agreement will be emailed once the Reservation is booked.
