Get away. Be inspired. This beautiful artist loft will light up your creative soul. Find inspiration in a truly unique desert loft space. Plenty of space to create as well to play and chill. Including an outdoor deck with new hot tub, cactus garden, fire pit and extraordinary nest 'wave' sculpture day bed. Just 2 minutes from the boutiques and cafes of 'downtown' Joshua Tree and 15 minutes to the national park entrance. Many hiking trails nearby. Unique and Awesome Stay! The Art Loft is an excellent place to stay while visiting Joshua Tree National Park! It is in a quiet location and beautifully decorated and thoughtfully furnished with anything you could possibly need during a stay! Communication with our host, John, was excellent! We highly recommend this place and would love to come back one day!

Absolutely Fabulous!

Remarkable property - absolutely delightful touches that revealed themselves throughout our stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with spices and things one might need without being at all cluttered. The beds are comfortable. The owners’ sense of style felt clean, creative, and joyful. A true artist retreat - perfect place to tap into one’s creative flow. We will definitely return and would highly recommend to others.

Delightfully eclectic!

We were in Joshua Tree for a wedding and stayed at the art loft. We are a family of artists and we appreciated all the creative touches, from the LP playerrecords, books and paints provided to the furnishings and landscape design. We found it immaculate and very comfortable. It’s also conveniently located to shops and restaurants in Joshua Tree and our host John was prompt and very helpful with all of our questions. A magical stay at Joshua Tree

Had just a "fantastic" stay at the ArtLoft. The decor and the environment is unique and clever and very hospitable. A very simple presentation but the components were all top notch. From the Haier fridge to the Sonos soundbar. A very functional and pleasurable space. They provide a wide range of television apps but I paraphrase from a comment left on the chalkboard wall"Lots of television services... but there is a renowned national park just down the street to be enjoyed. Just saying."We did enjoy the park. In addition to hours of hiking and photographing in the park we went to the fabulous restaurant La Copine twice, we also experienced the INTEGRATION sound bath at Landers. After the events of the day the fire pit and hot tub were greatly appreciated.Really a great stay and we will be returning. What is notable is that we winter in Palm Springs and could easily drive to all of these attractions but the house is just a preferred getaway to better experience and enjoy the area.In our opinion 5/5 stars.

Birthday trip

We originally booked a two night stay, we loved the property so much that we ended up extending our stay for two more nights at a discounted price and it was absolutely worth it. The host John was extremely helpful and communicative. We had a great time and would absolutely come back for this property.

Loved my stay at the art loft! It’s a special space for individuals, couples or groups. Works for creativity or peace and quiet and just chilling out. And John, the host, couldn’t be more responsive or gracious. Highly recommend this spot!!

Perfect Spot Near Joshua Tree

Just as described and could not have been better. Something about this place was instantly relaxing when we arrived. Completely stocked with everything we needed. Walmart and others stores a short distance away to pick up groceries. The painting supplies were a nice surprise and we spent the afternoon painting after exploring Joshua Tree.

Amazing property and host

I would love to mention all of the great things about this property and host, but we’d love to keep it to ourselves so we can make sure that we always can book this property. All kidding aside, I am new to Vrbo and John, the host was incredible about explaining everything to me and even gave us some suggestions for local things to do in the area. We had some discussions via mail here and via text, which I appreciated. The property was very easy to find. It was incredibly clean and well kept. We loved that it reflected the “Art Loft” that it was described as, and had a lot of amazing art supplies. There was a sound system that we were able to access and stream our music as we enjoyed the property and amenities. The backyard was just as amazing as the inside and the spa was well kept and clean. We cannot wait to return to the Art Loft. John, thank you again for everything! If there was a way to give more than five stars this property would get it. M & N ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A place to refuel the magic in your life

My wife and I stayed over Labor Day weekend and this is hands down one of the best VRBO experiences we've had. I want to spend time talking about two things, the magic of the space and the thoughtfulness of it all. Magic: The listing is amazing and you might wonder, is this for real and the answer is yes: the actual loft pays all of that promise off. The space is a delight to be in, the vibe is creative but also relaxed. It's not one of those places where your eyeballs hurt after a while because it's "too" creative. Rather, it's all very well crafted to deliver a holistic creative energy you can soak in. The space invites you to do something with it whether it's with visual art, chilling with the vinyl or flipping through a book. We loved every minute. Thoughtfulness: This is hands down one of the best rentals we've ever stayed at in regards to thoughtfulness. Everything is labeled. Everything is where you'd want it to be. Everything was clean, easy and in perfect working condition. The AC was working hard in the hot temps but it did its job. The kitchen had everything you'd want. The bathrooms were immaculate. Seriously, you feel taken care of, even though your host is not there, they still kind of are watching out for you. I know, this doesn't sound like a real review since I'm being so over the top but this place deserves it. Thank you John for sharing this gem with everyone!

Art loft fun times

Art loft was a great stay. Worked well for what we needed. Great communication with hosts the entire weekend. Beds super comfy and entire house was super clean. Look forward to staying there again.

Joshua Tree Getaway

We had an incredible time! The home was very nice. Close to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. We hiked everyday and having the jacuzzi right there when we got home was a real plus. Loved sitting out front in the morning having our coffee listening to the birds singing was a great way to start the day! Would definitely recommend this place for a nice getaway.

Amazing stay

The art loft is BEAUTIFUL. We really enjoyed the record player, the hot tub and the fact that there were canvases and paint for guests. We also enjoyed cooking meals each night in the kitchen. Communication w the hosts was excellent and they offered great local recommendations. 10/10 recommend this place!!

Perfection. This is exactly how it’s posted in the pictures. Every single thing is labeled with custom signage or notes. Clever use of space, the artistic nature of the property is just like living in a piece of art. Will definitely come here again!

John‘s place was exactly as he explained on the app. Plenty of space to relax after experiencing Joshua tree national park. Great little touches everywhere, loved all of the art and books and puzzles and art supplies and record player. Bring your own Travel coffee mugs and pizza cutter. Beautiful property well thought out.

We couldn’t have had a better experience in Joshua Tree! The space is just as pictured and is one of the best appointed rentals we’ve stayed in. They have thought through everything you need and have incorporated fun elements into the experience (we loved the provided art supplies and games). The hosts are communicative and want to ensure your trip is a great one. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful place. Creative, artsy, interesting, clean, beautifully appointed incredibly thoughtful intentional place. Everything you need to be able to cook well, sleep well, star-gaze, relax, be creative, and go to Joshua Tree every single day. John was a wonderful host, attentive, helpful, non-judgmental, always available, flexible and anticipatory. I am already trying to figure out when I can come back for a longer stay. This place is magic!

Truly Enjoyable

Instantly felt at home and comfortable when we walked in the door. The ArtLoft was immaculate and well-appointed…the owners thought of EVERYTHING. It was a truly unique and fun space with an air of “retro-“ in every corner. I had thought it would be more remote, but it was actually in a neighborhood. But don’t let that stop you! It has a very private feel to it and was close to all important aspects of a great stay in Joshua Tree. And a bonus…John responded tout-suite to any request or inquiry. Highly recommend the ArtLoft!

Sit in the hot tub under the milky way after a day of hiking, play games inside or bocce ball outside, get inspired, paint, draw, write, reflect, journal, relax, find your inner 'foodie' with a chef's kitchen supplied with everything you might need to spark up a wonderful meal.
